Easy, creative software to create aesthetically pleasing material
What do you like best about the product?
I love the templates that already exist and the different color pallets that already exist. Canva does a wonderful job of presenting color pallets and different designs that fit the size dimensions that I have selected. Canva gives a lot of options for premade templates but also offers the opportunity to customize the outcome.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more free features to use in order to be able to use the trial period and really get the full experience of using Canva. I also would like there to be a confirmation when buying certain vectors because often times I have been charged for something without really wanting to purchase it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Canva to create eye catching material to advertise my office's capabilities and reach our target market. I realize that these creative marketing materials catch our user's eyes and bring them in.
User Friendly Content Creator
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is super easy to navigate even for first-time users. The ability to have pre-set text blocks with fonts, sizes and scales assigned makes designing quick and beautiful. The templates are also great to have when you don't want to start from scratch. Canva makes it easy to design and then download to share file types and you can also share and collaborate in the design space as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Certain file types for multiple pages cannot be changed, so this presents a challenge to create multiple projects as opposed to be able to download as different file types for one project with multiple pages
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I frequently create interactive content to update my remote team and Canva helps me to make my communication more impactful. It is especially helpful in creating infographics for my teams to share and even collaborate with different managers to share content across teams.

Canva sparks so many ideas for me! I love how it’s unique and eye catching.

A Powerful Web Based Photoshop
What do you like best about the product?
I love the web based platform for Canva. The fact that you can start a project one place and pick it up on any other device is truly a great thing for any designer on the go.
What do you dislike about the product?
It lacks certain features that keep it from being 100% professional like photoshop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been able to create dozens of thumbnails, logos, and page ads in Canva. The preset images make creating fresh content easier than ever.
Canva is a great tool for making flyer and posters
What do you like best about the product?
There are many different easy to use templates that are easily editable. Users can choose from specific types of creations from presentations to social media post to poster to flyer. These are bright and beautiful with professional quality work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like more choices for the free images and graphics. Otherwise, you can find your own images and upload them, which is an option as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to make professional quality flyers, posters and social media posts. These are a great alternative to Powerpoint as the slides are more visually appealing.

Great alternative to Powerpoint, makes image rich posters, flyers and social media posts.
Amazingly customizable, user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I have used this product for 4 years now and only continue to see improvement! It is easy to use, and I train my volunteers to use at the food pantry for creating recipes, infographics, and the newsletter

I wish it had a grid line feature to help ensure all items are aligned
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing of the food pantry in a way that is easy to replicate in the future. The benefits this product has created are numerous, mainly the increased visibility of our pantry.
The Best Marketing Tool Ever
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is extremely user-friendly but powerful. When I was taking my marketing classes in college, I used Canva for about every assignment. I like how Canva doesn't charge people who want to use the software for free but the premium version is definitely worth it! I especially like that when you want to upload a picture, you just simply have to drag and drop it into the program and it will upload & keep that image for you.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much that I dislike about Canva. I think that there should be more free images that users can use in the program, its not worth paying one dollar for an image that you'll likely never pay for again. It would even be nice if they lowered the price just a little bit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Although my startup is still really small, Canva allows me to market for my company (Airlock). I can make flyers, brochures, business cards. It's an essential piece to the growth of my business and the future of it.

It's a great product and free so you might as well try it and see if you like it.

Canva makes me feel like I’m a licensed graphic designer ! Super easy to use and tons of flawless templates to get you started.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t like that the membership is so expensive. I feel like resizing a document should be included without a membership as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I make all of my marketing material through Canva. It is quick and user friendly and everything always comes out beautifully!

I love that is free! And the images are very professional. Super easy to use. The phone app is very user friendly and easy to figure out.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t like that some of the best images have a few if you want to use them. Some of the editing feature are hard to use on a phone. The desktop program is not as easy or user friendly as the phone app. I tried it a few times and finally gave up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating cute images to attract customers and communicate with our current customers. Customers are visual and I love being able to engage them with a attention grabbing graphic.

Great for creating quick and easy images that grab your customers attention! The phone app is much easier to use than the desktop program.
Great tool for ad design
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity to make the designs offered by the application is one of the things that I like most about Canva, its interface is very intuitive, so the work is much simplified when creating ads since practically the only thing we do is drag and drop of images and insertion of texts. I also liked many templates offered by the Canva service and that the designs are very good, so much so that sometimes they are much better than my own and I end up using the template with just a few modifications.
Another interesting feature is that we can share our designs with anyone through a link or using social networks. Currently the application has two modes of service, one free and another called "Canva for Work" which eliminates the limitations and allows access to many more designs.

What do you dislike about the product?
Although the application is very useful for my work and I use it regularly I think that its price is somewhat high, I hope that with the launch of a new mode of service the current one gets a small reduction in its price, for the rest the application works well and the results are professional.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly I use Canva for the creation of ads and the templates that the application offers to use as a base are very useful because of its great design quality, I personally rely on these templates and only modify what is necessary to personalize it. The results are very professional.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend paying the subscription of "Canva for Work" if you are going to need to use templates since with respect to the free subscription the latter has many more templates and advantages of all kinds that make it worthwhile. I also strongly recommend that you use the application in the Chrome browser since I personally think it works much more fluid.
