Favorite Graphic Design Software

Easy graphic design
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is pretty user-friendly. I have no graphic design experience, but there are a lot of easy-to-follow templates that helped me make some nice-looking ads for my business.
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of the best templates are paid. They don't cost a ton, but for a small business with a next-to-zero budget for marketing, it's not our favorite thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to make some eye-catching social media ads for holiday sales. I can't tell how effective it was at driving in customers, but we got some social media engagement.
Easy Design Software
What do you like best about the product?
I love working in Canva to create everything for my own business! I am able to create flyers, social media (platform-specific) images, headers, invites, tickets, and much more all with one program. Canva has thousands of fonts, images, graphics and clip art that will fit in and work with almost every theme imaginable. I've been able to use Canva to create a brand for my business and use the base colors, fonts and images over and over again to keep everything consistent. Once the product is finished you have the option to download it in a few forms and you aren't just limited to one. The paid version also lets you download with a transparent background which is ideal for logos.
What do you dislike about the product?
For a free site, this program really can't be beaten. If you are a true designer then this program might be too limited for you but for someone without that background it is ideal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Whether you are using Canva for a small, large or individual business it eliminates the need to rely on someone else. For me, its the solution to keeping my costs low and also keeping a hands-on approach for every decision of my business.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend this software without any reservations.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can create my own layouts or choose from the already created items. The elements that are free are great, and the paid elements are low priced enough that I am not breaking the bank purchasing them.
What do you dislike about the product?
More free elements would be nice, but there are a good amount of free elements that its not a deal breaker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva has allowed me to create visually pleasing real estate marketing material quickly. I enjoy putting my own graphic design skills to use and the user friendliness of it makes it super quick.
Social Media Marketing Specialist
What do you like best about the product?
We LOVE canva and use it daily! I have been working in paid ads for Facebook/Instagram for just about 2 years, and without Canva I can’t imagine doing my job. They have incredible templates that a perfectly sized for whatever Ad channel you’re using them for. I work at a digital marketing agency and all of my clients ads are made in Canva. They have built out the “pro” paid version of Canva nicely too where you can upload your brand fronts/build out your own branding kit, and have access to fun GIPHs/PNGS/imagery to be used in the ads. I have also used the printing option for cards that we made to bring to a trade show and they were super high quality, great resolution on the images and strong card stock.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly not too much to dislike about Canva. The only suggestion is that they could update their templates more frequently because they do get exhausted fairly quickly especially when we have 15 clients per social media specialist and we’re trying to deliver unique content for each.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coming from a marketing background my graphic design skills are minimal, but Canva makes in easy for anyone to design. We use it daily for organic/paid content creation and LOVE the creative templates and the diversity of the templates offered. We are able to store our designs in different folders for each client and streamline their marketing brand guide by uploading fonts/logos/pngs to make sure everything stays on point with their brand image

Graphics made easy
What do you like best about the product?
The templates are some of the best out there. Not only are there templates for logos, but for social media posts, and all other things you might need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the best images you have to buy, even if you have a premium plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating graphics for social media, email, logos, and even office documents such as letterhead or presentations.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Play around with the opacity of different objects. Play with templates. Use a template and add some text with their text templates.
Your custom or selectable designs quickly and easily
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is an excellent option for creating posters, Facebook covers, Twitter posts, Instagram posts, among others. It allows me to carry out campaigns and promotions, the best part is that I can create, customize, and upload them directly to my social networks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Canva is very accessible and has many design templates, but the mobile app is a bit imprecise because when I finish the post, it tends to move parts of the design, leaving texts and images overlapping. Other than that, the web software is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped me to do advertising quickly and all its design templates are excellent. I love it because I can create my designs from scratch and customize them, which gives a personal touch to my designs. Additionally, I can do it from anywhere and whenever I want. The mobile app is very good because if I come up with an idea in some remote place, I just use it and that's it. Although lately the images and texts move, I know they can improve that. With Canvas, I'm happy; I can create, download, and especially share advertising and run campaigns instantly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is an excellent tool that has incredible features; you can even create resumes and photo collages, flyers, logos, invitations, among others that are very useful for our work and personal use. I can't stop recommending it as it is a very powerful and intuitive software that helps you attract potential clients and keep your long-time clients informed about the new campaigns of your new products.
Canva is great for fast and great designs
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is great overall, i really like how simple it is to create designs out of no where, something that really helps in the creation of this designs are the pre loaded templates, there are several types of templates across Canva, this way depending on the content a user is about to create it provides different examples, this includes Facebook posts, posters, flyers, banners and even helps students for potential work designs, its really dinamic, as well it provides templates for resumes. This is something i really share among my peers since I am from a third world country where unemployment rates are really high i have several friends and family members that are looking for work, the resume templates available in canva provide a great difference when piled with others, i really believe that i was able to obtain my job not only because of my experience but the outstanding design Canva provided to me.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's several things that Canva should add, i feel that they should be able to add a way of removing the background on uploaded images, if power point can do this im pretty sure Canva should be able to. Another thing that is really complicated is rearranging an uploaded image, there are some templates that have the figures where uploaded images can be placed on other figures and its complicated making designs since passing over an imagen automatically wants to replace the previously added image to the figure, this forces me and my team to use the arrow sticks to move the uploaded image to not change the design, another thing it would be nice to make it simpler and more dynamic the way to add charts and tables, since I work in a marketing enviroment its crucial to not only have great design in the reports but understandable and easy to create graphs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva really solved my issue in creating visually and organized reports for my organization, I previously felt overwhelmed in having to create pretty reports out of nowhere from power point but canva came and saved the day.

Canva is great to create easy and beautiful reports, presentations, ads, social media posts, etc... Its great to create ANYTHING that has to be visually attractive.
Easy platform to design posters and social posts
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use of Canva is fantastic, whether I'm making a social post for Instagram and Facebook or making a flyer. I also love that they have an app for ease of use to do quick uploads to social.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more choices in the free area, but the benefits outweigh the costs of what you get.

The pre-loaded templates that can be customized to fit anything - I love that I can drag and drop things and make it personalized without spending a ton of time on it!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't enjoy how many "premium" options there are sometimes when it comes to shapes and stock photos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I solve the problem of time management. It's now saving me so much time when I can drop things into a template and its ready to go, rather than spending hours on it because I had to create it myself.
