Big fan of Canva over here

What do you like best about the product?
When I spoke with my team about their reviews (yeah, we have been sending each other links to review all month) most mentioned that they had written about Canva simply because they like it so much, they thought Canva deserved a great review. That says a lot about Canva as it is coming from a group of marketers. Known for being particular about the design and creations used for marketing, that this group of marketers all swear by Canva is a show of Canva's ability to convert both professionals and beginners to their platform. The ease of use will help any beginner be confident in his or her design ability, while the vast library of templates, photos, and videos pushes productivity in our marketing department to an all time high.
What do you dislike about the product?
For the longest time, even if you had a paid subscription to Canva, you would have to pay to use certain images or other items. They would not cost more than $1 for a photo for example, but if you were creating something where you needed very specific items, you would have to pay. I think this is a great way of doing business although it would be bothersome sometimes. As, those who don't need these additional features can pay the low fee of Canva Pro, and those who really need it can pay an additional $1 when prompted. It is cheaper than many other stock photos. I belive they have removed this now though, although I cannot be sure if that is for everyone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva's template library allows us to let anyone create graphics and videos for our social media campaigns, advertisement, and signs. Any assistant, intern, or associate can do so and that has made us produce much more content than earlier.

The best free option AND the best paid option

What do you like best about the product?
Canva is extremely useful in marketing activities that require a certain design or flair. With over 190 different fonts available, and thousands of templates to choose from, Canva is by far the best free design tool I have been lucky enough to come across. There is supposedly a limit to how many photos you can upload and store to Canva, but I am a marketer and I use it regularly for projects across the board, and I have yet to reach my limit.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you do decide to get the free version, you will notice that a lot of the items you want to use cost money (referring to videos, images, icons, and more). They are not very expensive, usually $1 for images and $5 for videos, but it adds up over time. Getting a paid account will allow you to use even more of their library for free, but even then there are some really good photos and videos that are off-limits or behind a paywall. However, recently Canva announced that all paid subscriptions now come with full access. If this is related to COVID-19 and/or will continue after, I do not know, but it has been tremendously helpful to many of my smaller business operator friends!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to design posters, brochures, handbooks, manuals, signs, business cards, and to be honest, almost anything under the sun, by the use of an app or online tool? That is the dream.

We love Canva for a robust, easy to use, graphic design tool!

  • May 20, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that there are templates included in every version of Canva so even those of us who are less graphic design savvy have examples of how to begin projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lots of paid content has recently been dominating the platform although there is still a plethora of free content if you aren't looking to invest into a product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to quickly generate beautiful documents using Canva that allow me to make my presentations and projects look like they were done by a graphic design pro!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do their free 30 day trial for a quick project! This is an easy way to try before you buy and even their free service has so many features, you should be able to get your projects done quickly and easily with stunning professional results. Additionally, be sure to use their upload function if you can't find the image you're looking for. Canva also has branding tools so you can quickly select and use your company's font and color branding!

beautiful designs? yes please

What do you like best about the product?
Canva can help even the most design-challenged person you know create a stunning design. It makes it so easy to create everything from beautiful invitations to programs, to menus to signs. They even print them and ship them to your house!
What do you dislike about the product?
Their folder system is a little annoying. I can never seem to find out how to properly save something in a folder (is this even possible? ). But that's it. Other than this - Canva is perfection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A wedding needs a lot of stationary and printed items, and while we do not use Canva for the items that need specialty printing, we use them for all signs, menus, etc. It is cheap, fast, and very effective. All prints always look gorgeous.

#ThatInternLife is made so much easier by Canva

  • May 19, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As an intern, my job is to do a million and one things every minute, but my favorite part of the job is getting to do what I came here for: designing and posting social media content. Canva is super awesome for this! They have templates you can alter and make your own, and they have a large collection of images and even gifs (called "stickers")!
What do you dislike about the product?
There might be features that do this and I just don't know about it, but I wish that scheduling posts would be a feature from Canva that worked similar to Later. If so, it would be so much easier as I could do everything in one spot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems I am solving with canva: 1) how to make social media posts that engage people 2) how to make designs super fast 3) finding pictures that are good enough to post on social media. All of these boxes are checked by Canva.

There are no words - best program out there. AMAZING customer service!

  • May 19, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
If there is one company that knows good customer service it is Canva (and I should know!). I made a mistake in my first 2 weeks of using Canva (it was all my fault even though it was a little confusing) and printed all our menus for a wedding in the wrong size (oops!), and even though it was MY fault, Canva reprinted the menus in the right size for free! How amazing is that? Ever since that day, I have been a diehard Canva fan. I use it to print business cards for our bartenders to take on events, to print signs for events, and to send out company information and emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
I know it seems unlikely. But there is not a single thing I do not like. Not one. That is almost unheard of (you can ALWAYS find SOMETHING), but for Canva, I really cannot. I might be blinded by their awesome customer service, but I am genuinely 100% happy with them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love design and prefer to use design and good visuals to guide customers and employees alike. Canva allows me to do this on a tight budget and allows me an outlet for all my creative energy.

Favorite thing on the Internet

  • May 18, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
So Canva is one of my favorite things ever created, I can create a print to hang in my apartment at home, I can create business cards for the entire company in 10 minutes or less, I can print posters with in a couple of days, and I can create presentations and so much more using their beautiful design templates and their rich library of content.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the past the pro version has been somewhat limited, and you would still have to pay for certain images and videos which is a little annoying when you’re already paying for a premium subscription. However, Karin van has recently released a notice saying that you will now be able to use all the images and videos, if you do have one of these I can’t remember if it’s called pro or premium membership. That is the best news we could all ever have gotten during this pandemic, and I can’t confirm that this is absolutely true, there is now no restrictions when I log into my Canva account and I can download photos and videos that previously I would’ve had to pay one dollar to four.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva is great in the sense that it is about a printing service and a graphic design program. Not only does it have a huge library of free resources that are also available for commercial use, they also have one of the best customer service teams I’ve ever encountered, and a printing service that prints everything in the most beautiful and vibrant colors I’ve ever seen.

Everybody can Create Good Looking Graphics Easily

  • May 17, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The design templates and stock graphics can help even the least design-savvy to produce stunning images. You can use your work of art for social media, web banners, or even print them for real-life usages.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the templates/features are not free.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva helps me create beautiful professional-looking graphics that I can use in my online teaching.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Whether you are looking for ways to create quick graphics or want to dabble deeper with designs, Canva is one of the best online graphics creators available today.

Branch breaker for non-designers

  • May 16, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Use For many years or Canva to create design materials for pieces and campaigns on social networks. The tool is extremely easy to use and, at the same time, relatively robust - you can make beans and rice very well done and look more professional.

Canva offers several templates ready for you to play and use, as well as icons, images and fonts. The paid version offers even more models and materials.

Anyone can use a good one, even if not in the design area.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I don't like about the tool. Canva is very easy to use. Even the free version is very useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly give a more professional face to the parts produced and increase the speed. Not to mention the issue of not being dependent on a design professional to produce simple pieces.

Best publication tool I've ever used

  • May 14, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This is one of the most intuitive tools I've ever used. The interface is simple and clean and it's a very flat learning curve. It's set up in a way that anybody can put together a sophisticated piece of communication, especially with a robust library of design templates. I'm by no means a graphic designer, I'm more of a writer, but when using Canva I feel like a professional designer. It's not as powerful or versatile as an Adobe Illustrator or InDesign, but Canva is easier to use and more accessible (and cheaper). Cannot highly recommend enough, especially if you are a company who does not have a dedicated designer/art director, but you still need to create professional and polished communications.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only disappointment is the lack of basic metrics. You can share/publish directly from Canva but there is no way to track clicks, downloads, views, etc. Having even very simple metrics would be enormously helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't always have access to a graphic designer, so Canva allows me to put together clean, sophisticated, polished communications on my own. It's incredibly easy to use and very affordable.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Cannot highly recommend enough, especially if you are a company who does not have a dedicated designer/art director, but you still need to create professional and polished communications.
