Great for new designers
What do you like best about the product?
What I like about Canva is the ease of using a template to get started with an idea and the ease of being able to customize the template with objects and photos. I love using the AI image generator.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the dashboard is a bit difficult to navigate. I think the UI could use a facelift. Even make it a bit more like other professional platforms like Photoshop or Affinity Design.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva makes it easy to share projects with other for input and collaboration. Also it is a quick place to use AI to generate images for projects outside Canva.
It makes me more creative in designing and faster

The templates. It has a lot of options to choose.

Sometimes it gets too slow, when loading the Design Editor.

What do you like best about the product?
Who made Canva first? Thank him. As a graphic designer, designing is a part of my life. I created a YouTube channel about graphic design tutorials called "Jex Studio," so I started to make videos, but the thumbnails are necessary for YouTube. I know other tools where I can make the thumbnail, but it is a hassle, you need to particular element and spend a huge time to make a YouTube thumbnail. So, here Cava is the boss. There are a large number of thumbnail presets available in Canva that you can edit and customize as demand.
What do you dislike about the product?
In Canva, the most creative and unique templates are premium; there is no way a free user can use those templates, and I don't favour their pricing, but there is a way students can use Canva premium by school or college email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I would recommend that Canva authority should improve "Artboard alignment position" add keyboard shortcuts upward, backward, and Secondely The selection should be more visible between two elements on artboard.

I never considered myself good at design, but Canva changed that. It’s made it possible for someone like me, with no formal design background, to create clean, eye-catching visuals for personal and professional use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the editing tools feel a bit limited when I want more detailed control over design elements. Also, the free version can feel restrictive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Canva, designing anything decent meant either hiring someone or spending hours on complicated software. Canva removes those barriers. It gives me the freedom to create professional-looking designs quickly and independently.

Well i haven't had a bad experience, so far.

The length of time it would take me to make flyers, i can make flers in minutes using templates.

What do you like best about the product?
What i like best about canva is its ease of use and professional quality templates, Even without graphic design experience. I can quickly create attractive design for social media, marketing or business needs. The drag & Drop interface is simple and intuitive, and the template library is hug covering almost every need from flyers to Instagram stories, canva also save time with features like Brand kit, Magic, Resize and real time collaboration which are especially helpful for small businesses like mine.
What do you dislike about the product?
while canva is great tool, one thing i dislike is that some of the best design element, templates, and feature are locked behind the pro plan. For small businesses or individual on light budget, this can be limiting, also customizing very detailed or complex designs can be challenging compared to advanced software like Adobe IIIustrator. Sometime like internet connection affects performance. Since canva is cloud based still for most daily design needs these limitation are manageable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva solves the problem of expensive and time consuming graphic design. As someone running a small business, i don't have the budget to hire professional designer for every social media post, flyer, or business card. Canva makes it easy for me to create high quality designs in minute, without any design skills. It help me promote my ladies dress maker business more professionally, attract customers with appealing visual and save both time and money. Everything from Instagram posts to price lists and booking cards is now simple and quick to make.

Canva is solving the problem of complex, time-consuming design work, especially for people without formal design training. The biggest benefit is that it saves a lot of time, reduces dependency on designers, and helps me deliver consistent, on-brand content every day.

I love how intuitive and user-friendly Canva is. Even without any design experience, I can quickly create professional-looking graphics using their drag-and-drop editor and ready-made templates. I especially like the wide range of elements—icons, fonts, and images—that are available, and the ability to stay on-brand by uploading my own fonts and color palette. It saves me time, and the results always look polished.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Canva is great for most design needs, it can feel limiting when trying to create more complex or highly customized designs. Some advanced features that professional tools offer, like precise layer control or advanced typography adjustments, are missing or harder to access. Also, the mobile app is sometimes glitchy and doesn’t offer the same flexibility as the desktop version, which can be frustrating when working on the go.

Canva helps me create high-quality visual content quickly, without needing to hire a professional designer or spend hours learning complex software. As someone who often needs to design social media graphics, thumbnails, and presentations, Canva makes the process simple and efficient. It allows me to keep my content visually consistent and professional-looking, even when I’m short on time or working alone. It’s especially helpful for personal projects and content creation for social media.

There are lot of templates that you can use it seamlessly.
Very good for Team collaboration when group projects , so that multiple people can work on the same time.

Less features and functions compared to Microsoft products.
The pro - plan has many features that is limited to free users.

It saves my time, especially for university or personal projects. I can make posters, slides, or social media posts fast without needing expert help. It also helps me present my ideas more clearly and professionally, which is useful in both academics and personal branding.
Earlier you needed expensive and high skill to do certain tasks like editing, but now its easily done in Canva.
