What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can use code to automate DSN configiration and traffic routing due to its NS! connects APIs-first methodology. This removes the need for labour -itenisve and mstake prone manual configiration changes,
By automating these chore, I can devote moe of my time to mai development work . It can be difficult to fine-tune DNS for best performance across various geographical locations. This process made simpler by NS1 connect's global network infrastructure and traffic steering features , such as real-user monitoring based steering. NS1 connect contributes to quick load times and a seamless user-experience for our apps by automatically directing user to the closest and most capable server.

Great for dealing with cybersecurity problems
What do you like best about the product?
I like the managed-DNS solution by NS1, mostly because of its URL forwarding option (URLFWD record). This is specifically helpful when dealing with a cybersecurity problem where you are somewhere between your domain provider, hosting company, and a DNS or security management platform.
My experience when I dealt with a cybersecurity problem was:
When I moved the website from the hosting company I was using and parked it with the domain provider the problem stopped. I was able to see this from the stats of the security management platform I was using.
This gave me a chance to figure out what the problem was, but the website was down. Being able to set forwarding from the domain provider with nameservers pointing to the security management platform would have been great but it was not possible. I was also not able to set up forwarding with the security management platform either.
In short parking, the domain, and pointing name servers to a security management platform, halted the problem but left the website down. And I was not able to set up forwarding from either the domain provider or the security management platform.
Using NS1 would be:
Point nameservers to NS1 and being able to access the DNS, see stats/queries by location, and then set up URL forwarding. This way a website would not be completely down while resolving a problem.
When I was going through the cybersecurity problem I had not come across NS1, I just came across it recently, but its a keeper. At that time I ended up with a site that was down for a long time.
I also like how NS1 shows queries. You can see activity at 30-minute intervals (almost in real-time) and you can set a filter to see activity over 1 hour or 24 hours, which is great.

What do you dislike about the product?
Even though NS1 shows queries almost in real-time, the shortfall is that it does not show the URLs that are being requested. If for instance, you see that queries to a website are not as expected perhapse they are too high indicating that there could be a cybersecurity problem you are not able to explore this further by seeing the URLs that are being requested.
The other issue is that there is no option to add a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate.
I do appreciate that a more detailed view of web traffic and the option to add an SSL is something that you would get from a hosting company, but it would just be cool to have this in one place? NS1 would be a one-stop spot to fix some cybersecurity problems.
