Super easy to use & design
What do you like best about the product?
Canva has premade templates for a lot of popular things like social media, email, posters, etc. It makes it easy to know that your images will fit perfectly on all platforms. It's also incredibly easy to use - you can just drag and drop.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's some design limitations that I just do in Photoshop. If you have to do things with overlays, patters, etc. this isn't the place for it. Canva is mainly for basic editing. It also some glitches, like graphics not saving and having to start all over, that get frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They make it really easy to quickly create graphics for business.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely check out their pre-made layouts. They have quite a few free options that you can just update with your own colors and text.
Easy to use and you can make amazing designs in no time
What do you like best about the product?
As a stat freelance journalist having the ability to access fast and easy to use tools to get your best infographics, data, etc is a huge plus. This is exactly what I get with Canvas. A very user friendly tool with lots of free options.
What do you dislike about the product?
There could be more free options, their paid material I believe is not good enough to use your money. There's some limitations, as expected, for the free version but this can be frustrating. I don't like their whole font interaction.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am definitely creating better social media material for my journalist work thanks to Canvas. Is easy to use with Social Media platforms and it is perfect for that. Create a great design and post your tweet, Facebook post etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I have tried several online design tools, I met Canvas through my old company Fit Brains and it really was an amazing discovery. Extremely happy with this tool, easy to use and if you are creative you can really stay with the free version and produce great content.
Perfect for non-graphic designers, as well!
What do you like best about the product?
I love looking at visuals (e.g. photo quotes, infographics, etc.) and as much as I like to think of myself as a creative person, creating a visual from scratch isn't something I know how or something that I have the creativity and patience for.
What I love about Canvas is that t it's not only limited to creating graphics but with other online visual needs, too.
Need a beautiful Facebook cover for your business or personal use?
Use Canva. You can choose from their free stock photos or upload your own photo.
Want to make your quote (or any text, really) more attractive by making it into a quote graphic?
Use Canva. You can start from scratch or choose a design/theme and edit for your preference.
Thinking of creating your own e-book?
Use Canva. They have a lot of designs to choose from.
Canva is super easy to use, easy to personalize, easy to navigate, and you can share it with your team as well!

What do you dislike about the product?
Not exactly a dislike, but more of a suggestion is that I hope we can move or copy pages from one project to another.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva can help your business with all its graphic needs. If you're just starting up and don't have a huge budget, yet, Canva is free and even with the premium account, it's still affordable and you'll get your money's worth. Visuals are a must to attract clients/customers, after all!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just browse through all of Canva's design and I'm positive you'll find something for your business' needs. It is really easy to use and navigate.
This is Photoshop for the broke and challenged
What do you like best about the product?
I found out about Canva at a trade show and have used it daily for over two years. Not only does it have so many features totally free but for such a small monthly amount you can upgrade so you can magic change dimensions and more. You can seriously make people think you are a talented designer with the easy to edit templates, drag and drop design or layering, uploading your own images and files. Plus they have all the template sizes for all the social sites and business forms.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can download your finished file a bit weird sometimes, like it saved without saving. So check your finished file after download. Small glitch that doesn't bother me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do not need an in house designer. I can streamline my social branding, add water marks, easily fit templates and even resize photos in a matter of seconds and download as png, jpg or pdfs ready to print.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it, it's free, why not?
Create great designs even if you're not a professional graphic designer
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Canva is how easy it is to use. Everything is pretty straightforward. You make your account, you log-in and you can immediately produce your first work in a few minutes using any of their many templates. They aren't pretty stingy about their free package either. When combined with some royalty free stock pics, you can really create beautiful graphics quickly. The drag and drop functionality of Canva during the design process is great. Even better is that you can share the design to a colleague with a Canva account and they can start working on it.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's no possibility to collaborate on the same file in real time. Only one person can edit the file at a time. Another issue is in their designs that can be converted into quick "websites". If your design is a bit more complicated, then it everything goes a bit out of place. However, I suppose if you really design a file meant for that kind of display, then you can certainly make it work. There are also a few issues with dragging and dropping images into image placeholder, but anyway, you can easily find workarounds for these small issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to produce various digital content quickly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's not something for experienced graphic designers. They will definitely find the application wanting as there are still lots of things you can't do. This application is best for those who can't use Illustrator but want to get started generating digital content fast.
Canva Review
What do you like best about the product?
The fun layouts and fonts for images.
What do you dislike about the product?
Certain styles only available if you pay
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating better imagery and increase engagement on our social media
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go in with an idea and use canva to create it
Easy way to design eye-catching images
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is extremely user friendly - anyone can quickly get the hang of using the website. You can easily create images, with or without text, that engage your consumer. The best part is that there are loads of free options to do so! A great alternative to Photoshop.
What do you dislike about the product?
The app is definitely the downfall for me. I primarily use the website because of this. The app has limited functionality and oftentimes you are not sure what is free and what you're going to have to pay for. I find that the app is much harder to work with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva provides an easy platform to create images and infographics for your business/organization. I not only use this for promoting sales in my part-time job, but for designing little messages for my students when I'm in the classroom to keep them motivated. It is a quick and easy way to communicate with your consumers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you struggle with elements of Photoshop, definitely give Canva a try! It's super simple to use and creates great images, fast! I recommend this for anyone - small business owner, independent consultants, teachers, etc.
Ridiculous Power & Ease of Use at an Equally Ridiculous Price (FREE!)
What do you like best about the product?
Oh man, I think I like almost everything about Canva. I am not a professional graphic designer, so perhaps my needs are not nearly as complex as a pro. But I have created TONS of really awesome looking stuff using Canva in the last year and I am very pleased with it. It's easy to use. It's relatively easy to learn. It has all the features I need and a bunch I don't, (but that don't get in my way.)
What do you dislike about the product?
Hmmm.... I guess I dislike the fact that I am not rich and famous as a result of using it. I dislike that my hair still hasn't grown back since I started using it. I dislike that I haven't lost any weight as a result of using it. Other than that, I'm pretty satisfied.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I create lead magnets, logos and various graphics for my various web properties. So far, I haven't had to pay a "REAL" designer for any of the things I have done. In other words, I'm getting near professional results without professional prices. I'd say that's definitely worth the price of admission. Which happens to be "free."
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is likely not the product for you if you are a professional graphics designer. But you probably already know that. If you're a solopreneur like me, and need to do stuff quick & dirty that doesn't LOOK quick & dirty, then Canva is definitely worth the effort.
Easy to Use, Amazing Design Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Canva makes it so easy to leverage best design practices and create really visually compelling pieces that can be used across channels. What is awesome about Canva is that it has a ton of pre-loaded templates that with a little tweaking can make a great blog header, social media photo, infographic, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing that I think can be improved is the ability to search for icons etc. The search function usually brings up a lot of photos that actually cost something, so unless you want to scroll through a bunch of options, you usually stick to the same few icon sets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva makes it really easy to create and share visual templates that can be used across marketing channels. This helps save time and resources, and can even save money on using expensive design firms.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Really take some time to play with the tool before you need to use it for something. This way you can get a feel for how the templates work and how you can incorporate your own design elements.
Although there are extra expenses, the free one works well
What do you like best about the product?
This program allows you to create beautiful brochures and other media with gorgeous graphics and layouts. Fairly easy to use. Although it is free to do basic items, when you pay you have a lot more access to even more formats and pictures. Whether you are looking for a free program that allows you to make simple posters or other media without having to pay for other programs, this online program does the job and does it well.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to print it directly from the site without having to first download the creation. You are not allowed to choose where the media you created is placed. If you had an option to download it and place it on your desktop or another folder for easy access, that would be a lot more helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Canva, I am able to create my monthly newsletter that I normally would have used Publisher for. I, however, have a Mac and do not have Publisher so I am able to use Canva for what I normally would have used Publisher for. Canva allows me more already created formats that I can just plug my information into with ease. With my new business account, I am able to resize a layout I like and I am able to save all of my business logos and colors on my account for easy access.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A good alternative for Mac users who cannot access Publisher
