A lot of the very good quality images are not free.

Canva is easy to create and download jpeg and pdf versions that can be used on multiple platforms.

What do you like best about the product?
Canva is unique. I like to use it for a lot of things, the interface is simple and userfriendly, the disposition of the tools is intuitive and it offers you a lot of templates, images, illustrations, and fonts that I can use in my projects. The exporting settings are great since you can export the files in jpg or png (and this depending on the work you're doing, are two great formats) Allows me to upload my own images and graphics, which is great for the majority of us that share a lot of original content.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't use videos or gifs in it and sometimes is slow and difficult to move things around.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Due to my work as a freelancer graphic designer I use canva to make the designs of my clients. Thanks to the tools that offer me, my clients are always very satisfied because I manage to capture exactly what they want in the designs I give them. This has brought me many benefits such as recognition of their part and their fidelity. As well as the remarkable improvement of my portfolio, so that now it looks more attractive and professional. I have also received many proposals for work, from small companies, brands, restaurants and others, who want my designs to represent them.

I truly recommend Canva, is an amazing design software, that offers you the exact tools, to make professional designs!
Excellent online design tool for non-designers
What do you like best about the product?
As the sole marketing staffer for a busy non-profit, Canvas offers a quick way to create professional-looking graphics and designs for social media, flyers, postcards, etc. While I have a strong background in design, experience with and access to the full Adobe Creative Suite, there are often times that Canvas can help me crank out graphics faster that still look great. And, the branding and team tools help empower my colleagues to create their own designs for one-off needs and be less dependent on me for simple needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Canvas is very user-friendly, even for those without design experience, the navigation is a bit quirky sometimes, often leading to a ton of open windows. Also, wish that you choose file location when you save, rather than defaulting to your downloads folder. Lastly, files may have comparability for outsourced printing, so Canvas is more useful for online graphics and in-house printed pieces.

Get Creative with Canva!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the selection of templates. I can upload my own photos and rearrange what I want. It’s simple to use and everything looks professional.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that it glitches sometimes but other than that is a great tool for creating posters, collages, Facebook banners etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’m able to create posters and flyers for advertising so I don’t have to go to a graphic designer every time I need something. I can create my own gift cards and easily get something to post for sales in 10 minutes.

It’s great for flyers, cards, collages, banners. I use it for everything!

Some of the templates are not as flexible as I would like them to be for my purposes.

I don't need to outsource work for marketing materials.
Simple to Create
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can either upload my own design or choose from many suggested designs for a multitude of products, such as business cards, social media posts, flyers, and more!
What do you dislike about the product?
The fonts are not consistent across the products. Example, I created a logo and wanted to replicate it onto a business card. The fonts available in each product were not the same, therefore I could not make the two exactly alike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have created many social media posts and business products with Canva. Canva is simple to use with a relatively easy platform. The free version is a bit limited and it does have a learning curve as you begin with it, but overall it is easy and affordable and versatile.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give yourself time to learn what each button/option does in Canva. Play around with it. Understand that the app for your phone is different than the desktop version and is more limited. Use the different types of products to create different looks for your social media.

I have the whole adobe creative cloud and still 8 times out of 10 will pick canva over it. I love it!

I wish there was an eraser tool but other than that I really do love Canva

It's SO easy and affordable to make great designs for advertisements.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Lots of templates. Can upload and use images. Great to create presentations and cover pages. Offers different font and symbols to beautify your designs. Can also work with shapes.

There is lag sometimes. Desktop version and mobile app can be provided for quick work.
30 designs per template at a time. After you have created 30 designs using a template, you gotta create another design thread to use the same dimensions. I feel they can increase the limit. For a heavy Canva user, this only means that a lot of design threads of a single template will be created. This, in turn, will further make Canva's functioning slow.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I discovered Canva during my very 1st job when the only graphic designer in the staff would give me a tough time in sending across timely designs. I had to manage the social media pages and it was imperative for me to ensure, that graphics be prepared on time for me to post. That is when I started my search for a basic designing software that would fulfill making good looking post-worthy graphics.

A large pool of FREE shapes, fonts, frames, grids, icons, lines, colours (including custom colours) to choose from. You can't ask for more

There are some aspects of the service that are very limiting, but overall it is great.

For people who are not proficient in graphic design and experienced with Adobe software; this is a great alternative to still get the job done.
