Great aproach to design.

The fact you can create something you have in mind and not being a professional in the field.

Amazing tool for non-creatives
What do you like best about the product?
The templates make it so easy for someone without a creative eye to make beautiful graphic images. The free photos and illustrations make it fun to create as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
That you can't sort by free and paid templates. They finally offered a free photos search which is nice. But you have to pay attention to the bottom corner of templates and images to ensure you're selecting a free one if that's what you're looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been able to use it mostly for social media images. It has helped us create more of a brand with the content we put out.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It really is easy to create anything you want even when you don't feel creative! It makes our office look more professional when we use Canva to create our content.
Intuitive, beautiful interface makes creation a breeze
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is wonderful! I love how easy it is to create beautiful flyers and other creative projects. No knowledge of Photoshop is needed. I love the examples they provide of flyers, cards, business cards, etc. to inspire and enhance your own vision. The fonts are great too. I love how modern and on-trend my designs look using Canva.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that there's no filter to find the free graphics. When I search for clip art, I have to weed through a lot of $1 or "pro" options to find a freebie. I understand that Canva has to make money somehow, but it's disappointing that I can't upload my own fonts into the system without being a premium user. I just have to make do with what they already have if I don't want to pay a monthly fee.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I introduced my Office Operations team to Canva as a means to create beautiful, appealing flyers for our many office events. Previously, everyone used Word and flyers were a bit lackluster. Now we are able to whip up gorgeous, bold, unique flyers in a jiffy. The graphics are awesome and eye-catching. Employees have noticed too. Our flyers have made events all the more enticing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try. It's very easy to use, not to mention fun! Just make sure you know what's free and what's not, because at the end you will be prompted to pay before you download your design if you have premium elements in your design.
Easy to use for beautiful results
What do you like best about the product?
Canva's built in templates and open editing abilities make it easy to create beautiful documents for business or personal use. Need an invite for something? Use Canva. Need a business card? Use Canva. Need a poster? Use Canva. Enough said!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are tons of features in the paid version that are unavailable to free users -- as a small non-profit sport club, we wanted to be able to share branded templates, but didn't have resources to purchase paid accounts. This powerful tool could be available at multiple levels to increase it's use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick turnaround of creative assets without in-depth design training.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Even if you only use it for minor personal projects, Canva makes it so simple to do pretty much every design-y thing. Amp up your Insta-game. Create an invitation to your kid's birthday party.
Excellent tool for quick design
What do you like best about the product?
The wide variety of templates make it easy to make graphics for my library events. It is also very intuitive to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of versatility and the lack of formatting options in text boxes. It can be frustrating at times when you’re uses to Photoshop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We no longer have a graphic designer on staff, so Canva allows me to quickly make professional looking graphics and even materials for print.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Every nonprofit should sign up for the free nonprofit account. It is an invaluable tool.
I recommend it to everyone I know
What do you like best about the product?
User-friendly, seemingly endless options of designs and templates, I appreciate that you can download as an image (JPG or PNG) and as a PDF (standard or print).
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had some bugs with inserting images, specifically sometimes it tries to insert a picture as a background when really I want it to be a new layer that sits on top of the background. The scrolling feature can be tedious and at times even fails to load. I also dislike that the alignment doesn't have rules, it has guidelines but they sometimes align strangely.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Created image assets with consistent branding & design quickly, which saves a lot of time and effort. You can share designs and have other users make changes so that others can collaborate.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend Canva to everyone I know! Not only is it easy to use, but it is also very fun! The best way to learn how to use it is to keep practicing and playing with it. Their blogs are also quite informative and can teach you more about graphic design tips.
Great team design tool
What do you like best about the product?
Canva allows us to create custom graphics that adhere to various brand standards.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many of the icons available are only available in black. It would be nice if users could use customized colors on all of the icons.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva's team functionality makes it easy for our team to collaborate on various projects without having to email different iterations. This functionality also ensures that our team is working on the most up to date version.
CANVA IS THE ABSOLUTELY BEST THING EVER.
What do you like best about the product?
CANVA IS A LIFESAVER! It's the best design tool I've ever interacted with. I use it constantly with every single client I work with in some way or another. It's free, simple and really has its users at the forefront with all of their features and templates. The pre-designed and perfectly sized templates alone are worth signing up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not one thing. I absolutely have nothing bad to say about this GODSEND of an application.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva saves my life when it comes to graphic design. I've noticed I've become a better designer because of Canva, and instinctually know how to bring different elements together to make a project, post, or document POP.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
USE CANVA AS SOON AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN! If you're curious about design, or you just want to make a mock-up of anything, Canva is the simple and perfect solution for your design needs.
The best online image maker
What do you like best about the product?
When I am having a tough time creating an image I enjoy browsing through the premade templates for inspiration. I also sometimes use a premade template as a foundation to the design I have in mind.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is little to dislike about Canva. If I were to say any dislikes, it would be that all the nicer templates/photos are pay to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used Canva for a quick image that is needed for social media. It is my go to when there isn't a dire need for the full fledged image editor.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is definitely a quick fix when you need to make an image fast. If you do require more intricate details or a robust image, it's best to invest in a proper image editor.
