Great app to design images
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to use the program. I can design so many different images for my blog and social media accounts. Everything looks so professional. Canva is great for beginners who have no idea how to design.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that the iPhone app had all of the same options as the desktop version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to create social media posts and Pinterest pins easily. I have also used Canva when I wrote an ebook.
It's like we have our own in-house designer!
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is an amazing, powerful, easy-to-use graphic design tool! We use Canva for all of our graphics and rarely have to outsource to an actual designer. It's super fun to work in Canva and those who have adopted it on our team tend to start using it in their personal lives as well as for work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Canva gets slow when you are working with large, complex designs. I wish the search feature was more advanced for the icons and images, though it has gotten better over the last year.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva allows us to have low-cost, high-quality graphics to accompany all of our content and programs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take some online tutorials and then spread your wings and DESIGN! Have fun!

Not much maybe a few more free templates and easy share buttons

Creating easy marketing pieces
This is a product that you need!
What do you like best about the product?
If you do any kind of marketing, graphics, illustrations, etc. and whether or not you have someone in-house dedicated to marketing or not, this is a product that can really launch you forward by having each to use designs that help attract your customer and audience. It's functionality is great and you can finish a product with little to no experience!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much that I don't like. It seems easy to use and the free templates work well, too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business problems that we are solving include marketing to external and internal audiences as well as get our point across with much more ease. It's visual appeal makes people actually read what we put out there!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's easy to be cheesy with a lot of the graphics within the system, just be clear and consistent with your messaging.

What do you like best about the product?
The rapid ability of their developers to add things that you request. Canva is ALL about their customers and I use it daily on mobile or desktop.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to draw with a pen or stylus.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to create simple, appealing custom graphics without the time wasted in something with tons of options that you don’t need. Someone with no design experience can use it and thrive.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The free option is great; but with the added features of "Canva For Work", you can have team templates (HUGE time saver), team fonts, custom fonts (add in several of your own fonts that aren't in their database), and amazing resizing options. Their templates are only getting better (now searchable!) and the mobile app works for quick on the go posts. It doesn't require a lot of know-how, they lay it all out for you, but also give you a chance to customize things to your own liking, or make your own from scratch from a ton of design elements. There's no reason not to try out Canva, it's free unless you want added features, and it's been a great way to boost our design for our small organization, who doesn't have a large budget for Social Media/Marketing.
Great free tool for creating professional graphics
What do you like best about the product?
I can add my text to beautiful templates to create free professional-looking graphics, and brochures. It is also useful for creating Pinterest images to promote blog posts. It is easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some templates are not free and have to be paid for. Sometimes I can't find a template I like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can create professional images and graphics for my business without hiring a graphic designer.

I like that I can make different designs for basically anything! I’ve made so many invitations and fliers using this site.

Sometimes I can’t find what I’m looking for as far as designs go.

Benefits are that I can design everything on one website.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Canva is built for individuals who don't have a design background - yet, I am able to fake it and my work looks amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Downloading designs for print quality is sometimes difficult. I really want it to be a little more seamless and I'd use your print services function if it were cheaper and/or I could find a local vendor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva provides our department with the tools to fill the gaps that appear when you don't have a full time marketing staff.

Easily make banners, social media posts, posters, flyers, billboards, and so much more..

Some problems loading software, not fun to resize graphics when I need to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time efficient, fuels creativity, organized, branded, easy to collaborate as group. I love how you can put your brand colors, go to logos, and fully customize fonts, size, and format of everything you make on Canva. It takes very little experience and just a bit of design sense to make something look really great on Canva.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need to make social media graphics quickly, make a ton of other documents like posters, flyers, billboards, yearbook ads, etc... But want to find a software that isn't too complex, like Lightroom or InDesign, then Canva is definitely the right fit for you. I have experience with Lightroom and InDesign but am no expert and Canva is the solution for a software that is not too techniqual and offers templates and tons of resources like photos, animations, and more to help your design process go that much more smoothly.

What do you like best about the product?
I am not a graphic designer by any means. We have a freelancer we higher. But sometimes we need something super last minute and Canva makes it super easy to go in and create something with no stress!
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I have been totally pleased! There are so many great templates to choose from and they make it super easy to take those templates and customize them to look more original.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Last minute graphics that need to be made when we don't have time to wait on our freelancer.
