Amazing for the graphically challenged and for quick image editing
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use of this platform is amazing. You honestly don't need a tutorial even though I believe they give you one. You can create all sorts of media with it and it auto-populates the correct size for commonly used sizes - presentations, infographics, and social media. Additionally, they supply tons of free stock photos and illustrations (icons) for you to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
They are a newer company and they still have some things to figure out. A lot of the shapes cannot be reformatted in certain directions and that means you can use them in your design. There is no way to sort out free photos and icons from the ones you have to pay for which means you have to scroll through tons to find a free version of what you are looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We create a lot of our content with Canva. It is just so easy and everything is stored in one place for everyone to access. I would love it if more than one person could make changes at once (like Google Docs). We make social media posts and ads in seconds with the easy to use image layouts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This a great and easy to use tool that you should be aware of even if you have a graphic designer on staff.
I Am Awful At Design and I Can Use Canva
What do you like best about the product?
Its easy and I use it for almost everything. Everything is drag and drop they have a lot of free images as well that I use to spice up presentations and reports. You can also create brand colors so when designing things for different clients I am not entering in number codes the whole time. The same thing with fonts.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't get too technical. I think it is great if you don't know how to use photoshop or editor but the more complex you get the harder it is to work with. Also two people can not go in and edit the same project.
It can also be very frustrating sometimes. Getting a good quality photo to fit in the right spot can be tricky, it just takes time and patience.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I made receipts with it, presentations, ads, and everything in between. It is really cheap and a great way to send out professional looking projects. They have custom made templates were you can just drop your photos in. They also have preset sizes that are up to date for making ads.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's cheap and easy to use, there is no replacing Canva for me.

What do you like best about the product?
I love everything Canva has to offer! The mobile app, the frequent updates to layouts and offerings, the end results. I use Canva for everything business related and even sneak it into creating invitations for my personal life.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally Canva's mobile app will freeze or close while working on a project. It also can overheat my iPhone or move slowly. But the online system is amazing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Canva to create newsletters, profiles, business cards, flyers, and pretty much all of my marketing materials. Clients are constantly complimenting the end results.

The premium membership allows access to terrific content, but is not necessary to use.

Some limitations on how you can use the elements in the design but overall pretty easy to tell it what you need to do.

It's a near flawless system that works how you need it to work. It jumpstarts your creative energy and allows for even the most novice among you to work on a design without having to go to training and development. It keeps the laws of design in mind for you as you work and guides you through the process of making something beautiful.

I love how easy it is to design marketing material without having much background in design. There are tons of templates to choose from and plenty of free designs to help you get started.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app is pretty glitchy and hard to work with. It's nice to be able to access the designs on my phone but difficult to edit them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to design my own, professional looking marketing material without paying a professional. No matter what kind of ad I'm running, I know I will be able to find a simple design template to use for Instagram, Facebook, fliers, or email campaigns.

Even if you don't have any previous experience with marketing or design, Canva practically does the work for you and all you need is the information you want to share with the public.

I like that it has a lot of drag-and-drop design features. I also enjoy that there are many free resources and layouts to choose from. There are so many images and templates to help you reach your envisioned design.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it were easier to resize some elements. The circle shapes, for example, can only be stretched from the corners. I wish I were able to move each 'side' individually. I also wish they allowed canvas resizing in the free option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to create designs rather quickly to help spruce up our content. We realize that having visually appealing content is more enjoyable to our customers - so it helps us provide a better experience overall.

Browse through their layouts - you'll get a ton of ideas for your own creations.
Quality software, poor support.
What do you like best about the product?
Canva has a lot of great features for marketers like myself that makes it easy for me to put together digital marketing materials for our website, blog, social media, email marketing, or other digital marketing content (ebooks/whitepapers/etc.). Overall Canva is very intuitive and does what I need it to.
What do you dislike about the product?
Canva makes it impossible to contact support directly. Their support knowledgebase answers some questions, but nowhere do they list a phone number/email address. Even on their main website, they have no 'Contact Us' page or form anywhere. It is extremely frustrating if you are looking for answers and just want to speak to a real human.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva provides me with an affordable tool for developing digital marketing materials. The price is reasonable, there are lots of free materials within the software, and it's ease-of-use makes it a real time-saving tool.

Great (freemium) software for creating posts for social media
What do you like best about the product?
Canva's preset formatting makes it incredibly easy to put together great looking social posts on Facebook, Instagram Stories, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.

We use Canva for Pinterest, Instagram stories, and Facebook. We create templates for our content categories and then go in and create our posts using new creative.

Create templates for each social media handle and each content category so you can streamline the creative process for your post designs.
Canva is the Photoshop for non-designers

I am able to easily create high-quality images without any need or skills for photoshop

Sometimes it has trouble saving my images or uploading. It's not really an issue, I just refresh

What I like most about Canva is that it is not a software for desktop version, this brings a certain advance and brings excellent benefits as we can quickly access the web and do everything we want to do without waiting for long periods of time to load each of the components of the PC software, I still think that the web version is much faster and although we can not access it when we do not have an internet connection, likewise it is still the best for all the good features it represents in its interface.

I do not like that this program has such ugly designs, I have seen that Canva is almost free software that has prices and I think that is the reason why they do not offer so many variety of colors or designs to be applied in presentations or slides. perform. This software is either cheap or have to raise its subscription price a little, they should implement more variety for the good of the program, so that it is better considered and more people are using the software for better purposes of work and implementation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The use of this program has benefited a lot in my company, because we have managed to make very fast slides and present them instantly without any interruption or any error. This program is excellent and has yielded results immediately without waiting for long periods of time.

I would recommend this software to companies that are interested in trying new methods of working with the presentations and slides they make, and those that want to try new designs and colors. Since with this software, they will fulfill those requirements.
