I. LOVE. CANVA!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the templates! It makes the design process go much faster and it's perfect for getting inspiration! Love it! I also like that you can add your own fonts and such to it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that you can't right click on it. I'm used to be able to doing that in other design programs which speeds up the design process. It would be a nice feature!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The thousands and thousands of templates is probably the most useful. Mostly because it just gives me tons and tons of creative inspiration. It inspires more for more complicated design work for outside of Canva.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Feel free to explore and try something new. Also the paid version is 1000% worth it
Great content, can be a little unwieldy
What do you like best about the product?
Can do a lot without paid subscription; provides all the background pieces to make a nice piece of marketing material or art. The templates get you started with the correct dimensions for common tasks making it easy to make a piece that is viewable as you want it to be on whatever medium you're planning on using. It's easy to make a couple versions of each thing (one fitted for Facebook, one for Twitter, etc) without having to start from scratch each time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be unwieldy, with things not moving where you want or moving when you don't want them to. There is a learning curve to the features; some features are more complicated and take more time to learn than the final product I want to create is worth. Sometimes I can't figure out how to make something fit just how I would like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Can create effective visual pieces with not a ton of effort. They look super professional and high quality even when they're simple, just because of what the program allows you to do - layering, adding different types of media, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use the templates! They get you started with the right dimensions as well as with ideas if you're starting from absolutely nothing. Change a color or background, add a couple of shapes to put formatted text on for contrast to draw the eye - it gets to be easy once you've played around with something that's already put together.

I love that it already has templates which makes making flyers and designs so much easier! As a content creator, it helps to inspire me.

We need an option where it lets us underline letters and it's hard to scale photos sometimes. Probably more shapes too.

I am constantly creating flyers, social media posts, and letters.

I love the desing and the UX presented in the platform. I feel like it invites you to try and do the best presentation that you can. Also I like the different templates, I have written from a CV until a financial presentation

The payment is not cheap for a little graphic or line. I believe that it is not the way, they could charge differently

Great design, but fully online

Canva has a wide range of preset templates, literally for every marketing material you might need. There are hundres and thousands of presets that you can easily modify to your specific needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing that bothers me most, is the fact that Canva is an online platform and al the design are saved online as well. The moment you lose your connection, you lose access to all your designs as well.

We use canva to draft most of our marketing materials. There are so many presets that one can create multiplie drafts in the blink of an eye. It is easy to get a first idea what the end product should look like.

What do you like best about the product?
Canva has a lot of different templates that can be used quite readily. I like how quickly I can make edits to work I have already done. I like to use it for a weekly newsletter and use a copy of last week's newsletter to use as a model and basis for the next one.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that a premium account is needed to resize posters and other materials. I also don't love that it's not very user friendly and it's difficult to fully customize work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Canva to create posters and newsletters. This solves the problem of not having visually pleasing newsletters and posters. It is quick and easy for me to use and has lots of different options and templates.
