If you don't know much about design, this is your tool
What do you like best about the product?
All the templates and how easy it is to use this solution. From business cards to powerpoint presentations, possibilities are endless. I would say that for community management it is straight up perfect. You also have an image bank link to it and you can purchase assets for $1 in order to make any design truly your own.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you are a real designer, this solution can be limited, but that's pretty much it. Even then, you have space to create and you can start any design from a blank canvas (where the names come from I suppose).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For any quick presentation, I need to put together, as well as any social posts. It saves me literally hours, and all of my work looks really professional, I always got good reactions from my customers or my superiors.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try, it is free and the paying option for company completely worth it. You can implement all kind of rules across your company to keep some kind of sense to the brand image (as you can determine the fonts, colours and upload your logos and other documents and templates if you need to)
Create Quality Graphics for Free!
What do you like best about the product?
Low cost, templates for social graphics as well as other marketing collateral
What do you dislike about the product?
Which more of the icons were free and the themed templates were better categorized
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lack of in-house graphic designer; ability to create customized graphics for social use with no cost
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Would definitely consider it if your company lacks budget to spend on creative assets
Canva is an awesome platform!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the pre-designed tenplates. It makes my job easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they had a way to categorize searching for templates by size not just by category.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making creatives without having to use a graphic designer fulltime.
I am a lover of Canva
What do you like best about the product?
The amazing amount of templates that come preloaded on the website. Canva allows me to design quickly and gives me lots of great ideas.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are quite a few bugs that come up within Canva - loading errors and image sizing problems. I think the UIUX needs work (however this does not deter me from using it). I also wish that there were some more advanced design capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are doing 90% of our graphic design through Canva and love it. We are also, as a Marketing Team, collaborating through the platform - which is awesome.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is the perfect product for small business owners and amateur designers. I think Canva makes it possible for anyone to be a designer.
Simple easy alternative to Photoshop
What do you like best about the product?
Quick and easy to use interface, Works from any computer with an internet connection. Great design options and templates to use. You can learn proper design by use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited advanced features that may be needed on occasion. Better menus and saving features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick graphics creation without the need for alot of training or understanding.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is great to simple quick ready made graphics or advertising ideas. Logos and social media headers are super simple and very professional.
Absolute must-have for marketers
What do you like best about the product?
So many templates already sized to popular needs, great fonts and so many ways to customize!

Really can’t think of much I don’t like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’m able to create custom graphics quickly for my clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend this to everyone.
Perfect design tool for non-designers
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is an intuitive, easy tool to use for the non-design professional to make simple designs. It is perfect for resizing photos, creating social posts, & collages.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more free designs- stickers, frames, graphics, icons.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of taking the time of our professional designers to create simple images or resize images, a non-professional can easily use Canva. The ROI on the tool is phenomenal considering how it gives back the time of designers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is perfect for the social media team.
Cool app
What do you like best about the product?
Can make so many creative documents and they provide free pics. Easy to use with CinchShare
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be overwhelming, not easy to create from start to finish. Could be more specific. Not all designs are free. Time consuming
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Use for Thirty-One business, and advertise products on social media. Works great for this!
Easy application for simple graphics creation and storage
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it stores all my designs online so I can access them anytime, anywhere. I like that there are tons of free images, graphics and fonts available through the program, or I can upload my own. I love that it comes with a million free design templates that I can use as-is or as a starting point for my own design.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is extremely little flexibility on what you can do with text. Honestly, you can do more in MS Word, or a free phone app like TextGram. I also think their filters tool is very basic. I have cooler filters on free image editing apps on my phone! But I can't create large complex posters on my phone, so I use Canva. I like that they have tons of free clipart-type graphics and frames, but they are really inflexible when it comes to things like resizing. You can't change the thickness or the aspect ratio of a frame, for example. You can only resize.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't have access to my Adobe Creative Suite right now, due to technical difficulties, so I'm using Canva for all graphic design. I love that it's free, but it is pretty basic. I have to get really creative to get what's in my head onto the screen, considering I'm used to using CS.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's free, you might as well try it. Adobe Spark is another one I use, also free and web-based, but with about the same amount of limitations.
Inexpensive Design Product
What do you like best about the product?
Canva helps people who don't have graphic design experience create great graphics
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the unpaid version allowed you to save fonts and colors
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
social media images, print material design, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you work for a non-profit, sign up for the free non-profit version. Name your designs something easy to remember and delete obsolete designs. This makes it easier to find designs.
