My go to for visual content
What do you like best about the product?
Cloud-based, easy to use, free. Saves a lot of time and can be used by pretty much anyone. Projects can be accessed from any computer which is also nice. And you can upload your files if you don't feel like paying for stock photos provided by canva.
What do you dislike about the product?
Aiming with mouse to catch a small element.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just use it for content marketing
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just start using it and that's it. Don't expect it to work like photoshop though.

Speedy Tool for Beginners to Pros
What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to create beautiful ads and flyers!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would prefer if the whole tool were free to use. Now I have to search through included content prior to creating pieces. Also if you want to adjust the size or dimensions, you must pay for the service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We utilize Canva for basic invitations, flyers, tri-folds, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just try it out. The endless layouts are preconstructed and require so little effort on your end. Just upload a custom logo and picture and edit the verbiage, done.
Amazing graphic design tool for the non-designer
What do you like best about the product?
I love the premade layouts for when you need to put something together quickly but don't feel like mucking around in InDesign or other design tools. They have a wide variety of pre made font layouts, shapes and images, as well as highly customizable colours, fonts and more! Very easy to use and fit to your needs. Definitely has it's limitations, as would any free tool but fantastic resource for quick projects!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the shapes are harder to customize, change the colour or the dimensions than others. I also find the storage of previous projects a little counter intuitive -even if you create sub folders it still shows you everything unless you click on the folders to filter the view. I wish they had a larger font selection in the unpaid version - but the premium seems very worthwhile!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sometimes I need to quickly put together a social media post or a flyer and I don't feel like taking forever to do things in InDesign so Canva is a great solution! I have a graphic design background but for those who are new to design programs or the graphic design world, Canva's pre made layouts and easy to use tools would be a great solution!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely start out with the free version to test out all the features - they also offer a great trial for Canva for Work to see if that works for your business needs. It is very flexible but does have its limitations. Sometimes the final versions in .png format aren't as crisp as you would get with InDesign.
Canva's given me design talent! (Kinda)
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity and templates that are geared toward specific platforms (Twitter, FB, e-books, etc.)
What do you dislike about the product?
Design suggestions as you work would be nice. Sometimes I'd like tips on color schemes and tutorials without taking a full on class.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Images for social media...much more engagement on those posts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the tutorials and know where you want to head. As simple as Canva is, guidance and vision help a LOT.
An Easy Way to Create Quality Designs Without the Hassle
What do you like best about the product?
It's an easy-to-use design tool that comes with pre-made options. If you want an infographic, there are samples already made or you can start from a blank page that is the right proportions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like there should be more options for sizes and designs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating and designing social media posts, blogs, infographics, headers, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it for everything you need!
Fantastic for the Non-Designer Designer
What do you like best about the product?
The pre-done templates are great! Easy to use and give you inspiration for additional designs. Lots of Free icons and possibilities before you need to consider paying. The paid version is totally worth it though. This is great for small businesses who need professional looking design, but can't afford a professional designer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that is would start connecting to Dropbox for uploads and saves.. that would make it so much more convenient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We faced the problem of being able to turn small client design requests around quickly. For example a FB cover photo, or quick social media post. Canva has saved us time and energy in communication with a professional designer who is oftentimes backed up.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great program, easy to use, easy to download and usually very few bugs or problems. Canva for work is worth the $$$$ just to be able to organize all your files. The only improvement I would suggest is a direct connection to Dropbox.
Easy Images Quickly
What do you like best about the product?
I love the quality of the images. The ideas they present are fantastic for getting your own creative juices flowing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Takes a bit to get to understand how it all works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fast and desirable marketing images.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely worth taking the time to learn and implement.

LOVE CANVA
What do you like best about the product?
CANVA is such an easy to navigate, user-friendly software! They couldn't possibly make it more simple to create graphics for people with little to no experience using photo editing software. They just came out with a new magic resize feature which is incredible too. It resizes your graphics to whatever dimensions you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
The it costs money. They have a free version though which is pretty great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Magic resize. I like that you can upload your own fonts. Canvas great for creating social media graphics especially.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try the free 30 day trial.
Love Canva and It's free
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy and it's free. I use it constantly to create simple professional looking graphics for my website, social media, and print material. I really like the preset layouts for the different types of social media. It makes designing images for specific types of social media much easier. oh and did I mention it's FREE. You can purchase Canva's images for $1 if you need to but it's not required.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike. They could add more options and perhaps it would totally replace gimp for me but for now it does exactly what I need it too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I constantly need to create professional looking graphics on the fly and I'm not a graphic designer. Canva allows me to make good looking stuff easily and fast. I just pop open the webpage and choose a predesigned layout and add graphics and text.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I previously used only gimp for graphic editing. Now I use Canva and gimp in combination. Gimp for when I need really specific graphic editing. Canva for when I need it to be quick. The speed at which you can get from nothing to a nice piece of graphic art is very cool.
