The Perfect Platform for the Casual Designer to Create a Professional Finish
What do you like best about the product?
Unlike most graphic design platforms Canva is available completely free of charge with many amenities included, such as free templates, fonts, and multiple formats for download from .pngs to .pdfs. Most importantly the platform is incredibly easy to use. I have years of design experience in Adobe, but I consistently recommend Canva to people who need a simple design solution for things like social media promotions, posters, menus, event programs, etc. I also think that for those looking for an in-between product between Canva and Adobe, the Canva Pro subscription is affordable and offers expanded options that are worth the fee.
What do you dislike about the product?
Canva certainly isn't a top of the line design platform, but it's also free of charge so it would be unrealistic to expect the same design capabilities from Canva as you would from Adobe InDesign or Illustrator, for example. Those programs also cost a pretty penny every month though. One thing to keep in mind though is that Canva doesn't integrate certain design elements that you may find necessary. For example, there are free fonts available but you can purchase or upload fonts. There also aren't printer specification options that can be essential for more professional jobs. The platform is definitely more suited for digital designs than print projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva is perfect for businesses that need professional looking designs for social media, facebook ads, newsletters, etc. but don't need (or want to pay for) a top of the line product or invest the time to train staff in it. Canva is a great option if you want to equip a staff member to create beautifully designed Instagram ads in an afternoon, or need a simple design for an event or program.

Weigh the needs of your company and the benefits of choosing a free, simple to use, but also simplistic in product offerings program like Canva, with the cost, training, but thoroughly expanded design options of other design programs.

I like that the software is easy to use and it doesn't take long to create a powerful image.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't that many free options, i.e. templates, photos, fonts, etc.

It's very easy to pick up and learn.

What do you like best about the product?
Canva is one of my best alternatives for design editors, since I can work from anywhere with only Internet access and a browser. Canva has a wide library of templates with which I can work without problems, it also contains the sizes set for different social networks which is very useful for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
The use of canva turns out to be very bad when you have bad connection to the internet since it does not allow you to do almost anything this limits me a lot the work since it does not contain an option to work offline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva helps me to be able to do my work from anywhere and always get the best results.

It is a very good tool, since it contains everything necessary to create a quality design, I recommend it since it can get you out of trouble at work.
Use it Every Day
What do you like best about the product?
I like so much about Canva but I think the best thing are how many free stock photos there are. I used to pay for subscriptions o different platforms and after finding Canva, they have so many that I don't need to anymore.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't currently dislike anything about Canva. I have had a great experience with it so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Because of their amazing stock photos, it is SO easy to create a beautiful design. This has made my job alot simpler not having to import or find my own photos.

If you are currently subscribed to big stock or shutter stock check out canvas free photos and see if you like them.
Customizable or Creative
What do you like best about the product?
This is a good program for beginners and those who are advanced in designing. It is easy to use and learn for those who may seem intimidated by a program such as InDesign.
What do you dislike about the product?
One aspect of Canva that was frustrating is the sizing. Once a file is saved, I found that the proportions would be off centered compared to my original file on Canva.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used this program for various invitations, promotional materials, and email graphics. This program has become a vital resource.

Be sure to look for free items - not all items require a payment
Fairly Functional
What do you like best about the product?
I love the simplicity of the product. You don't need a background in design to create a wonderful graphic. The free graphics and text functions that come with the free option for Canva are plentiful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lacks some basic functionality with text manipulation (ex. changing text size within text box), which can get a bit annoying. Sometimes I have problems saving my work, and I cannot use the undo/redo function (which seems like a huge thing to be overlooked).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Canva for quick flyers for marketing--much easier and faster than photoshop. That's useful for us because we have several programs that we need to get material out for. We only have one account, which allows myself and my supervisor to share our work seamlessly.
Design Skills Not Needed
What do you like best about the product?
Super simple to use and get started. You don't need any previous graphic design experience to make nice looking social media posts, flyers, or cards. The free version is extremely robust and it is very clear what benefits a paid version would have. It is nice to know as I use the product how my experience could be improved without having to buy it to see if it would be worth it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Finding things like text can be difficult. Knowing what to type to get the results you want is not always intuitive. Sometimes finding simple things (such as a plain, square, solid-line border can be difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to create eye-catching social media posts. With no experience in graphic design, I am able to produce consistent, on brand posts with ease.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The paid business version has some really nice functions such as saving fonts and colors, but if you aren't using more than a couple fonts and colors it might not be worth it to purchase for that reason alone.)
Great and free graphics tool
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is an amazing and FREE! graphics platform and it is very simple and easy to use by anyone and no prior experience is needed. I like that it has templates for all the social media like twitter, facebook, etc... all what you need is to select what you want to design ( poster, social media app, brochure, program, etc..) and then start the work. There are many fonts and icons available to enhance your designs and when you are done, the graphics can be exported to PDF or high quality images.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I don't like is that I have to be online in order to use Canva.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva helped my to create some nice brochures and flyers that were required by advisors at school. It really helped me to make decent designs that impressed everyone at school.

Canva is a great and free graphics platform that can really help students to create their own designs
A creative developer!!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Canva user nterface is laid out with clear instructions on how to start using it. Also, I like that I can move between different sections and find what I need easily and quickly. It's helpful that If I do not want to use a template, I can start from scratch, giving me the option of being 100% original or let Canva help me out a little bit. The cost is low for everything that it offers. I really like that I can as well, adapt the creation for almost any platform, like a post on facebook or a website layout, being multiuseful on every site. Love that I can share the progress with my clients trough easy communication networks. Helps me to explode my creative capacities and pleased my clients with unique and different creations each.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the software can't be use if I do not have internet and I think they should make an alternative page where you can work on the designs while traveling or when being in long distance places, would be very hepful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva has benefited me a lot by offering flexibility to work, because for me, a freelancer, I do not have machinery or programs too specialized to make esigns, so this software has offered me a dynamic way to work on designs and concepts to my clients with my limited resources, getting adapted to them and their requirements, I have been able to create posts and publications of promotions with this software on an easy way, being another great benefit having saved a lot of money, as an only designer, there are many tasks that I have to do, the clients often ask for designs to their social media, and saving resources to develop later my little business, it's key, and Canva has contributed with that goals since I can do everything in one place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Canva has great designs so you can go slowly develop your skills on the design field, as well as giving you the posibility to start from scratch when you feel confident enough with your own imagination, canva is really easy and helps you in all stages of creation, give it a try!!
Embellish your photographs and images
What do you like best about the product?
Canvas is one of the editors of online images that I use the most, I like it because I can log in quickly, it also saves my work automatically and keeps the images uploaded to use whenever I want, I can say that Canva is very interactive and does not require much knowledge to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it can work offline, some functions require that you have access to the Internet and I think you should have better smart trimming tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Use canva to create content for social networks of my company, since it has many templates to edit, which makes me work faster and easier.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Excellent tool that should not be missed, the options you find in canva have nothing to envy other image editors.
