The variety of fonts, templates, and graphics in Canva makes it simple to create designs without much effort or creativity. Also, the initial setup was very easy and quick.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that many useful tools and elements are locked in the paid version. Also, many of the templates look very generic. I would like to see more features and assets so it doesn't feel limited without upgrading. Better customization options should be there too.

Outstanding Experience from Start to Finish
What do you like best about the product?
The biggest upside is the sheer speed of production. The pre-made templates for display ads are a massive time-saver, and the Magic Resize tool allows me to instantly adapt one master design into multiple dimensions (square, leaderboard, skyscraper) for different ad placements.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it is excellent for quick designs, it lacks some of the granular control found in tools like Photoshop. For example, specific text kerning or advanced photo manipulation can sometimes feel limited. The layer management can also get messy on complex files.

It solves the bottleneck of waiting on a graphic design team for simple ad creatives. I can now create and iterate on A/B test variations myself in minutes. This agility has significantly sped up our campaign launch times.
Ultimate Design Tool with Intuitive Features
What do you like best about the product?
I love Canva for its massive library of templates and the incredibly user-friendly drag-and-drop interface. Even without a graphic design background, I can create professional-looking designs in minutes. The 'Magic Edit' and other AI-powered features are a huge plus, making the editing process faster and more creative. These tools, like 'Magic Media' for text-to-image generation and 'Magic Expand' for fixing framing issues, save me a massive amount of time and allow for more creative experimentation. The initial setup was incredibly easy and seamless, just signing up with my email got me designing in seconds. There's no complex installation, and the onboarding tutorial helped me understand the interface quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Canva is great, I feel the mobile app performance could be improved as it can be quite laggy with heavy, high-resolution designs. Additionally, the categorization of elements can sometimes feel cluttered, making it hard to find specific free assets among the many premium ones. More advanced photo manipulation tools, like better background removal for complex edges, would also be a great addition.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva bridges the gap between professional design and ease of use, allowing for quick, clean, branded content creation without complex skills. AI features like 'Magic Edit' save time and enable creative experimentation, eliminating the need for high technical skills.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like Canva's intuitive drag-and-drop interface. It's perfect for non-designers and eliminates the blank-page paralysis by starting with a template and tweaking it in under 10 minutes. The vast, free asset library with millions of templates, photos, icons, and animations keeps things fresh. The AI-powered Magic tools, like Magic Studio, background removal, auto-resize, and text-to-image, are fantastic and feel like having a designer sidekick, cutting edit time by 50-70%. I appreciate the seamless collaboration and sharing features with real-time edits and one-click exports to different formats, making it great for remote work. The affordable scaling is also a plus with the free version being excellent for the basics, and the Pro version offering unlimited access and Brand Kits which are a great deal for pros.
What do you dislike about the product?
Users frequently report slowdowns or crashes when working with complex projects—like designs with embedded videos, 100+ layers, or high-resolution elements. This hits hardest on the web version (free tier) and mobile app during peak hours, forcing browser refreshes or device restarts. PowerPoint imports also glitch, mangling animations. Per 2025 G2 data, ~25% of complaints tie to this, especially for marketers building multi-page decks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
