LOVE, LOVE, LOVE... and it's FREE!
What do you like best about the product?
It's free, easy to use, has great templates, and free stock images.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can become glitchy at times, but not very often. Also, I wish you could add more brand colors in the free version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Graphic design. Canva allows the org to design professional marketing collateral without the cost of hiring graphic designers.

Must try... you have nothing to lose because it's FREE!

I like that its so easy to personalize the poster

Sometimes its hard to select a certain thing on the poster.

It's very easy to create a nice looking poster
Very Simple to Use for a Non-Designer
What do you like best about the product?
I like all the options and available templates from social media posts, infographics, flyers, invitations, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it had more gridlines, etc. to help space elements properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I mainly use Canva for social media posts to help boost impressions and drive more traffic to my website.

Canva for easy, clean posters
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoyed using Canva for my internship. It allowed me to make clean, appealing posters for the school I was working with. They needed new marketing materials, but on a lower budget and Canva allowed for us to do that.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I disliked about Canva was the consent need to keep saving a file and how long it would take to save it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to create new and updated marketing material for an elementary school. It provided the school with a new marketing vision and allowed them to gain more applicants .
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Canva is a great way to create different marketing pieces with a different style than the basic microsoft versions. The colors and features are vibrate and current. This application can easily improve the marketing or hand outs for a conference.
A user friendly app for designing with wide variety of templates.
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of this application is its availability on web platform. I don’t need to download it on my system. Apart from this its user interface is very easy to operate. It’s fun to make designs on this application.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it takes more time to upload a file for editing. And I found many cool templates with watermarks. They should provide some more templates without watermarks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
On this application I created many unique designs for my clients. Whenever I need to design something in less time, I use this application only.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For aspiring designers I would defiantly recommend this application because of its user friendly interface and wide variety of templates availability.
Canva, the photoshop for dummies
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is an extremely user friendly graphic creation tool. The website is free and features allow for a lot fo freedom within the program. The templates allow the user to have a beautiful starting point for graphics, and it can be easily customized to the user's needs. The program also aligns and snaps objects inline making the formatting very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features are paid to use. Projects are shareable, however there much be associated logins for said projects. This may be annoying or an issue for creating legacy notes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are making flyers and education documents. This is good for formatting aesthetically pleasing documents without having to the knowledge base to use more complex applications such as adobe creative suite.
Canva is must have for all creatives!
What do you like best about the product?
You can do so much, especially change format from Social Media to Traditional Media, ebooks, documents, marketing materials, etc... so one design can be applied to limitless formats. They have great images to uses, even a lot of free images. It's easy to share your work and use other team members designs as templates. And they have so many awesome templates to get you started... you don't need to be a creative genius, but Canva can help you look like one!
What do you dislike about the product?
They have made some nice updates, but it's hard to organize uploaded images in folders, but this has gotten better lately. Also, it's difficult to use paid images again after 24 hours without having to buy them again. But the downside here is very small compared to all the perks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can create great assets to use in any type of marketing campaign... helps us to save time and be efficient in our review process and sharing within our team. We have limitless options for our overwhelming needs... Canva is perfect for running our Digital Marketing operation with such a small team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you opt in for the paid version, the benefits are well worth the cost over time. I wouldn't go with out it, especially if you work with a team.

What do you like best about the product?
Their templates and layouts make it easy to put together a professional brand. I love their canva color palette function as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Scrolling through their stock photos to find the right one can take forever. I wish there was a better selection tool or filter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Advertising and email templates. It helps us create signage and online media content that works with our branding.
Easy to use, Intuitive, and High Quality
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use graphic design program that results in high-quality graphics
What do you dislike about the product?
WIsh there was an option to have a flyer that's already created automatically re-sized to a poster or down to Facebook ad size.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to churn out high-end promotional materials despite a lack of a graphic design professional on staff.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Can be frustrating to pay for more intricate graphics, but pennies on the dollar compared with hiring a graphic professional.
Great customer service
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy working with all the tools- they’re easy to use and get creative with. I like that my work saves automatically. Their customer service is super quick to respond and have given me very helpful direction when I had questions about how to finish and print the projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
When making a mistake and needing to erase or undo a part of my project, or paste a new image- it doesn’t always undos correctly and I seem to lose my work/progress...and the new image doesn’t paste correctly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not only does the website have neat options for do-it-yourself business card makers , they also have a variety of templates to knock down hours of decisions and planning time
