I love using Canva for quick mock ups, logos and social media posts.

They block transparent background for free users, but the product is worth buying as you save on freelancing graphic designers for small jobs, let alone how quick and easy it is

I love that it has tons of templates to choose from. it has so many designs and fonts, i really feel like a graphic designer when i use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
it's a little complex to understand, especially the framing and backgrounds, but after reading lots of faqs i was able to figure it out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we are solving the problem of not having a graphic artists or designer in home, or a social media graphics person. by using canva i can do all the social media graphics myself and it looks super professional.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a fabulous product to make social media graphics and other call out boxes. There are tons of pre-made layouts that are super easy to customize. I've never worked with graphic designing before and I love canva.

What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love Canva! It is feature rich with loads of templates to choose from. It's very easy to use, yet the end products look very professional! It's great for beginners as well!
What do you dislike about the product?
I absolutely love Canva! I have no negative comments about using it/designing on this platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When it comes to creating digital/print marketing material, Canva has all of my needs sorted in terms of designing! The end result is beautiful designs from scratch or from their wide selection of templates available.

Great for beginners with a lot of customizable preloaded templates that is sure to add that touch of professionalism to any design! Highly recommended!
No Design Knowledge Needed
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is a very easy tool to use to design ads, banners, emails, invitations, etc. I like that there are lots of different templates to choose from and customize. The drag and drop function makes it easy to customize any design.
What do you dislike about the product?
While there are many types of files to choose from, I don't like that you can't customize a file size. Sometimes the stock files don't fit the specific dimensions that are required for a project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When our graphic design team is too busy, Canva helps me to take some of the work off their plate. I can turnaround a design project relatively quickly using Canva.

What do you like best about the product?
Canva is extremely easy to adopt. Other tools such as photo shop and adobe require a lot more training and trial/error prior to mastering the tool. With Canva you can create customized artwork for anything and everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
Canva doesn't allow you to save which Canva images/artwork you have selected in your designs to a folder. For example, if I search for "computer" Canva will bring up hundreds of "computer" images. If I find one I like, I select it and import it into my design. However, if I open up a new design and I want to use that same "computer" image, I have to search for it all over again through Canva's image database. Some of these images can be hard to find again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Canva for all our design needs from digital artwork on our website, emails, blog posts, social media feeds, and for our paper collateral on handouts, invitations, info graphics, and signage. Furthermore, Canva recommends correct dimensions for the design(s) you are creating, so it takes the guess work out of having to figure out the right dimensions/pixels allowing you to create quality artwork the first time around.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Canva is free to use, so why not give it a try. Canva makes their money on the artwork you purchase from them. If you would rather not spend money, they also offer many free images as well.
I'm not a designer, but....
What do you like best about the product?
I'm a writer and work with designers, but Canva makes it so simple to create terrific looking materials that I've been doing a lot on my own. They are always adding new templates, like business cards. And they size properly for all social media including Instagram, Twitter, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally the TEXT feature gets a little weird and it can be frustrating. It's less troublesome if I use my laptop rather than my phone.

It allows me to create cool marketing pieces quickly.
The ideal solution to quickly make great looking designs
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is such an easy tool to use, it has a wide range of free fonts, images and the ability to easily drag and drop, resize, change colours and transparency, allowing us to create professional looking designs and content (especially for social media) in a matter of minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much to dislike, however it would be great if you could export the design with a transparent background on the free version ;)

It saves us a vast amount of time in design work, allowing us to quickly make eye catching content and react to trending subjects on social media with professional looking designs in a matter of minutes.
Easy, Intuitive Design Software
What do you like best about the product?
I think one of my favorite things about Canva is the dynamic resizing. Sometimes the images need a few tweaks, but it makes me feel more confident outsourcing some of the design work for our social posts to a team member who doesn't have Adobe skills.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few limitations that take some getting used to, like not really being able to add a gradient. Additionally, it would be nice if Canva branched out to include larger format type visual posts like infographics or presentations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to using Canva, everyone in our company would come to me when they needed something "design-y" or "pretty". While I don't mind helping, the volume of requests became problematic. Now, I can just show someone how to use Canva and they can make what they want and it frees me up to work on other tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Canva is a low cost to free tool that fills a very certain need. You can make it stretch a little bit, but it is best for social style posts. There are other tools out there that include more robust tools for things like infographics or brochures. Best part of Canva is that it is so easy to teach others!
Couldn't be any simpler!
What do you like best about the product?
I'm a trained graphic designer but designing is not currently a part of my daily tasks so I don't have Photoshop/Illustrator installed on my work laptop. So I always turn to Canva for any quick design work I need! Canva makes it so simple to design beautiful email banners and other documents needed. The templates shared on there are also super helpful in starting a collateral right away.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think we can't currently size down the images or set what resolution we want them to be exported to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva saves our in-house graphic designer hours of work from working on simple graphics that other people in the team could've done themselves if they have the tool. And that's Canva for us! Once we have the right font and colour set, it's pretty much endless what the team could do.

Empower your team to start using Canva by setting the right colours and branding style and let them run with it! It saves hours for the graphic designer and allows your team to be creative in their approaches too!
