Easy to use for one-woman marketing teams
What do you like best about the product?
As someone who isn't as familiar with design software and regularly fills the plates of two freelance graphic designers, I'm very thankful for the regularly updated social media templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I'm thankful for the consistently updated inventory for social graphics, I do wish we had a larger variety to choose from year round.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm a one-woman marketing team that outsources all of a medium-sized companies design needs to two (pricey) designers. It's helpful when I'm able to use an app for social media posts easily and quickly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
USE THIS APP! Whether you're a one-woman team, working for a nonprofit, or trying to stay within budget on a project -- Canva fits all your quick design needs!
Great design program for those who don't like Photoshop!
What do you like best about the product?
So simple and easy to use. Lots of flexibility for a free online program, especially if you don't have the time, patience, or money for a program like Photoshop or Illustrator. Love the free photos, icons, premade designs, fonts, and other complementary options and flexibility in the free program. I have never tried Canva for business yet (their paid membership), but I've heard great things about their paid program as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when you save PDFs for worksheets or documents, the quality isn't the best or as good as it was when you originally designed it in the program. I've downloaded Facebook covers and then uploaded them to my FB, only to see that it's uploading at a lower quality image. It would also be great to have an option to upload your own fonts, just in case your business or website has specific styles they need for graphics and photos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva has helped me easily create graphics for my social media channels for both of my jobs, and it's especially become a lifesaver for creating social graphics such as Pinterest and Facebook for my blog.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're new to graphic design and don't want to spend money and time purchasing and learning Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator, I highly recommend starting with Canva. They have plenty of free fonts, photos, templates, and preset designs to help you get started with your graphic design journey for whichever purpose or business you need it for.

Canvas is so easy to use. The results are stunning! I tried photoshop and it was too complicated. Canvas is the graohic design solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
No complaints with this product. Easy and inexpensive.

Be a designer without title...
What do you like best about the product?
I made several designs with already designed images. No Premium is required for great results. However, the Premium option gives me many design advantages. I have made most of the design in the company with Canva. It's just great!!!
What do you dislike about the product?
I had some problems with loading images and sometimes the page has slow errors, I do not think it is my laptop because I have already sent it to review. But everything else is fine, it's very easy and fun to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
You no longer need to hire so many designers to do the quick and easy job you can do canva. Good designs that my company still does not know that I have made them. This does not replace the work of a designer but it does make life easier!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
In my company I use it a lot when I need to do a very fast design without having to contact a graphic designer. I recommend it for how easy it is, even my son uses this tool at his school.
Graphic Design For Dummies- in the best way!
What do you like best about the product?
Very user-friendly. It's quick to learn and easy to create great looking graphics quickly. I also like that it's really easy to copy a graphic and do a quick update. The range of size templates available is awesome as well as the ability to create a custom size for whatever you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the search function gets a little glitchy and it won't pull up the free options that you know are there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Especially on social media where graphics are much more eye-catching than text only, Canva makes it really easy to create great looking graphics quickly and easily. The posts get more attention and interaction.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are tons of options and flexibility even with the free version. The learning curve for this program is nearly non-existent so it's very quick for people to jump in and just start using. It's definitely worth looking into and trying!
Makes Me Feel Like a Designer
What do you like best about the product?
I love the template options and that there are pre sized projects for all my needs, such as making a book cover, instagram post, or facebook ad. Also, I love that I can make professional looking graphics without having to have a lot of experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Whenever I pick a template with several lines of text with different formats, I can't get the text to move. For instance, if the template has small text above big text, I wasn't able to make the bigger text be on top instead. Also, I wish there were more free options for images.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Canva to promote my book online in social media platforms by creating images and ads. The pre sized boards are especially useful.

So easy to use, amazing templates, gets the job done! This is the best way for non-designers to create beautiful graphic design pieces.

Wish there was a better function for adding lines to designs. They are too think as of now!

Take advantage of folders and templates.
Free is good, pro is better
What do you like best about the product?
I LOVE how user friendly Canva is and how useful it can be as a free design tool. I recently bought the Canva for Work/pro version and it does come with a lot of useful features, but I haven't yet decided whether or not I can get enough use out of it to justify the cost.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pro version is pretty expensive at $13/month, and some of the nicer images cost money, but there is SO much you can do for free, that's hardly a downfall.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva provides quick, professional-quality graphics with very little learning curve. You can't get cheaper than free, and many of it's tools and features are available without buying into the pro version.
Elegant & easy graphics for social media
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is a great tool to make quick but professional graphics when I'm away from Photoshop or other software. I can use it when all I have with me is my chromebook.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that it would show me what the resolution is while editing. I often forget, and have to open canva again in another tab to double-check the resolution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva helps me to create quick graphics for social media such as blog posts headers, event headers, or facebook link images.

If you're not a graphic designer, or you don't have your heavy professional tools with you (Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign), Canva is a great user-friendly web-based tool to make quick but elegant and professional looking graphics for social media, invitations, e-newsletters, etc.
Canva is Easy to Use and Great for Social Media Posts
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how intuitive Canva is. It's very easy to get started using templates and designs to create images for social media, emails, and more -- very quickly. There are a lot of free designs, images and other graphics to take advantage of, but even their higher quality items are only a dollar a piece. This enables you to create your own designs for only a few dollars. If you pay for their business version you also get to upload your brand colors, fonts, and logos so that you can keep your own creations on point. This is key when you're in marketing and need to set an example of staying on brand with messaging and graphics.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, so good. I've been using Canva for almost three years now, and it does what it promises. It allows you to create marketing graphics without having to learn and intense graphics program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I primarily use Canva for creating social media graphics, but it has also come in handy for internal-use email headers and posters.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend viewing some of the tutorials to learn tips and tricks. Even though it's an easy program to use, there are cool features that you might be missing out on.
