Versatile desing tool
What do you like best about the product?
I am not an expert in Desing but I started using it because of my current job. I have found out that Canva is an excellent tool for this purpose even for beginners like me! One of the think that I like the most is that I can use for free, which is really good since I just need it sometimes to create good presentations for my kids. Another quality of this tool is that is versatile and intuitive. It uses a drag and drop system. Also, it offers many graphics and images to add to your presentations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Just a phew thing that I started a couple of days a ago: It started showing some bugs or errors on the page. Also it would awesome if they can add more templates or backgrounds to their stock.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped me create visual attractive presentations for my kids to explain about any concept of science or math we were studying. Also, I have used it to create announcements for parents if they have to assist to any school event.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend this tool if you need to create a presentations, poster or others.
Simple & Beautiful Design!
What do you like best about the product?
I'm still learning the ins and outs of canva, but I like how incredibly intuitive it is to use. I'm not a terribly design-savvy person, but canva makes it easy to design great materials!
What do you dislike about the product?
I only use it every couple weeks, and I seem to have to re-learn how to use it each time. But that could just be me being forgetful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Lots of options for templates and sizes
- I love the font suggestions. The pairs of fonts work really nicely, and most of them are fonts I've never heard of nor would ever decide to use. But when I see them in templates, they pique my interest and eye.

Makes great marketing materials quick and easy- even for dummies!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the templates that they already have set up and categorized into every need that I have, and that I can easily share or print. It's also free for nonprofits!
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally you have to pay for a fancier template, but we've never had to do that before.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are getting beautiful marketing materials quickly and easily with a totally uncreative staff.

Don't hesitate. This is the best I've seen.

so many options! I love that it gives me templates to start with, or I can use a blank page. I can change the size without losing my design. I can upload graphics, set my style guide, set a logo, and more. I can download as a variety of different file types. I use this program for EVERYTHING.
What do you dislike about the product?
no affiliate program - would love to be compensated by sharing my love for Canva with others!

I run my entire small-business on canva (beyond the barre digital downloads) and it has been a huge help. everything is stored online!

experiment with it a bit. use the free version and then decide if you want the paid version.
Great for the non-designer
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use and the fact that popular sizes are built in.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the templates are not easily searchable. There are not a lot of free photos to use but that doesn't affect me much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am not a designer but I need nice pieces for daily use at work. With Canva I am able to fulfill our needs without ever opening InDesign or Photoshop.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great tool that is mostly free. If you have your own photos and graphics, you can use this without spending any money. It is a great tool and I couldn't work without it.
A lifesaver
What do you like best about the product?
I love that this program is web-based so that I can open up my designs anywhere!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to be able to save a couple more fonts in our branding info.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This has given me the opportunity to create graphics for communications quickly and without Adobe products which take me much more time. I love the ability to save in different formats, and that premium is free for nonprofits!

Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The templates and easy to search for pictures to use in my designs. I can use it on my Chromebook

Touch screen doesn't work and I have to get a mouse on my Chromebook.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working on designs with when I'm out of the office and on location working.

It's affordable and doesn't make you buy a bunch of add-on except for licensing pictures which is understandable.
Great Tool for a One Person Marcom Department!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Canva is so reasonably priced while not really scrimping on functionality! This is great for small organizations and non-profits!
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't say that I've found anything that I don't like just yet -- maybe that it does not have as wide a variety of funky fonts as I occasionally like to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a one-person marcom department for a school. While I have some experience with Adobe products, Canva makes it really easy to quickly design eye-catching materials for social media, our website, flyers, etc. I love that I can upload our logo and other branding elements to create a palette that is consistent with our style guide.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Canva allows you to try the platform for free for 30 days! It's definitely worth the trial to see if it will fit your needs. If you have a full-time, expert graphic designer on your team, then you probably don't need something 'else', but if you're a small shop, a design novice, or graphic design is one of those 'other tasks as assigned' then Canva is a great tool for you.

I love that you can choose to customize or use a template with any size documents.

I wish there were more font choices for designs. Maybe a few more script fonts to use? I haven't used their iPad app in a while, but last time I used it, it wasn't user friendly.

I manage lots of small business social media accounts and Canva saves me so much time with design. I use it with all my web clients!

A Useful Design Tool For Small Teams and Individuals
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Canva is its user-friendly approach to graphic design. There are a ton of templates and possible design layouts (some premium) that are customizable to fit your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are limited or nonexistent and make Canva a tool for only those want to creative relatively basic graphics and documents. For instance, the 'charts' feature does not allow you insert or upload or insert data. There are also some limitations to font transfer and modifying text.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva makes it easy for me, the person who manages most of my organization's social media, to churn out brand consistent materials pretty quickly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do not expect the functionality or features of, say, Adobe Acrobat. Do expect a cut-and-dry means of creating good quality marketing or organizational materials in a basic, easy way. Canva can also prove useful for personal tasks like resume design, letterheads, business cards, etc. The possibilities are not limitless, but there are many!
