Canva is a user-friendly, visually engaging power house in my daily work.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the variety of sizes and layouts to fit communications needs for different mediums. I also like the selection of fonts and graphics to add some needed dimension to graphics.
What do you dislike about the product?
The amount of people starting to use it - sounds selfish but begs the question, will the designs be considered unique over time as users increase? They may have to keep creating new templates at a higher rate. I'm already seeing similar designs pop up on multiple small business social media accounts. Not a huge deal, but comes with the territory of Free Account users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been solving the problem of graphics and communications elements that were not flowing, or were getting stale. My emails/social media posts have become more visually pleasing and we can even create a more consistent quality of the print items we mail out, because of the option to order print materials through Canva.

I love that Canva provides layouts for you while allows you tailor your project to what you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are certain fonts that aren't able to be bolded, italicized and underlined.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
More exposure to different populations and getting more parties engaged through newsletters, and flyers.

What do you like best about the product?
Canva is very simple to use. There is an amazing amount of free stock photos along with plenty of graphics to use for projects. The drag and drop tools make the service easy for anyone. The ease of use and the cloud service is incredible.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how slow the software can run at times. Most times this is because of slow internet, which is part of using an online software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva gives me the ability to creative marketing materials at an affordable price. Before affording more expensive editing software was hard, but canva makes it easy to create great content!

Use it. There’s no product on the market like it

What do you like best about the product?
The templates make it easy for my company to produce high quality-looking graphics in-house, saving as a load on money on outsourcing a designer. We design and use canva for pretty much everything including our the website and social media posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few problems come up now and gain which can get a little annoying. My company is quite niche so finding images especially free can be a problem, so more images related to our niche would improve things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva allows me to create new ideas and content to put out on social media. Canva helps to achieve professional looking designs which have been complimented by customers. My social media has become more professional in it's look and my engagement has increased as well.

What do you like best about the product?
The interface ability to drag and drop is really simple to use. You can place objects, text, pictures and frames very easily without restriction. The product really helps individuals who do not have access to graphic design software to be able to still make design-worthy looking products.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the end, you can normally spot a Canva design over a professional design. While there are many options in terms of style to choose from, you just cannot avoid having your end product look canva-ey (or gimmicky).

Newsletter designs, social media posts. You don't need to know graphic design software to be able to design nice-looking products for your company.

What do you like best about the product?
Love that canva is so user friendly! There is no learning curve and there is an abundance of free options for what you’re trying to create. I’ve made dozens of marketing materials and signs for our company and i love how easy it is. People often ask how I trained myself in graphic design when in reality, it’s just canva!

It streamlines any graphic we want to create quickly and cheaply. Everything we make comes out looking awesome

What do you like best about the product?
User friendly, and has a good collection of images and graphics that are licensed and ready to use. Love that I can load in my own fonts to keep branding consistent and that I can export pngs with transparency!
I appreciate I can create designs on custom dimensions.
I also love that, even if you are working off a template, it is really hard to make the design ugly. You have a good place to start with and they let you riff off it in you own way without worrying about copyright!

I wish there was a draw tool... Then they'd have everything!
Not all templates are proportionally correct for social media and other internet ads. Wish there was more to play with in the 8.5x11" department

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating coupons and graphics for customers which helps streamline communication and meets expectations.
I also have used it for social media advertisement, t-shirt designs, program designs, and other marketing material. It is easy to keep branding consistent!

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely worth going CanvaPRO. It makes your limited options unlimited by giving you the ability to work with transparency and loading in your own fonts and logos. It really streamlines my creative process because I can just pull in logos and magically resize a design! This helps when I am creating one design to go across multiple platforms. I also highly recommend it because it is all online, so you don't have to worry about massive software downloads and updates. And designs can be shared between accounts, so no more email attachments and long lists of revisions!
Canva has made major upgrades over the years and is a legit tool for agencies of all sizes.

Very good tool when it works. Great concept to have brand guides built into the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
The support is amongst the worst in the SaaS industry. We have used Canva for nearly two years. On two occasions the service was disrupted for weeks. The support team was absolutely no help and did not take our inquiries seriously. Appalling, considering we pay more for this than we do for Adobe Creative Cloud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None at the moment...we cannot even login to the tool and the support team will not fix our issue..
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're an agency or a freelancer that handles design clients, do not rely on this tool. It is great for a novice or someone who wants to do designs for fun, but if you NEED to use it, you'll be disappointed and will have trouble getting any support when things don't work.
