Custom Graphics
What do you like best about the product?
ease of use, Templates that help with sizes and ability to upload pictures.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't use custom fonts, I have downloaded special fonts but can't use in this program.

Makes my volunteer work so easy!
What do you like best about the product?
I use Canva for my volunteer work for a local cat rescue. I have to make last minute posts for Instagram and Facebook all of the time. Having Canva at my fingertips all of the time makes life so easy! They have great free templates and the ability to change them easily. A nice selection of graphics and fonts also.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be limiting and some things you have to pay for. As a 100% volunteer organization run on donations, we do not have the ability to be paying for items and templates, so I make it work with the free things! Sometimes, depending on the graphic or font, things shift...which can be annoying, but I usually figure out how to fix the problem by switching or deleting graphics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy access at my fingertips to make great social media graphics! I have been able to quickly create posts and get them up. Something that the rescue was lacking before!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great product for quick creation of graphics! Amazing free product available with upgrades if you want it.
Canva is an easy to use online design program
What do you like best about the product?
I love the templates that are included with Canva. I can select a template and edit it to design whatever I want. I love that they have the preset templates for social media sites as well. No more googling what size images I need to create. Canva does it for me!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the paid images were slightly less expensive to purchase. Or that Canva offered sales like "Buy 4 images for $1" instead of charging $1 per image.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Canva to create flyers for our office. I use it to create birthday cards for employees as well. Instead of having to go to a store to purchase a card I can create on on Canva and print it out on cardstock in the office.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Play around with re-designing a few of the pre-set templates to see how to use Canva at first. Don't try to be a perfectionist with your first design and reference some of the templates to get an idea of what colors look good together and what fonts look good together.

I upgraded to canva for work for the sole purpose of being able to resize a project instantly. Countless times I’ve designed something and need the same design in a different size for another platform.

Nothing! From the text templates to the amount of objects to use it’s abdundant

I wish there were a few more features and that when editing I could right click as opposed to clicking the menu for everything

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I don’t have to wait for my design team to turn-around a small graphic... their time can be spent on larger projects! I get to be creative and create the exact image I had envisioned. This helps to support blog posts, social campaigns, and content when I’m in a jam and need something done ASAP.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. For a free tool, you can’t ask for much more than what they provide. We are even looking into the paid subscription bc it’s helped so much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’m able to crank out unique imagery, I infographics, jazz up internal reports... the benefits are related to time saving. It’s nice to give non-designers the ability to create beautiful images.

Have your design team check it out and get their buy-in.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that there are many useful features that are free and that you can pay to have it remember your branding font and colors! I like the ease of use and that I can easily manipulate and copy graphics to create content quickly! There are also features to create business cards, slide shows, documents, etc. I also like that everything is saved online so I don't have to use up valuable space on my computer.
What do you dislike about the product?
That many of the graphic components are no longer free. However, it is easy to upload clipart and other images if needed! It can be inconvenient when downloading multiple images at once. You either need to download as a zip or download them individually. It is also inconvenient that they automatically go to downloads and you can't save them directly to the file you want. Minor inconveniences, but does take extra time! I also wish that PNGs could be downloaded with a transparent background without being a paid user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easily creating graphics that are perfect for creating online engagement. I use them for everything from engagement posts, Facebook cover photos, promotional material, and more!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend using Canva for making easy graphics that can be shared across devices. You can also make projects public so that others can use it as well. I find that more complicated projects are better done with other programs, but this is definitely a great resource that I use almost daily!

The ease of creating marketing material. With a little bit of design knowledge you can go a long way using Canva.

I wish the mobile app was easier to use.

There is a learning curve at first, but once you get the hang of it it is very easy to use. Cannot live without it.

the most beautiful or complex images need to be paid in order to have access to them; such as icons, moldings, illustrations, backgrounds, etc.

with this tool it is possible to create several images necessary for managing social networks in a short period of time
