Canva for the win!
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is hands-down the best online resource we have found for simple, yet amazing graphic design, and what makes it unmatched is that it is completely free!
What do you dislike about the product?
Canva recently launched iphone and ipad apps. While they are useful for small, quick projects, I have found that the apps are not as easy and fluid to use as the web based version. Also, if you start a project on the website and then try to continue it using the app some of the elements of the design change ie. font size and location.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many of us on the team who use Canva had little to no previous design experience or ability, but since using Canva we have been able to grow tremendously in this area, consistently creating some incredible graphics, posters, social media posts, presentations, invitations, and many other projects!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are apart of a non-profit organization then sign up/apply for Canva for non-profits. You get access to more design options, the ability to create a 'team' and add other users in order to view/edit each others projects, plus many other features!
Graphic Design Software that is easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
I just started using it via a recommendation from our CRM software company. It is very user friendly and it is free.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far in the limited time using it I haven't found anything that I dislike about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being a small company on a limited marketing budget I needed graphics for Social Media, marketing, and etc. After attending a webinar for our CRM software Canva was recommended. It gives me the capability of creating professional graphics for our marketing projects.
Amazing time-saving design tool
What do you like best about the product?
Love Canva! All I can say is wow, this tool has saved me a ton of time. I use this at least once a week to create anything from blog graphics to banners and eBooks. The possibilities are endless. Before using Canva, I used Photoshop and find Canva much quicker. No bloated software -- purely web-based.
What do you dislike about the product?
No complaints here, though some more free images and backgrounds would be lovely. :-)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great if you want to create images quickly (both designers and non-designers will love it). I no longer have to spend hours designing things from scratch.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're a designer, it's a great way to save time on basic projects. If you're not a designer, you can use Canva to take care of many of your design needs.
CANVA
What do you like best about the product?
It's FREE! Well, most of it is free. It's easy to use, no training needed. Lots of neat features and layouts to choose from. Makes streamlining social media posts easy. New Instagram motion stories are helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish there were more free seasonal images or layouts to choose from. Especially for big holidays like Christmas, New Years, 4th of July, etc...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Can efficiently create graphics for almost any need in the company. It makes creating business cards, social media graphics, emails, banners, invitations and more quick and easy. The different folders and ability to load in special fonts allows for more organization and customization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Canva is a great tool for any individual or business. Need a quick Instagram graphic quote? No problem! Need a cool graphic for a business meeting? You can do that too. The drag and drop features make it so that anyone can create. Upload your own images for a personalized look.
Canva Review
What do you like best about the product?
I love Canva- it really allows me to create cute marketing materials and signs easily. I have no design experience and am able to do a lot with this program. I love that the designs are free or extremely inexpensive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an option to purchase a design forever, even if it cost a little more money. I feel like I'm constantly paying $1.00 on the same designs when I need to make minor changes and republish them and download them again. This may be an option now that I think about it, but I don't think it is...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me to do a little graphic design on a very low budget. I work at a nonprofit and we don't have the budget for graphic design, but with Canva I'm able to create things that we need.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think Canva is a great tool that allows you to make eye catching images without graphic design experience.
I don't know what I did before Canva
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use and has a simple drag and drop features.
It allows me to be able to quickly mock up social media visuals, brochures, flyers, anything I really need.
It also has templates you can just replace text and colors so the design is actually good and it doesn't take a lot of time.
There is team functionality so it is easy to get feedback from individuals if they are a part of your team.
I like that you can save company colors into your colors so you aren't having to constantly manually input the hex color.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more free images and graphics with the canva for work.
When designing it gives us some direction if things are lined u but it doesn't do a great job. You have to manually move items in place if you want text to completely line up.

can add team members to the platform so you constantly aren't having to save out files and clutter up the server with a million pictures that aren't going to be used anyway.
Easy to use for those quick turn projects.
You don't have to be an expert designer to put together a great design. Saves money.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great tool. It does not replace photoshop for your graphic designers, but it allows you to be able to put together quick images. It also has templated together so it makes for a great guideline for your not pro designers.
Canva is user-friendly and is very helpful for those who manage multiple social media accounts.
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is incredibly easy to work with. You can quickly format your work for various social media platforms, which saves time and energy when you have multiple accounts to manage. They also have a section of free pictures to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Canva could provide even more free pictures. I've also had to import some of the shapes I wanted to use, so I wish they could provide more options there as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed a way to quickly create graphics to post to various social media platforms and this software helped me complete my tasks in half the time I would've spent working in PhotoShop.
Canva is easy to use and effective
What do you like best about the product?
I love everything about Canva. It's incredibly easy to use and the free version gets you very far.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were greater options for clip art and more free images. Other than that I can't complain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva has helped me achieve everything - unique social posts, re-sizing images for website use, creating e-books and manuals and more.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Canva is seriously easy to use. Re-size your images for your website & create original social media posts or info graphics. It's phenomenal. And the paid version offers a converter for various social media platforms.
Craft rich visuals in minutes
What do you like best about the product?
Absolutely everything: Intuitive platform, functional design layouts, and great library of free images/assets/elements to incorporate. Easily craft professional, engaging visuals and presentations within minutes. Easily share designs to collaborate with a group to fine tune and complete layouts. Guy Kawasaki is Canva's Chief Evangelist; that speaks volumes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've experienced interment issues downloading image and noticing margins or alignment is slightly skewed from finalized design. Simple fix; either redownload file or modify design and re-save.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've used this as a marketer to create compelling non-static graphics for external audiences, as-well-as to create invites and social images worthy of sharing for a nonprofit I'm involved with.
One of the best graphics platforms for general image production
What do you like best about the product?
Canva packs some pretty powerful graphic design features into an intuitive and easy-to-use interface.
It works on the principle of layers, and each element is individually editable. This gives a great deal of flexibility when it comes to creating a design from scratch.
The built-in templates are incredibly useful - and the paid version offers a "magic resize" option to create multiple versions with different dimensions of a single design.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are some minor glitches at times, that still need to be ironed out. On occasion, elements appear in a different place on the design on the downloaded file from their position on the workspace. Fortunately, this is relatively rare.
Print-ready PDFs don't have embedded fonts - which can present a problem if you are using non-standard fonts for your design work.
Fortunately, neither of these are problematic enough to make any real impact on our work and use of the platform.

Canva is perfect for creating graphics on the fly, especially in situations where the Adobe suite would be overkill.
The interface is deceptively simple to use, opening up the world of layer-based graphic manipulation to anyone. The built-in templates (the major social media cover images, popular document sizes, etc.) are very useful.
It's helped us create social media graphics quickly and easily - both for ourselves, and our clients.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's certainly worth spending some time creating images in the free version, so you can work out whether you click with the interface or not.
If you do (and it's fairly certain that you will!), then consider upgrading to the paid "Canva for Work" version - the additional control you're given (uploading fonts, for example) will allow you to create your own brand identity.
