Canva is my favorite graphic design software
What do you like best about the product?
I love the amount of free images and how easy it is to search among the images for what you need. I prefer searching within Canva for images rather than finding my own. I also like to incorporate my own images with the stock photos available in Canva.
What do you dislike about the product?
The hardest part is sizing an existing photo to fit the frame of the graphic. Also, there is a learning curve with the editing process, but it was worth the time investment for the resulting superior product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Canva to create images and collages for marketing purposes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
if you need to create collages this is a great tool. There are a lot of free images, but you can also purchase images to fit your needs. I had some trouble with saving different versions as I made changes - the collage kept reverting to the previous version.
Easy to use basic image editing service
What do you like best about the product?
It's simple and quick to use. Great for quick image edits!
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be a hassle if you're making more complicated designs with lots of image elements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When you don't want to go to the creative team just to do a simple resize, Canva is the answer!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need to make simple and quick edits, try Canva out.
AWESOME design tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy and intuitive it is to use. There are hundreds of pre loaded designs you can edit or you can create totally new designs with very little effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't change the dimensions of a design once you begin without signing up for one of the paid plans.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multiple people can have editing abilities on a design so it makes team work and design super simple. Also the ability to have the design saved and go back and make edits/changes at a later date is great.
An excellent, easy -to-use design tool
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy how easy it is to create beautiful imagery. It's also convenient that they have pre-sized options for everything from Facebook posts to wedding invitations. I also really like the overall style of the templates they offer. All of them are very sleek, modern, and fun.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much, but if they offered more option to download the material such as PSD format (not sure how possible that is) that would be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating and editing graphics for clients, usually for websites. I realized the benefits of the how easy it is to use. It's a great alternative if you need to make something quick and simple, but don't really need the complexity of Photoshop.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you feel like Photoshop is overwhelming, you just don't want to commit to an account, or if you just need to make a simple graphic for an email. a website, or am invitation; this is a great design option.
Great and easy to use tool for professional images
What do you like best about the product?
I love the templates available for use. They are easy to use as is or modify to make exactly what I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a major dislike, but the bigger the stock photo library could be - the better!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my role, I am able to quickly make images without having to request time from a designer colleague. Save us all time in the long run.
Canva Review
What do you like best about the product?
Canva has plenty of templates to draw inspiration from so that you can modify them and make them your own.
What do you dislike about the product?
Working for a nonprofit limits me on the premium options on Canva which in turn limits my experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business problem I am solving is the lack of graphics posted on social media. Canva allow me to create graphics easily and quickly so that I can draw more attention to my posts.
Best Free Design Program EVER
What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that the pro account is so easy to use and is so budget friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Items sometimes shift from designing platform to PDFs. There are some quirks that happen, but given the free to minimal cost, it's great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Design! We are a non-profit working on a minimal income, so we are unable to afford the Adobe Cloud or a Mac-based office. For my work, all of our design needs are met via Canva.
Canvas is my main graphic maker
What do you like best about the product?
There are so many options. You can make graphics that are presized according to what site your using it on. No guessing and having to resize. They provide so many premade graphics you can add your personal touch to. They allow you to save it under whatever quality you prefer. The free options are also very nice and just as good in quality as the pricier ones. Both categories carry some great options .
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see the same tempates in every size. Sometimes I'll find one I really like on a Facebook banner but I can't make one for Twitter. So if I want to cross promote I can't have matching graphics .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to create eye appealing graphics thst look elegant and fun. It gives me a creative touch to my advertising. It also helps my budget with the free options . I can't wait for the app to come out. I'm on the waiting list.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The same template on each size.
Ideal for polished designs without design software
What do you like best about the product?
Canva has hundreds of easy-to-use layouts that are free, or paid options that are also really cheap. There is a design to fit template you're looking for, from postcards/invites to social media posts, to flyers, resumes and logos. Its a marketer's saviour if you need to make a polished design piece in a pinch.
I also love their "Your Brand" Section, where you can upload your colours, fonts and logos to easily create designs that comply with brand standards.
The user friendly-ness of this program, and its cloud based solution, makes it ideal for anywhere, anytime designing.

What do you dislike about the product?
If you're used to the Adobe Suite (like me) you can get a bit frustrated with the lack of design features and abilities. Canva is ideal for a basic design but can be very cumbersome when you try to do something more complex and intricate. The solution is definitely geared towards people that have a great eye for design but not necessarily the skills to complete their vision using other software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love using canva for quick and flashy social media posts, when we find out about something with short notice - or if we have a 1-off post that isn't part of an existing campaign. Canva has also been my go to for creating invites before we had a event management platform in place. I still use canva to help created my printed invites for events. Because of the mostly free features of this product, my company is able to have high quality designs with low cost. Love it!
Side note, I also use Canva for my personal resume - its great to be able to access it from anywhere and make quick edits.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely give it a try! You can get lost in some of the great templates that Canva offers, which follow a lot of current design trends.

Having access to create signs for our blog posts without needing a graphic designer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would love to see designs within a series so I can create consistent design regardless of the size.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We now do not have to bother our graphic designer with small requests when we want to add color to our blog posts.
