Canva Makes Design Effortless with Templates, Collaboration, and Versatility
What do you like best about the product?
Canva stands out for its instinctive and user-friendly interface that makes graphic design accessible to everyone, regardless of skill level. It offers a vast library of customizable templates, images, fonts, and design elements, enabling quick creation of professional-quality visuals. The platform’s collaborative features allow teams to work seamlessly together in real-time. Additionally, Canva’s versatility supports a wide range of projects, from social media posts and presentations to marketing materials and personal invitations, all within a single tool. This combination of ease of use, rich resources, and flexibility is what makes Canva highly appealing.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Canva is highly versatile and user-friendly, some limitations include its reliance on an internet connection, which can hinder work in offline scenarios. The free version has restricted access to certain premium templates, images, and features, which may require a paid subscription for full functionality. Additionally, advanced design customization options and precision controls are limited compared to professional graphic design software, potentially restricting users with more complex design needs. Occasionally, exporting large or high-resolution files can be slow or problematic. These aspects can be drawbacks depending on the user’s specific requirements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva solves the problem of complex and time-consuming graphic design by providing an easy-to-use platform with drag-and-drop functionality and pre-designed templates. This lowers the barrier to entry for individuals and businesses without formal design training, enabling them to create professional-quality visuals quickly and efficiently.
For users, this means significant time savings and reduced costs since there is less need to hire professional designers for everyday design tasks. Canva’s collaborative features also streamline teamwork, allowing multiple people to contribute and provide feedback in real time. The platform’s versatility supports a wide range of projects, from social media content to presentations and marketing materials, making it a one-stop solution for diverse design needs.
Overall, Canva benefits users by simplifying design workflows, enhancing creativity, and improving productivity, all while maintaining high-quality output.

Empowers DIY Design with Ease and Affordability
What do you like best about the product?
I use Canva to create book covers and social media graphics. Canva solves the problem of complicated graphic design. Their intuitive design makes the tool easy to use so you can create graphics without needing graphics experience. My favorite thing about Canva is their large selection of fonts, graphics, and assets that are commercial free. I love their background remover tool. It's so fast. The cost of hiring a graphic designer isn't within my budget, so being able to design things myself makes it valuable. It gives me the power to control the design while staying within budget. The initial setup of Canva was very easy. I'm very likely to recommend Canva to others, especially authors or marketers like myself.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say the thing about Canva that could be improved is searchability of assets. Sometimes, you're looking for something of a certain style and it's hard to search for that nice exact style. Sometimes, cheap designs show up first and you have to do some trial and error to find the good stuff. I sometimes wonder how graphic artists always find the nice stuff on Canva while I struggle to find those same things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva solves complicated graphic design issues with its intuitive design, templates, and tools like the background remover. It's cost-effective, allowing me to design affordably and maintain control without needing graphic experience.
Wide variety of designs and templates, easy and intuitive to use
What do you like best about the product?
Its wide range of designs and templates is easy to use because it is intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
If it's not the paid version, it limits many features, leaving watermarks or without access to download.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pre-designs by category that allow me to take references and carry out creative work, such as posts or work presentations.
User-Friendly Powerhouse for Brand Continuity and Social Media Content
What do you like best about the product?
Hard to choose! It's very user friendly and can do sooo many things! I own a cleaning business and I use it almost daily for brand continuity with the brand kit! As well as creating reels and carousels for social media. I just started using the AI and it isn't perfect but it works really well, especially to be able to edit ai images
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that so many features require a pro subscription now.

marketing and social media ads are easy to create with a saved brand kit
Design Like a Pro in Minutes: Easy Drag-and-Drop, Templates, and Everything in One Place
What do you like best about the product?
What stands out most is how ridiculously easy it is to make things look professional — even if you’re not a designer at all. The drag-and-drop setup, ready-made templates, and huge library of fonts, photos, icons, and elements make designing fast instead of frustrating.
Also big win: everything’s in one place — presentations, posters, social posts, resumes, videos — no steep learning curve, just open and create.
Basically, it turns “I have no design skills” into “wait… I made this?!”

Limited deep design control
Once you want super precise layouts, advanced typography control, or complex edits, Canva starts feeling… boxed in. It’s not Photoshop/Illustrator level.
• Some templates look very “Canva”
You can spot that generic template vibe from a mile away if you don’t customize enough. Makes designs feel less unique.
• Paywall moments
You build the perfect design and then—boom—Pro element watermark 😭 That last-minute surprise upgrade pressure is real.
• Can get laggy
Heavier designs, lots of elements, or slower internet = things start crawling.
• File organization gets messy
After tons of projects, finding old designs can feel like digging through a digital junk drawer.
It’s amazing for speed and ease, just not built for super high-end, pixel-perfect design work.

Collaborative Design Made Easy with Canva
What do you like best about the product?
I use Canva for designing purposes like social media posts, food menus, and printing material such as visiting cards, posters, and banners. I love the large premade templates which help me think creatively by suggesting similar but different designs with consistent typography and colors. The copy design feature is my favorite as it allows me to copy designs from one template to my own. Canva being web-based is great since I can access it from any device, making last-minute edits easy from anywhere. The shareable design feature is also fantastic, allowing my team and I to work together on the same design simultaneously. Additionally, switching from Photoshop to Canva was beneficial because it lets us collaborate easily and handle last-minute changes efficiently without large file sizes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I use Photoshop designs for inspiration and copy them manually on Canva. If Canva could support PSD files, it would be an incredible feature for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Canva's premade templates which spark creative thinking with unique designs. It's web-based, so I can edit anytime, anywhere. The shareable designs enable teamwork, and switching from costly, non-collaborative software to Canva improved efficiency.
