I am able to masquerade as a graphic designer!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the simplicity of Canva. Canva is so easy to use, but delivers a professional and cohesive end product.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much I dislike! Occasionally it's difficult to fully customize a template because words or images have been locked together, but generally this is for good reason! I don't have many complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva allows me to post graphics that are coherent, easy to read, and visually pleasing. It helps me communicate my organization's needs in a way that's fun, pretty, and digestible.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Find the templates that best fit with your branding! Also, you can copy templates and just adjust text for campaigns that are year long.
Canva, the best design software!
What do you like best about the product?
Great for designing on line from anywhere and easy to save to anywhere with pdfs. Great for creating for any skill level. I use it on my desktop and on my cell phone.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the design elements are a bit limiting but overall good just a bit of a learning curve but worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy and on the go graphic designing. I do lots of design and social media posting and this is very convenient.
Graphic design in a hunch!
What do you like best about the product?
Although I usually use of most of the Adobe Creative Cloud programs, Canva is my go-to when something is needed and needed FAST. I love that there’s templates to both give me inspiration and give me a foundation to begin a design and there are even ability to search and input stock photos and vector elements right into your design.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some downfall like not being able to format text beyond bolding, italicizing, and underlining. There are also limitations with some vector images and the inability to edit their colors, as well as the inability to create your own shapes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I always get last minute projects assigned to me from my bosses for activations across our hotel, and I’ve been able to do them quickly and efficiently through Canva. The biggest benefit has been the convenience.

It is worth the price, upgrade from the free version!
Super simple platform to create a wide variety of materials
What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple it is to make a beautiful design. Whether it's a card, an email, a graphic, etc. it always looks super clean and finished and someone who isn't familiar with design or marketing can do it pretty seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's pretty limited on the functionality of it, but that is also the beauty of it. You can't custom create very many icons or designs super easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva allows our team members who aren't as well versed in design or marketing to create beautiful materials that go a long way. It's really nice having the brand kit in there to make it easiest for someone to use a template or create something new within the realm of the company.

Create your brand kit with colors, logos, fonts. It makes it super easy to create new materials in a matter of minutes.

I'd recommend Canva to anyone. Having been a paid and free user, its such a simple tool for creating social images.

The pricing and limited free images is a problem.

The ability to create social images easily and quickly without having to start from scratch every time.
Nice Design App Alternative
What do you like best about the product?
I like using Canva when I need to create a quick design for a client that will be used on social. With Canva, there are already a ton of design templates to choose from. What I like most is that they have the right dimensions for everything ranging from social apps to digital presentations. This alone has saved me a lot of time making sure that I'm creating assets in the right size.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you're used to working on programs like Photoshop or Illustrator, Canva is a step down as far as how easily you can manipulate and edit images. You don't have the full range of editing tools and I often find that this slows me down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Canva, I'm able to quickly create assets and images to use for my clients. So when I'm setting up social or blog posts, I can drop in my images, do a few minor edits, and download all of them to use right away.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Canva is great for those looking for a quick way to get images and create assets. If you need something more robust to do hardcore photo editing or graphic design, then you might want to check out a program in the Adobe Suite.
Absolutely adorable design solution that's so easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Where to start! I adore Canva. It is fun to use, easy to use, it has so many inspirational ideas, free images and templates...it has made my life better!
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a tiny bit buggy - you can't seem to force it to save, it saves as you go along, but sometimes you can get a bit ahead of Canva only to find it hasn't kept up and some of your changes are lost
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are saving a lot of money with Canva. For small design projects we use it - like designing little adverts for social media. We also run all internal comms via Canva and create newsletters, invitations and so on with it. To be honest - the only limitation is your imagination when it comes to Canva.

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to look at templates to get inspiration for event marketing and graphics that I need to make. There are so many template sizes, and designs to choose from.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see more bold and decorative fonts available.

Have some sort of design experience - Indesign, illustrator, PowerPoint
Canva is amazing and honestly makes my job so much easier on a daily basis!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the convenience of creating graphics and the awesome layouts they provide. Canva also has a lot of great images and graphics that improve my graphics a ton!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that there isn't a grid view that you can turn on and off to help align images. I know lines pop up when dragging images, but I would like there to be an overall grid view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making graphics every single day at work! It's the perfect website to make collages, to write on images and really just create any simple graphic design piece for social media.

It is so easy! You don't have to be super creative or a graphic designer, the amazing layouts they provide will get you started on the right path!
Easy to use without any graphic design background
What do you like best about the product?
I love all the templates that Canva creates to help you get started. No matter what type of marketing collateral you’re creating, they have a multitude of modern designs for you to use as a template. It’s easy to customize your design and import your own elements as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’ve tried their printing services, and I’m not impressed with the quality for the pricing. I hope they start investing in higher quality papers so that this service is more beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’m able to easily create social media graphics, email content, flyers, posters and more. I’m not a graphic designer, but I can make a pretty good looking piece with Canva. It saves me time and money from having to use a designer.

Check out the templates they have as starting points. They also great stock images and vectors for additional fees.
