Great comprehensive tool that integrates with Jira
What do you like best about the product?
Jellyfish enables engineering leaders and managers to measure, improve and communicate the investment and effectiveness of their team's efforts. It's very helpful for us to see the progress of our development efforts and how we can pinpoint improvements.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user experience takes time to learn. Since there is so much data to unfold, it's difficult to hit the ground running.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jellyfish integrates with Jira to summarize progress, identify improvements and streamline workflows.
A very powerful tracking tool for metrics and productivity alike
What do you like best about the product?
As acting Scrum Lead for the DevOps team, as well as a Senior resource for the QA department - a tool like Jellyfish provides invaluable insights in multiple ways. From deployment health, to team productivity, as well as addresing effective ways of carryover mitigation. I cannot recommend this tool enough for businesses that are looking to elevate the benefits of data indicators. The product is very easy to use, and once integrated you find yourself using this product in all aspects of your workflow! Support is always a stones throw away as wel.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult to navigate between the many dashboards occasionally, but beyond that I have nothing worth noting to say!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data transparency, carryover, deployment health.
Good metrics portal to track and refine engineering performance
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to see my teams metrics all in one place and see how we are tracking against our commited dates.
What do you dislike about the product?
some times things are hard to find and if our data shifts slightly I find metricas are not always accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
consitency of metrics and ability to consolidate and differentiate multiple teams. It allows us to track progress as well as focast when work will be complete. It is also a tool to help evlaute where me might have gaps and need to bolster a team for success.

Ease to Use and has all the feature a i would hope for. Continue to evolve and it's becoming better with each new release

Since i started participating on the webinars, nothing at the moment. Just eager for the new feature comming soon

Jellyfish helps users organize and prioritize tasks, which can reduce the feeling of being overwhelmed by a long to-do list. It provides a structured approach to managing daily activities and long-term goals.

It's been very helpful in helping us understand how much work is new investment vs maintenance, as well as what percentage of our development is capitalizable. It's really helping us continue to raise the bar with our process and practices

It makes so easy to track the work spend on the sections

What do you like best about the product?
Jellyfish has made it extremely convenient to review metrics of each individual contrubutor as well as a team as a whole. Being able to pick any individual and see how they compare to others at their level or the organization as a whole makes it really easy to identify opportunities for improvement in an objective manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having migrated recently not all pull requests are associated with an issue which leaves git hygene a bit wanting. Having to manually link each PR with an issue and then wait 24 hours for a sync (or manually trigger one) is a minor issue but one that takes time to resolve. If there were a way to manually link them within Jellyfish that would be the ideal situation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jellyfish gives better insights to time management and productivity that was not accuratly captured before. With the ability to track more accurate engineering time to an issue rather than just sprint point estimates, we are able to assess and validate actual time allocation to projects and maintenance.
Great insights for all levels of an organization
What do you like best about the product?
Jellyfish has been an amazing addition to our organization's ability to understand development efforts from the IC level all the way up to the Executive Team. Implementation and integration with was pretty straight forward once we understood what we wanted to measure. The team at Jellyfish is great to work with and they go above and beyond to make sure we're getting the most out of the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
As features mature, sometimes access to them through the UI changes which can be a little disruptive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to spend lots of time pulling data out of Jira and running analytics because Jira as a tool is actually not very good at providing insights to the data it captures. Jellyfish has allowed me to reclaim that time and still get all the metrics I need without consuming any of my time.
Great Platform for Engineering Managers
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive UI, plenty of data and analytics due to a great integration with Jira, to help make important decisions. Abundance of learning resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
A bit of a learning curve for first time users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me understand how my team is meeting their commitments, and intuitively helps find areas where blockages to value devliery may occur. I'm able to analyze metrics for my team and make more educated, data-backed decisions to deliver the highest quality for our business.
