Easy Graphics for Social Media & Business
What do you like best about the product?
I like the drag and drop feature the best. Super easy to upload designs, and it's also easy to download in multiple forms like PDF and PNG
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they offered a higher resolution max. I have the professional subscription and the max resolution is 5000 X 5000. I also wish you could upload more fonts, they cap it at a couple dozen, I believe. I pay $12/mon but wish it was half that price.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I create all of my social media quotes, pinterest, and Facebooks posts using Canva. I also use it for teaching and can create fliers, schedules, and other teaching tools with style.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
So much easier to learn than AI.

I which they would keep improving Canva 1.0, allow you to center text or images easier, add shadows behind text, etc.

Canva is definitely worth a shot. If you are starting and don't have much experience as a graphic designer, it will help you with all the templates they already have.

What do you like best about the product?
- You can work from any device (Tablet or phone) or PC that has internet access.
- It is an online tool, therefore it is free, and it is easy to use, which helps users adapt more easily since no design knowledge is needed to create a project. You can also customize the dimensions of the designs to be executed.
- It has a wide range of images and libraries that help design very quickly. If you don't find images to your liking, you can purchase premium images for $1.
- It has great flexibility to work as a collective tool, allowing you to share the design with clients or colleagues to improve the design under construction.
- A great advantage is that you can save a project in PNG, JPG, PDF, and animated GIF formats (trial format), which maximizes printing. Additionally, the color function is another of its most prominent advantages since colors are saved automatically without needing to remember the hexadecimal code.

What do you dislike about the product?
- The difficulty encountered is that it does not provide guidelines to know when the design is centered and aligned with the rest of the project.
- Another problem found is that once the project is saved, a slight modification in the design can be seen.
- A conflict presented is that if the image (with all the titles and arrangements) is accidentally selected and sent outside the workspace, everything collapses. Clicking the undo button starts to undo the images outside the workspace, which results in having to redo the design.

Presentations can be set up to show executives a specific project, and it is also used to create designs for advertisements on social media.

I'd been struggling with Photoshop for years and paying 10$/month... Until I discovered Canva had all the features I needed!
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a dislike, but they could integrate more royalty-free stock images from PhotoPin and Unsplash in their galleries like Hootsuite does.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have created my logos, graphics, and everything I need! The templates help me create whatever I need while still looking professional and polished. So much better than PhotoShop where I have no guidance whatsoever.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking to make collages (gift and shopping guides) and graphics to promote your business and products on social media, Canva is the perfect tool for you. The templates available for each social media network are up to date and incredibly useful, taking away the guesswork from you and letting you create. I've used it to share quotes on beautiful backgrounds on Instagram, create amazing Pinterest graphics, design a logo for my business and even a couple of Kindle book covers. If you cannot afford to work with a graphic artist, Canva is your best bet and lets you have professional-looking graphics fast and for free!
One thing: don't be discouraged by the lack of royalty-free images available - just go to Unsplash or Photopin and you'll find gorgeous ones you can use for free!

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Canva to solve my creative challenges for several years now, and I love this platform. Rated against competitors, I think it stands out above the rest.
I LOVE canva's library of photos and graphic elements. Whether free or add-ons for a small charge, I have found their library to have better artwork than its competitors. I also love the download formats available, and how easy it is to make transparent graphics for a wide range of uses.

The only thing I don't love about Canva is the options available within charts and graphs. Better functionality and more options here would allow for even more business uses like reporting etc.
Also, I have experienced occasional problems with the download function which can be stressful against a deadline.

The other benefit is speed. You can create graphics on demand for campaigns rather than having to send a project request out to your agency, or waiting on the in house designer to clear their schedule.

What do you like best about the product?
I will never need another design software after this. I can save all my designs safely here online. It has 1000s of templates, colors and fonts.

Nothing at all. I literally have no complaints!

I use this for everything. Every publication comes from canva- flyers, invites, programs, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
Mostly I love that it is free. It's so hard to find a tool to design that is free. I also love all of the photos and illustrations Canva provides for free. The templates are also a great way to make a design or to get an idea. Canva offers so many different sizes of templates and provides the necessary measurements needed to post on Facebook, for example. Canva also provides a lot of different elements you can use i.e. lines, shapes, frames. You can also implement brand guidelines through Canva that makes it extremely easy to design and very quickly. I love Canva's new feature that allows you to crop just by clicking on the photo. Great tool!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think there are many things I dislike. One thing, though, is that sometimes it's hard to use with images. Sometimes they will get stuck and you cannot move them around without deleting and adding again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We utilize Canva to design flyers, social media posts, and invitations. The benefits are that anyone with the login can access the designs and that there are so many different design templates and sizes available.

Use Canva! If you do not have any design experience, this is an amazing tool to allow you to use templates and sizes already provided for you.

Additional charges for Canva for Work. I am currently using the free version because I don't see the benefits of paying to upgrade.

I have been able to create "teams" for clients that I work for so they can access all of their designs in one location. It makes it simple for clients to create their own social media images.

What do you like best about the product?
Tons of templates and the program automatically saves your work as you create, which is very helpful!
What do you dislike about the product?
Most graphics and icons either require premium membership or individual fees. It can really slow down your browser too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Love using it for most of my content creation and have stuff that was backed up on Canva that I lost even with Google Drive.

There was a little learning curve but they have "how-tos" on every topic. I picked it up very quickly.

It sometimes has trouble and has me "reload" my design and I lose some elements and have to redo it.
