Canva Sets the Gold Standard for Easy, Evolving Design
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is an all-in-one, gold standard for straightforward design tools. It is popular among individuals, creators, and small businesses because it is easy to use, and its features are continually being developed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see templates that offer greater flexibility, as well as a more seamlessly integrated AI stack. It would also be beneficial if the pricing were lower and the free tier came with fewer restrictions. Additionally, introducing a more affordable pro tier for teams, with reduced limitations, could be a worthwhile consideration in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a consultant and small-business owner working with clients, I find Canva to be my top recommendation for basic design needs. It is especially useful for creating simple social media posts, banners, and presentations, and I also occasionally use it to design secondary brand assets.
Wonderful but need a class to learn everything it can do!

Versatile and User-Friendly Design Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like Canva for its simplicity and ease of use. The drag-and-drop interface and a wide variety of templates make designing quick and stress-free. Even without a design background, I can create professional-looking content in minutes. The cloud-based access and collaboration features are really helpful for working across devices and with teams. I enjoy how versatile Canva is; it works well for different design needs like social media graphics, presentations, documents, videos, and simple animations—all in one platform. The auto-resize feature for different formats, brand kit options, and easy sharing or exporting tools are particularly useful. I also appreciate that it's cloud-based, making it easy to access designs anytime and make quick edits without worrying about files or software installation. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy and quick, with clear on-boarding and tutorials, allowing me to start designing right away. The transition from traditional design tools to Canva has been smooth, improving productivity, especially for quick marketing and social media content.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Canva is very easy to use, some advanced design features are limited compared to professional tools like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. Customization options for complex designs, detailed photo editing, and precise layer control can feel restricted. Also, many premium templates, images, and features are locked behind the Pro version, which can be limiting for free users. Occasionally, performance can slow down with large or complex designs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva lets me create professional designs without needing advanced skills, saves time with ready templates, and simplifies collaboration, making it perfect for quick, consistent branding tasks.
Empowers Creativity with Ease, But Be Unique
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Canva for making templates and edits for my projects. It makes it easier to edit photos and style them. I'm really impressed with their in-editor photo editing capabilities and the ability to add custom and built-in stickers, as well as text to images. It's a 'work smarter not harder' type of tool that makes expressing myself easy without losing the essence of my work. Without Canva, the same tasks might take hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think just the homogenization of Canva; you need to be creative to be unique because it's so easy you can see Canva being used all across the internet. The initial setup was a lot to take in at first because of how filled up with ideas it is. It takes zero training to start with, but using it efficiently took some time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva makes it easy to edit project photos and style them with in-editor features. It simplifies adding custom and built-in stickers and text to images. It's a 'work smarter, not harder' tool, cutting down the time needed for creative work.

The ease of use makes my work smoother. I really enjoy using the templates and the ability to edit images I already have, making small changes or adding text overlays or resizing them. The initial setup was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their AI features are a bit behind on what is currently happening in the content creation space

Empowered Our Design with Ease, Needs Video Editing Boost
What do you like best about the product?
I use Canva for creating brand posters and Instagram posts, and it saves me a lot of time and reduces my dependence on the creative team. I like its dropdown feature and find the pre-designed templates to be Canva's most powerful feature. The drag and drop feature is also very useful, along with its element and graphic library. Canva has tremendous features like removing backgrounds, which make life easy. Switching from Photoshop, I appreciate Canva's easy tools and its very easy setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
Canva still needs to be improved when creating a video. It's lacking video editor elements, making it limited to an image editor kind of tool. It could be improved by adding features like those found in CapCut.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva saves me a lot of time and reduces my dependence on the creative team for posts.
