High-quality design for everyone
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the design templates are high-quality, for the most part. There are enough options that most people can find something that will fit their needs. It's incredibly easy for non-designers to figure out how to do things, and the tools are easy to use. The design elements that aren't free are still very reasonably priced.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little frustrating for those who are experienced with design software to get a good result. Because Canva is simple to use for non-designers, there are some things that are hard to make it do. There are some tools that I'd like to see added, but I understand that keeping it simple is the goal. I think I was trying to draw a line or a shape, and instead had to build the shape with a series of narrow rectangles as lines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have clients who can't afford to be reaching out to a designer for every social media image that they need, so I've been able to help them meet their goals by creating professional, branded Canva templates. So in this way I'm able to keep my design clients (who still do hire me for larger projects) but help them have high-quality design in a way that fits their budget.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it! It's free and it's very easy to get started. Canva for Work isn't free, but that's a great solution for small businesses to make their own graphics easily and in a cost-effective way.
Best tool for designing infographics and social media post
What do you like best about the product?
Help me to create social media post that engages. I like the design option it gives for twitter post, twitter header, LinkedIn cover, facebook cover, blogging, and ebooks etc. Also its very user-friendly and easy to use tool anyone can create a amzing design using canva.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most of the design which re good are paid. Also download as pdf is not available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use this tool for creating infographics for blogs and create social media post. Also it help me to design our social media header and cover images as it already provides the dimension and only need to edit the images. I use this tool for social media and blogging and it's working perfectly.

I can use canva for meetings, get-togethers, parties or just general advertisements.

Can be a time suck if you don't have clear ideas
What do you like best about the product?
I like this platform for letting me create images that I wouldn't be able to otherwise, not being as amazing with photoshop as I would like to be. They have a TON of options for everything you'd like to create, whether it's a social media image to share on Facebook and Twitter or a cover photo or a blog image to attach to a new article. Plus the fonts and various layouts that they have for free are pretty extensive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, you can create an image that looks a whole lot like everyone else's images. So if you don't have a clear idea of what you want your branding or image to look like, you can easily end up using something that looks like everyone else.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is a quick and easy way to come up with some images to share on social media or to create a blog image. I use it mostly to create reminder announcements or shout outs that don't need a ton of thought.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out and see if you like the results. There's no harm in that since it's free. If you really like it, there are premium offerings as well, such as new layouts or font types.
Canva Design and Usage
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that you have access to a large variety of templates which you can customize to your own needs. It's also great that I can either use my own photos to include in my designs or upload from a large variety of images the tool provides.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not a very user-friendly tool and takes a lot of time trying things out until they work. Very time consuming. Especially when trying to edit a template the features are often not very clear or easy to be found.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use the tool to create invitations and newsletter templates that are share with our customers. I also use the tool for personal purposes such as invitations and thank you notes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go through the training sessions/use support as much as possible to be able to effectively use the tool.

The interface is extremely user friendly!

The search feature could use improvement; the search feature applies to external photos, not the photos that come with templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not having a designated Graphic Designer is difficult, but with Canva, we don't need a graphic designer

Great Graphic Maker
What do you like best about the product?
I love the flexibility and ease this program comes with. Makes very attractive graphics and is way too user friendly!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of pro features and sometimes very basic graphics are considered pro making it challenging to find everything quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We make a ton of social media posts, info graphics, etc.

Its a great place to start experimenting with graphic design.
Design for All
What do you like best about the product?
The mobile apps put graphic design to another level. Designs sync from mobile to desktop so you can start a design on one and finish on another. You don't have to know what you are doing with the templates!
What do you dislike about the product?
The team management is a little wonky/ not intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can collaborate quickly on designs and the ability to save branding colors, fonts, and templates means that anyone can create collateral.
Beautiful designs in minutes and always available
What do you like best about the product?
Canva has a lot of incredible features I love using all of them but I can say my favorite one is ready to use templates (aka templates). Canva always has an amazing template that matches my design style and needs and the best part is I can customize them by using my Brand colors and favorite fonts. In addition to this, the complete free resources gallery full of very useful icons, stickers, pictures, shapes, lines, and dynamic graphs. Also, they have a photo gallery at very affordable prices. I cannot forget to mention that Canva is an ONLINE tool, so my designs go with me wherever I go.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took me a time to decide what I really dislike of the tool, because overall I am very happy with the features and probably the only thing I really don't like is that even when the tool saves automatically your work, sometimes when I am working in something that needs time and have to leave for some minutes, to take my lunch for example, or really just close the Mac for a second, and surprisingly my changes are not there or there's a bad connection and I have to refresh the browser and last changes are not there. This happened to me few times but could be frustrating, especially if you are not very familiarized with cloud tools like Canva.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Basically, all my designing needs are solved with Canva, from a simple logo to my pics for the everyday posting on social media also the collaterals, everything related to design is there and is what I need to support commercial activities. I would like to mention one special day that Canva helped me to overpass the customer expectations. I was at the customer premises delivering a product when the printing services called me to request an unexpected change to the "final design version 10" of some business cards the client needed for the next day. My computer was not with me and came back to my office at 6pm was not an option. So I just requested my client for a computer with internet, log in into Canva, did the changes and sent the PDF ready to print in minutes. My client could not believe I solved his problem and he got his cards as expected. This is probably the most exciting feature of Canva, my designs are with me anywhere!

This tool is the best if you need to create hundreds of designs for social media posting, it has layouts with the perfect size and beautiful templates ready to use.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to layer backgrounds, designs, and texts for the pop up ads I make. The pictures and more clip art looking features are such a high quality. I feel that I am able to use the images and font for our business's website that get the information across in a professional way.
What do you dislike about the product?
The text styles with the set shapes feel limited. I am not sure how long Canva has been around but I would love to see more updates, for example, saying when our business will be closed for holiday hours, or a snow day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A way to create information for brief periods of time that stand out on our website. Otherwise when we just update the website, customers can't tell when something is new or if it's always been there.
