Design & Marketing Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Canva makes design for business easy. With plenty of templates, pictures, and other elements to choose from, it helps ensure that your designs and products look good.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm actually completely satisfied with Canva, especially since they now include all images with a paid subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva makes design accessible for me, as a young entrepreneur. Because I can do designs on my own, I am able to save on the cost of hiring a graphics artist only for big projects.
Easy to use in a team
What do you like best about the product?
To use Canva, you don't need any experience in photoshop. It is so straightforward. It's also ideal for a team to share a free account to collaborate on designing graphics. There are really beautiful templates to use and personalize. There are also preloaded graphics, images, logos, frames, etc to incorporate into designs. It's really fast to create images. There are also specific sizes optimized for Instagram, Twitter, Facebook etc. Our team uses this for more than social media. We use it for flyers and media kits. We have tried other software/platforms however not compare to Cavna.
What do you dislike about the product?
As great as it is to have easy-to-use software, I wish it offered a few more sophisticated photo editing tools for those that wish to use them. It would also be nice if there was a search feature so you could easily find older creations. It can be frustrating to scroll far back to find a project from months or a year ago. It would also be great if there was more of an organization system in general.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't have to pay for a system to edit photos or have to do the labor of figuring out details like what dimensions my photos should be for each platform. This is one of the best features. If you are looking to create a photo to post on Twitter, you just click on the Twitter option. Same for all the other major social media platforms. Also allows me to start a project and for my interns to finish the same project.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just try it! You will be glad you did, especially if you are someone with little to no photoshop ability. There are loads of designs ready to use that you can tweak to fit with your branding. You can also create a Twitter graphic, then open up a blank Facebook template and copy over the design, then you just need to resize to make it work. It's even easier when you have the pro account because it automatically does it for you. The pro account also allows you to make images transparents and a lot of othe rhelpful tools. If a company has the ability to upgrade to the pro account, it may be worth it.
Canva is great for the small business graphic artist!

I really have no complaints. It's SO easy to use that anyone can do it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We don't have to time to take photographs for every single social media post - so we go on Canva, create a graphic, throw on our logo. It's SIMPLE!

Just give the free version a try!
Clean Design Tool for Beginners
What do you like best about the product?
The most useful part of Canva for me personally is the portfolio and resume templates that are available - they are aesthetically pleasing, and easy to edit to make them your own. It seems like the number of templates for various project types has increased dramatically over the past year or so, which is great. I also appreciate that projects are saved on the website's cloud for future editing. It's nice that a lot of design options are available in the free version without upgrading to premium. The variety of interesting and unique fonts and icons is another bonus.
What do you dislike about the product?
The program can get finicky when working on spacing/kerning in a complicated design with a lot of text. However, this program seems geared toward entry-level/hobbyist designers, and it works great for that purpose.
The automatic saving function is nice, but it would be useful to have a more intuitive way to save, name, and organize various versions/copies of projects.

Love working with can to do my instagram posts!
What do you like best about the product?
what I like the best is that it is super user friendly, you can just drag and drop elements t create amazing posts or flyers. You can either work in the free version, purchase some designs or pay the monthly subscription which gives you a lot of capabilities. You can either pic still photography or interactive ones which are my favorite, because I'm not very good t designing videos or interactive GIFs and this has been an amazing tool for me to do posting for my personal business. I love the desktop and mobile version!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some templates are very common, so if you don't customize it can be very obvious that you use can, but honestly I love everything about canvas!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
the design part of my instagram, I work with photoshop a lot but sometimes I'm block on inspiration, so there are a lot of templates that gives me great ideas for content.
Easy Design without the years of education!
What do you like best about the product?
I love all the different layout options and the ease of customization throughout the entire app. I can upload my own photos or use theirs as well as completely design my own images or use their hundreds and hundreds of different templates, categorized by theme.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, I have a hard time resizing or positioning elements. One example, I laid out the text justified to the left and the preview was correct. When I went to download the image, one of the text elements was cut off. I had to "misalign" that specific element in order to have it align correctly. Might have just been a glitch but it was annoying!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a professional graphic designer and sometime, I just don' t have the creative juices or time to create a graphic from scratch. I love the option Canva gives me to create beautiful graphics with little to know brain power! :)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The templates and images used on Canva are very professional-looking. This is an easy way to level up your visual game on social media or any other platform where images are needed.
Essential Powerful and Easy-to-Use Design Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Photoshop is overpowered and requires too much of a learning curve to do what you can literally do in minutes with Canva with little to no training. I can easily make custom graphics for social campaigns, ads for digital campaigns, and I've even used it to make recruitment flyers.
I can easily make differently-sized graphics for different social platforms, and I can now remove backgrounds from images with a single click. I've even been able to make ads with animations - which is super slick.

What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly can't think of anything I dislike about it. I suppose the only thing that can be a bit annoying is organizing all of my designs, but there are ways I can sort them by folders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed a quick way to create professional-looking ads and social posts without having to go through a designer or invest a lot of time upfront to learn a tool like Photoshop. I can now create social posts and ads in minutes - giving me a lot more time back to invest in more impactful activities.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider what you use Photoshop for (or think you need it for), and then try those same things with Canva. You'll probably discover you can do more faster with Canva (and for far less cost) than with Photoshop.
