My absolute most-used software as a social media manager!
What do you like best about the product?
I love all of the various social media/project templates and the ability to upload my own brand colors and fonts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes editing text can be finicky, but usually it is not an issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to create similar, branded images for any social media channel (in the correct dimensions)! I ask utilize it to create pitch decks and project reports that are visually appealing and really impress our clients.
Best for fast and easy graphics
What do you like best about the product?
That ease of drag and drop. It is easy to create graphics for social media posts and any marketing materials. I love the ease of adding text to images on the online platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
The app. It is not easy to use and could improve upon greatly. Also that Canva does not accept .Tiff file sizes. Also the ability to cut out images to make transparent backgrounds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media posting and Gif making. It is easy to teach and use.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use this if you have simple and a lot of content to produce. It has ease because there is no use of layers and less functionality than photoshop or illustrator.

I like how easy it is to create custom graphics and GIFs using Canva templates and uploaded fonts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to create more unique graphics by bending text, blending, blurring, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefit to my team is that we create unique and eye-catching graphics that benefit our clients in an easy-to-use platform.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Check out the templates, but make them your own. Don't be limited by them! Find your style and a few basic templates to support that, and go from there.
Canva for nonprofit design
What do you like best about the product?
I work for a small nonprofit, so we don't always have a budget to hire graphic designers. I have a basic background in design and am able to use Canva for social media graphics, flyers, reports, and other marketing needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Canva 2.0 greatly improved the functionality of the site. Photo frames and some other items are not as flexible as you'd like. It'd be great to maneuver the elements as much as you want. Many items are only available through Canva Pro.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to elevate our organization's brand by using Canva. It adds a polished, professional look to our materials that we didn't have before. Prior to me joining the organization, they solved most of their design needs by using PowerPoint.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Canva is a great option for small teams looking to elevate their design. It's an inexpensive alternative to the Adobe Creative Suite, but does offer less features. For teams on a budget, Canva also comes with tons of graphics, free stock photos, templates. etc.
Amazing Software for editing and creating anything you can think of!
What do you like best about the product?
I love their templates! They have a template for everything and well designed too. They also have different sizes and layouts for customization (different size ads, etc.). With this level of variety and ease of use of the UI I'm not sure why you wouldn't want to use it. Turns out roughly 85% of Fortune 500 companies are using Canva today. That's quite an impressive figure.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't say there's much I dislike, especially when you take into consideration that nearly all the features are free. :)
One thing I don't like are the quality/selection of stock images and backgrounds available. They are pricy and not that great. If you're looking for good ones I'd recommend either Shutterstock or Adobe Stock.

I use Canva for everything from posters to ads to invitations. It's really a one-stop-shop for do it yourself graphic design.

I highly recommend Canva to anyone looking to do their own design in-house rather than hiring someone via Fiverr or Upwork.
Easy and Professional
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is the easiest graphic making website that I have ever used.. and I have tried a lot. It is basically the simpler version of Photoshop or other Adobe products. I have used Canva to make beautiful and professional business cards, to make graphics for the Instagram of the podcast I co-host, and even for my past job at a public relation firm. Canva comes in handy.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that I dislike about canva is the lack of free images. Most images and designs that are cute require payment. Other than that, simple templates are free and things are easy to create from scratch.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva has impacted my work very positively. Being able to save theme colors makes it easy to keep all my graphics 'on brand' with my theme. I can even use canva on my phone and while it does not have all the options, it is still useful.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend Canva. I do not have the paid version, but am considering it because of all of the amazing content that is available. I have used the free version for over 2 years and have made amazing graphics that have helped grow my business and excel in my career.
Easy Way to Design Material
What do you like best about the product?
Canva makes it easy to come up with great material for anything that you might need whether it is just information material for a project that you are working on, reports, powerpoint presentations, posters, banners for social media etc. It has made the design process that much easier with the vast amount of templates that it offers the user and it makes it really fun to come up with similar ideas. It is also a great way to design while not losing your design through having an account and being able to have drafts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, if you are trying to fit something like a line or importing photos etc., it might take a little time to get use to. The great thing is that when you first start using Canva, you are able to have a tutorial when you are a new user and there are also a lot of other great resources on Canva that help you use the program a lot better. When you download as png the quality really isn't that great but if you are someone that can get past it then that's fine!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest thing is that now the everyday person can make really great and quality design material. Before, there would be a need for there to be specific people handling material and making it and now anyone that knows how to use the program is able to at least use a template which makes the design process that much easier.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You can use this program for free but that is only with limited use of graphics. If you really like the other graphic designs for your projects you can pay but I have found that everything that I have needed has been for free.

What do you like best about the product?
It's very simple to use using drag and drop. It's got some great templates making it easy to design great looking material.

It is more restrictive than something like Photoshop but for people who are not particularly tech minded it's great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm creating some great content for client social media accounts. I've also designed business cards, flyers and posters. I've also created a few e-magazines which I was particularly pleased with.

If you want a simple solution to creating eye catching content, Canva is probably for you.
Best platform for creative design
What do you like best about the product?
The software is easy to use, very organized for teams, and offers tons of free/cheap templates and images for use in content creation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software has pulled back a little on the number of free images and objects but there ares till many options, especially at the Pro tier. The social media publishing option can also be a little problematic at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva has been essential for every client I have worked with over the past few years and is the best way to design interesting content quickly.
Anyone Is a Graphic Designer with Canva
What do you like best about the product?
The variety of templates, tools, and embellishments available to create electronic and print material for business. I like that you can create teams and folders to organize designs. The interface is easy to learn and use. I like the ability to create branding with color schemes and fonts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the inability to co-edit with team members, to update changes in real time. It's not easy to share designs across different teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Canva we can rely less on our in-house communications team to create our own graphic designs. It reduces time spent going back and forth. It allows us creative control and vision. We can crate designs fairly quickly and everyone on staff has a chance to learn a little something.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Canva is a great tool. They offer a free version. Just try your hand at creating flyers, social media images, banners, or anything else. You'll quickly get the hang of it. Plus there's hundreds of template designs that you can start with, especially if you don't have any idea where to start with graphic design.
