User Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte delivers on all the promises that OneDrive makes. Once set up, it works pretty seamlessly across all my devices while also providing access through a public access point.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really, my only complaint is the strict password update procedures and requirements. Its like eating salad. You know its good for you, but not always enjoyable.
Also, after updating password, it is not always seamless accessing and updating password across devices....although that process seems to be getting better.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a less than 50 member firm, but our employees are scattered through all four time zones. Data wise, it is like we are all under the same roof.

What do you like best about the product?
Our company setup Egnyte for our remote construction sites with Egnyte in 2019 to ensure that documents and drawings were both secure and properly saved online through Egnyte Desktop. The sites with cellular modems use the caching option, so that they can edit CAD drawings and documents quickly, allowing Egnyte to sync the files in the background. This has ensured that users aren't resorting to working with files on their desktop risking loss or version issues. Having the drawings on an iPad with the Egnyte iOS app also saves on paper, as users move around the construction site. Once a user is set up, I have rarely needed to provide support.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if there was another grouping between Power User and Admin, where a project manager could be assigned rights to certain users/tasks, such as recovering from trash something another user mistakenly deleted. Currently, only the user or admin can perform this task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to access files related to a construction project both onsite and in the office. Ability to have access to files both offline in cache and online in the cloud.

What do you like best about the product?
My personal favorite thing about Egnyte is that when you are editing a document, it locks the document from being edited by another user to avoid any mistakes or overlaps being made, which has been an issue for me in the past.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I do not have downsides, but I am fairly new to using Egnyte.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working remotely we are able to collaborate across Egnyte with ease.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Egnyte as a file server and for archiving, using almost every day. The best thing about it is being able to share large files with outside folk through link and that it's accessible to all those in my org and with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
What's least helpful about Egnyte is that I wish more advanced features like edit PDF were available at lower tier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Egnyte serves as a large file system that is accessible to my entire team and gives ease in sending and finding files that we have years previous.
A Convenient Cloud-Base File Management Platform
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that I can access any data I need for my organization wherever I am, as long as I have an internet connection. It's a safe and reliable platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the price - they're really up charging for the convenience.

Real-time collaboration with other firms.

The speed, the ease and most importantly, the safety. I trust my documents will be kept safely in Egnyte.

Sometimes, it's not easy enough to change the names of folders.

What do you like best about the product?
The entire organization can be working collaboratively. Easy to use with Office 365 and works through both Internet Explorer and an internet browser. We use it every day. It has a lot of features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Well, it is up 99% of the time, and it has fast support. You cannot dislike that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With several offices in 3 differen countries, it facilitates teamwork.
