Why It’s Loved:
Real-time collaboration, comments, and shared folders make Canva work well across teams.

Brand Kits ensure design consistency with logos, colors, and fonts.

Canva isn’t just for individuals—teams can work together efficiently, even remotely.

📊 4. Multimedia Design for All Channels
Why It’s Loved:
Easily create assets for social media, email, web, print, and video in one place.

Resize designs instantly for different platforms with the “Magic Resize” feature.

✅ Benefit:
Saves hours of formatting work—you create once and repurpose everywhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
🧩 1. Limited Advanced Design Capabilities
Issue:
Canva is optimized for simplicity—not complexity.

It lacks precision tools like bezier curves, layer masks, and advanced typography control found in tools like Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.

⚠️ Impact:
Design professionals or power users may feel constrained when trying to execute intricate layouts or custom illustrations.

🎨 2. Designs Can Look Generic
Issue:
Because Canva templates are widely used, many designs can feel overused or “template-y.”

Without customization, your brand or content may not stand out.

⚠️ Impact:
Marketing or creative teams might struggle to differentiate their visuals from others using the same platform.

🧠 3. Brand Consistency Is Easy to Break
Issue:
Even with a Brand Kit (Pro feature), users can still manually override styles.

No hard restrictions to prevent off-brand fonts, colors, or logos.

⚠️ Impact:
Inconsistent branding across teams, especially when non-designers create public-facing assets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
🎨 1. Design Bottlenecks & Lack of Expertise
The Problem:
Not everyone is a graphic designer, and using tools like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator has a steep learning curve. Many teams have limited access to creative resources, slowing down marketing, HR, and internal comms.

How Canva Solves It:
Offers intuitive drag-and-drop tools and thousands of ready-to-use templates.

Empowers anyone—regardless of skill level—to create visuals.

✅ Benefit to You:
You can create your own designs instantly without waiting on a designer.

Speeds up asset creation for things like social posts, decks, flyers, and event invites.

⏳ 2. Time-Consuming Design Processes
The Problem:
Designing from scratch or requesting assets from a creative team can take days—or weeks.

How Canva Solves It:
Offers “Magic Resize,” brand kits, and template libraries to accelerate workflows.

Provides features like AI-powered copywriting and background removal.

✅ Benefit to You:
Reduces time to publish from hours to minutes.

Lets you quickly adapt and repurpose assets for multiple platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, email).

👥 3. Poor Design Collaboration & Version Control
The Problem:
Sharing files over email or Google Drive leads to messy versioning and slow feedback cycles.

How Canva Solves It:
Enables real-time collaboration, commenting, and shared folders.

Supports team templates and locked brand elements for consistency.

✅ Benefit to You:
Promotes faster, cleaner team workflows.

Everyone stays on the same page—even across time zones or remote teams.
