Yes Use it
What do you like best about the product?
Everything, It is really easy to learn and use. The variety of templates, the design is really easy to master. its got spell check which is an absolute lifesaver and necessity. so much flexibility in terms of file downloading ie you can download your file as JPG, PNG, or PDF. And this web app has the competition beat when it comes to image design. The great templates and how easy it is to use preset dimensions or create your own. Really the best thing out there if you want to create interesting social media posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The text, you can't really do that much with it. In terms of video presentations, there are other web apps that are much better, but that's not really what canva is for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great for multimodal teaching, presenting research in new ways, creating social media posts that are engaging when you do not have so much time. Really like the features the filters are really helpful for pictures that need to be edited to have the text pop out.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Yes this is much better than the competition.
Quick and Simple
What do you like best about the product?
I love that this website/app allows me to help my clients become self sufficient when it comes to creating content for their own social media and blog applications. Most of my clients are small business owners who appreciate the ability to quickly learn how to do tasks themselves so they don't have to constantly outsource something that should be quick and simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to be able to bulk edit (delete, update, organize) uploaded content. I've used Canva for well over a year so my upload area is pretty cumbersome.
Ability to create and organize projects on the main page would be nice too. Ability to browse your completed projects by type or even the ability to tag your projects and search via the tags that you've created. That would be absolutely fantastic.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A lot of my clients get stuck when it comes to design, with all the pre-made templates and sizing setup they're able to choose appropriate templates and update with their own content. They find themselves less 'stuck' on things they feel should be quick and simple.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give Canva a chance, it's so quick and easy. You wont have to teach yourself photoshop to look like you know what you're doing. Canva gives you great template options and even has clip art built in. It will save you tons of time!
Replaces our need to outsource graphics - really good value
What do you like best about the product?
Using Canva in-house we no longer have to outsource our graphics, which has saved us a lot of money. It is extremely simple to use and really caters to the non-technical person. Especially for our social media posts, Canva helps us keep our media on-brand, saving our company colors and logos for quick access. Very happy!
What do you dislike about the product?
Really stretching to find dislikes... they could use some more features built in for graphs/numbers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No longer need to outsource graphics, or wait on a freelancer. Quick and simple! Can make an image in minutes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take a little bit of time upfront to learn the little tricks and shortcuts. They have some demos that are pretty helpful as well.
Canva is a Great Solution for Non-Designers and Designers Alike
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Canva for a few years now because it's the fastest way to throw together a great design for social media. If I need to make it fast—and have it look good—I turn to Canva. I'm a professional designer and so I have pretty high standards. Canva is not professional design software by any means, but it is SO much better than trying to use something by Microsoft to make a graphic. If I need to do a pro job, I won't use this, but I love it for a fast social media graphic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, for no reason at all, your design will do something totally wonky, like revert back to an earlier version, move text off the page, delete an image, or wrap text in a weird, unexpected way. These quirks are really frustrating. I also find it frustrating that it's so hard to resize an image, and that there are only limited numbers of files available in the free version. As well as that in the paid version you have to pay for every user license. It's very expensive for what you get.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
An easy, fast way to make design that looks good. Canva gives great starting points, and if you stick with their templates, suggested fonts, and colors, it's pretty hard to go wrong.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're going to be using this on a professional level, you'll be disappointed and would be better off with the Adobe Suite. But, if you just want to make a quick graphic here or there, you'll likely be happy with it.

Canva allows me to create custom, attention grabbing graphics.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I had more control over how images are layered on top of each other.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva allows me to create original content for my Facebook pages.

Play around with it. It's a "Learn by doing" software.
The BEST graphic design site for the artistically challenged
What do you like best about the product?
Canva has been a LIFESAVER for my non-profit program. We have a very limited budget and being able to design online, easily and FREE, has been so helpful. I've used Canva for everything from social media posts to flyers and postcards, and have even used the site for brochure creation (that we used to outsource).
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally I wish there were more free graphics and photos, but that hasn't taken away from my happiness with the site.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are saving SO much money on graphic design and we are able to create material that was otherwise out of our budget. Using the shared templates helps provide inspiration, and I've found ideas for print and digital materials that I would have otherwise never even thought out.
Useful for fast DIY jobs
What do you like best about the product?
Canva offers many professionally designed templates to start a design from, along with prepopulated sizes for many design elements you might need for social media posting.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult to execute an image search.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva can help a small business create professional-looking graphics on a budget. I have found it to be especially useful when I need to combine text and graphics.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Useful for some basic graphic needs.
Canva: A Simple Way to Work Graphic Design Into Your Business!
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is extremely user friendly regardless of your experience creating graphics. I love that there are infinite template options, and they are all so visually striking. It's also helpful that the templates are all but finished, so if you need to create something in a hurry, it takes minimal work on your part to create something eye-catching.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more images, templates, and backgrounds that were free. There are some great paid options, but typically even the simplest image search leads only to paid clip art with no free options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are people throughout my business who have no graphic design experience who are able to create really nice, eye-catching pieces, primarily for use on social media (Facebook banners, promos, etc).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take advantage of the great pre-made options when you're in a hurry.
My go to for visual content
What do you like best about the product?
Cloud-based, easy to use, free. Saves a lot of time and can be used by pretty much anyone. Projects can be accessed from any computer which is also nice. And you can upload your files if you don't feel like paying for stock photos provided by canva.
What do you dislike about the product?
Aiming with mouse to catch a small element.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just use it for content marketing
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just start using it and that's it. Don't expect it to work like photoshop though.
