Orchestration has streamlined workflows and enables fast troubleshooting across daily jobs

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for Stonebranch is for job scheduling and to see the workflows and for troubleshooting any failures.

For our daily work, we use Stonebranch to see that if the workflow is going smoothly without any troubles, and if there is any kind of issue that if any job is running beyond its expected limits, then we use to check if there is any data issue or not. If there is any kind of a data issue, then we monitor it and check with the appropriate team to see how to fix that issue.

What is most valuable?

Stonebranch is a very handy application, and the best feature is the orchestration.

Stonebranch impacts our organization positively as it is very useful in terms of its pricing and overall user interface. We can easily find anything with a small search, and searches work without any issues. The updates and the experience are very smooth without any glitches.

Stonebranch helps in reducing the times and the errors, and as a team, we can coordinate very smoothly with each other because the runtime is very fast, ensuring that each and every member is having similar experiences without any bugs. Stonebranch helps us to troubleshoot any kind of issue without any delay.

Stonebranch saves a lot of time when it comes to watching the overall workflows because we can watch overall workflows in one go and search multiple tasks in one session. It also requires fewer employees to search a particular task and to see a particular workflow because we can search multiple tasks and triggers in one session, making it very useful.

What needs improvement?

Stonebranch can be improved by making it more familiar to other tech geeks. We can add various other features such as AI to improve its accessibility because in today's world, AI is more important than manual things. If it uses AI, it will be improved.

We can add a search bar in Stonebranch and enhance the searches, such as if we need to add more filters. The filtration options are very limited, so we can add more filter options so that we can search out any specific task or job very easily. Apart from that, an AI assistant will be very beneficial for the future.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Stonebranch for over five years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Stonebranch is very stable, and there are no bugs or glitches, so it is a perfect tool in terms of stability.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Stonebranch is a very scalable application, and we can use it on various integrations and applications. We are using it on Informatica and various other Jenkins jobs to trigger from Stonebranch, making it a very scalable tool as far as scalability is concerned.

How are customer service and support?

There are very rare scenarios that we actually face any issues, but I can recall one scenario where we had to call customer support, and the service executive was very prompt in providing a solution. We really appreciate the overall service quality of Stonebranch.

Stonebranch is our first software, and we are very happy with it.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

My experience with the pricing, setup cost, and licensing of Stonebranch has been that it is a very affordable tool, and our organization has been using it for the last overall ten years, so we are very happy with this product as per the pricing is concerned.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I did not evaluate other options before choosing Stonebranch, but along with Stonebranch, we are using Informatica.

What other advice do I have?

Stonebranch is a very handy tool, especially if you want to orchestrate your product and are looking for something very scalable and stable; Stonebranch is very useful. It is one of the best solutions out there in the market. I give this product a review rating of ten.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Stonebranch for job scheduling, monitoring, and creating workflows, and I find it incredibly user-friendly. It is easy to handle not only for experienced users but also for new users, who can confidently navigate it after just a week of knowledge transfer. The system excels at helping me monitor jobs efficiently and resolve issues effortlessly. I particularly enjoy the workflow task management features, which allow me to design complex workflows with ease. The ability to run tasks in parallel, implement conditions, and handle errors efficiently enhances my productivity significantly. Stonebranch's intuitive design makes it very easy to set up and use, which is why I give it a high recommendation score of 10 out of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the OMS message queue handling, as occasionally, an OMS message backlog occurs during high volume or failure. This bottleneck can hinder the workflow by transitioning jobs from queued to running states inefficiently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Stonebranch for job scheduling and monitoring, simplifying issue resolution. It facilitates complex workflow design with parallel executions, improving efficiency and ease of use, even for new users.

Exceptional Support and Rapid Feature Delivery with Stonebranch

What do you like best about the product?
Last year, we started with a proof of concept to see if Stonebranch could meet our needs. During this phase, we found two missing features that were blocking an implementation. Impressively, Stonebranch addressed both issues within just one week. The subsequent business plan surprised us with its Return on Investment. We are now in the process of migrating our scheduling, MFT, and automation tools. Working alongside their Professional Services team, we have migrated over 3,500 workflows and created many new business workflows as well.

They really listen to their customer : proof of that are the many feature requests they processed and adaptions they made to their software on our request.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with any large-scale migration, things can become quite complex. Fortunately, Hallpily Stonebranch was consistently willing to help us with any questions that arose.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our goal was to streamline our IT environment by bringing together three essential applications. We also sought a solution that would allow teams to manage their own workflows independently. The new Self Service Portal has been instrumental in helping us achieve this.

Outstanding Experience with a Comprehensive Knowledge Base

What do you like best about the product?
Once it's set up, using it becomes very straightforward. The customer support is excellent; we typically receive responses within an hour, and they aren't just links to a knowledge base. I use this daily, and the interface is very intuitive, allowing me to find everything I need immediately and easily explore further details when necessary.
What do you dislike about the product?
My main problem was with the setup process. Although the knowledge base contains a lot of information, it can be somewhat difficult to navigate at times. There are definitely sections where, if you overlook something, you might find yourself stuck.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool has become our automation workhorse. I use it every day to refine processes and review outputs, and I find it to be an excellent product.

Streamlining Workflows with Precision and has one of the best customer service.

What do you like best about the product?
In our current project, we've relied on Stonebranch Universal Automation Controller (UAC) for approximately three years now. Prior to UAC, we utilized ESP, and the transition between the two was seamless, largely due to the exceptional support provided by Stonebranch. Their team assisted us in converting schedules from ESP to workflows, ensuring a smooth migration process.

Our application is hosted on AWS, and Stonebranch's support was invaluable in setting up the application within this environment. Their assistance has been consistently prompt and reliable, addressing any issues that arise promptly. This level of support has instilled confidence in our team, knowing that assistance is readily available whenever needed.

While I personally haven't worked with ESP, I can attest to the user-friendliness of UAC. It has provided our application teams with the tools they need to efficiently build and manage their workflows. The level of control offered by UAC over schedules has been instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our project.

Overall, our experience with Stonebranch UAC has been highly positive, thanks in no small part to the support provided by the vendor. Its user-friendly interface and robust features have empowered our teams to effectively manage their workflows and drive project success.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a newcomer to scheduling platforms, I found the initial lack of comprehensive learning materials available on online platforms to be somewhat challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We utilize Stonebranch for automation purposes, managing a substantial workload of around 300,000 schedules in our process and we are still in transtion phase. It serves a wide range of functions, including the execution of Unix scripts and basic Cron scheduling. One standout feature is its seamless integration with cloud providers, which has proven to be particularly impressive in our operations.
