Canva is quick to learn and easy to use. I use it to make advertisements, social media posts, classroom decor, and more. It makes everything look professional and unique, even though I am not a graphic designer.

Great for social

What do you like best about the product?
Canva is perfect for small business or not-for-profits to create graphics and optimize images for use in social posts. It’s simpler and cheaper than using photoshop.
What do you dislike about the product?
Built-in fonts are okay but users will need to upgrade in order to meet their organization’s specific brand guidelines
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building graphics for social media is time consuming and can be inconsistent. With Canva, it’s easy to set up a template and rapidly build social graphics that follow a style or design elements.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Canva has a not for profit program. Look for a form in the Canva website to request a free not for profit account. Free!

A great free tool for graphics

  • October 03, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's very straight forward and easy to use. There are things you can pay for, but the free version still gets the job done well. I also like the pre measured formats (i.e. facebook post, instagram story, linkedin banner) so that you don't have to guess what will look good once the graphic is in its intended place. There is a large variety of formats and examples so if you're not creative, the job is pretty much done for you.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish pictures could be edited on another level. For instance, I wish I could set areas as transparent. If that were a feature in the paid version, I would definitely buy it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using this tool, our graphics looked homemade and outdated. Things look a lot sharper and trendy with Canva.

High quality design for the non-artists!

  • October 02, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Canva has a wide variety of templates, fonts, images, and clips to use for free or a very low rate. I recently made games for an office party and in total it cost me .99 cents for one of the images I wanted and every other aspect of my design was free. I received so many compliments and actually had coworkers wanting to pay me to design games and invites for their personal use. I also use Canva for our wordpress blog at work. I am able to design banners to use as the header to make it easy for readers to see which blog belogs to which series.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really love using Canva and I think it is by far the easiest way for non-graphic artists to design beautiful and competitive promotions. My only dislike, if I must come up with something, would be that when using any site like this it can be hard to be original and you may see similar designs being used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva has solved the problem of needing a graphic artist for my personal blog and also my companies blog. We no longer have to contract out for small problems but are instead able to create in house using Canva. As long as someone on your team has a good eye or a creative mind, Canva would be a great solution to save money!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend Canva to any organization looking to increase their visual appeal on social platforms and blogs.

Canva is a great way to create fliers and social media posts for your business

  • October 02, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The upsides to using Canva is that you can easily choose the dimensions you need by using a template or by using custom dimensions. In addition, there is a library of photos, elements, and fonts you can use to work perfectly with the design you are creating.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the downsides to Canva is that copying and pasting material from other sources, such as a photo, can be a bit of an annoyance if it will not upload sometimes. There have been a few occasions where I have copied and pasted a photo and it has not uploaded properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva has transformed the work that I do creating events. I can easily create fliers and Instagram posts to advertise my events that look great and don't look tacky. The biggest benefit for someone who is OCD like me is the alignment tool to make sure items and text are centered properly and line up.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend Canva because it gives you a great variety of options and is very user-friendly.

With Canva I work fast, producing designs and a lot of online content of very good quality.

  • October 01, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Canva is an online design program that was developed that was surely developed by brilliant people with very good intentions, thinking about satisfying real needs, because when using Canva I can see that it is an intuitive, generous and free software that allows me to create a large amount of content for my social networks, customers and advertising, with quality results that improve the image of the company where I work, improves my image as a professional and always meets the needs of customers. I like that despite not being a professional graphic designer, I can make quality content by editing images and templates with many options that allow me to transform each work into a creation very different from the previous one.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have absolutely nothing to say against Canva, I am very grateful for its generosity and quality, as well as the ease of use, it is designed to help and satisfy the needs of all users, the only bad thing, is that Canva is that graphic designers have lost prominence and are no longer in demand, they are only contacted for much more complex work, but this is also good, because it allows us to be the creators of our own ideas, with which we will always be satisfied with the Final product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The company can meet the hundreds of demands of its customers, in terms of image editing and photo gallery, using Canva, they are always very satisfied and we have increased our number of customers referred by former customers, which is a positive thing, we have also He was able to create a lot of publicity to position the name of the company and a better image in online media.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend Canva blindly and with the total certainty that it is a program capable of satisfying the needs of any user, I hope they remain as effective and generous as they have been so far.

Super user friendly

  • October 01, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This is super user friendly for those that are design challenged. This is a life saver for me as I wear a marketing hat for a portion of my job. I'm able to put together professional looking content in minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
So many options that I get lost but, would rather have more flexibility and creative outlets vs. the latter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We don't have a marketing dept so, we're able to dabble w/creating and content w/out the overhead.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Play around with the app and try things out until you have a branding feel that works for you.
