Effective for Multi-Skill Users, Needs Better Integration Support
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Braze can be used by users with many different skill levels for various marketing and in-app messaging tasks. The Campaigns & Canvases feature is particularly valuable as it allows us to send personalized content to nudge customers effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
A fair bit of dev support required. We require a lot from our in-house tech teams re integration. This can make new things slow to be delivered by us. It was rushed which is why we have gaps in our integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze lets us communicate directly with customers and is accessible for users of all skill levels. It helps us send personalized content through Campaigns & Canvases.
Strong customer engagement platform with powerful real-time capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Braze is how easy it is to actually build and launch campaigns without needing a lot of technical support. The journey builder in particular has made a big difference for me. Being able to set up multi-channel campaigns across email, push, and in-app in one place has saved a lot of time compared to using separate tools or relying on engineers.
The real-time data is another big advantage. I can trigger messages based on what users are doing right now, not hours or days later. That has made our campaigns feel much more relevant and has improved engagement.
Integrations have also been really useful. Once everything was connected to our data sources, it became much easier to create more targeted segments and personalize messaging. From a pricing and ROI perspective, while we are still early in our use of the platform, the value is clear in terms of efficiency and consolidation. Having multiple channels and capabilities in one platform reduces the need for additional tools, which we expect will lower overall costs. The ability to target users more accurately should also improve conversion rates, which we anticipate will deliver a strong return on investment over time.
The platform is also reliable when sending to large audiences, and I have not run into major issues with delivery. Onboarding was fairly smooth, and when I have needed help, support has been responsive and helpful.
The AI assistant in Braze, BrazeAI Operator, has been a useful feature so far, mainly for helping speed up campaign setup and content creation. We are still early in using it, but it has made it easier to generate messaging ideas and get campaigns off the ground more quickly.
One thing I did not expect was how easy it is to test and iterate. The built-in A/B testing and analytics make it simple to try new ideas and quickly see what works without needing extra tools.
Overall, it has made my workflow faster and made it easier to run more effective campaigns.

What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of Braze is that there is a noticeable learning curve, especially when you start working with more advanced features like segmentation, personalisation, and journey logic. While the platform is powerful, it can take time to feel fully confident using it without support. This has been more apparent during onboarding, where some setup steps and configurations require technical input.
The UI is generally good, but it can become harder to manage as campaigns and journeys grow more complex. Navigating and maintaining larger canvases can feel a bit overwhelming at times, particularly for new users.
From a pricing perspective, the lack of transparent pricing upfront makes it harder to evaluate early on, and it is clearly positioned as an enterprise-level investment. While we expect strong ROI over time, the initial cost and setup effort can be a barrier, especially for smaller teams.
Overall, while the platform is very capable, it does require time, resources, and a certain level of technical maturity to get the most out of it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Braze, we struggled with managing customer communication across multiple tools and channels, which made it harder to keep messaging consistent and respond quickly to user behaviour. Campaign setup often required more manual work and coordination with technical teams, which slowed things down.
With Braze, we can now manage email, push, and in-app messaging in one place and build journeys more independently. This has already reduced the time it takes to launch campaigns and made it easier to stay consistent across channels. We can also start to use real-time data to trigger messages based on user actions, rather than relying on delayed or batch updates.
Another problem was limited visibility into customer data for segmentation. Now that our data is integrated into Braze, we can create more targeted audiences and personalise messaging more effectively. While we are still early in the rollout, this is already improving how relevant our campaigns are and should lead to better engagement and conversion rates.

Easy, Intuitive Platform That Stands Out
What do you like best about the product?
It is really easy and intuitive. I had worked with other platforms but this one is one of the easiers
What do you dislike about the product?
That you can't select different actions inside canvas but you need to select one by one
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping with sending communications to the right audiences at the right time
Feature-Rich Tool That Covers a Wide Range of Needs
What do you like best about the product?
The amount of features cover a wide area
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s frustrating not being able to group and move items together on the canvas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Personalisation in campaigns and canvas- right message for each customer
Clean, Easy-to-Navigate Layout
What do you like best about the product?
I like the layout, it's over overly complex and is easy to navigate
What do you dislike about the product?
I need to learn and take more certifications - so currently couldn't nothing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to check customers marketing consents if they have sent an enquiry.
Accessible APIs, SQL, and AI That Help Scale Personalisation
What do you like best about the product?
Their data capabilities are very upfront and accessible - they provide access to things like APIs/SQL etc. for marketers that generally would only be touched by more technical people. This gives much more opportunity for us to scale personalisation and customer journeys, especially using their advanced AI features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because all the technical features are so upfront, it can be complex to understand segments and how to set up certain journeys like abandon cart or just general logic. They also have loads of add ons which can be hard to keep track of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze is allowing us to connect our in-app behaviours with customer comms and base our audiences on real data in real time.
Automation, Personalisation, and Support That Deliver
What do you like best about the product?
The automation of things, support and personalisation
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes it can be over complicated and a little hard to navagate
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze is solving the challenge of fragmented and impersonal customer communication. Many businesses struggle to coordinate messaging across multiple channels (email, push notifications, SMS, in-app), leading to inconsistent experiences and missed engagement opportunities.
By bringing data, messaging, and automation into one platform, Braze
enables real-time, personalised communication based on user behaviour and preferences. This helps ensure customers receive the right message at the right time, rather than generic or delayed campaigns.

Great features, easy interface and easier to segment
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use, the drag and drop templates are much easier to use and the interface is user friendly. I found creating segments has become a lot easier and I think the use of AI is also a game changer too.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you clean up a canvas, it still puts the steps all over the place and often if your doing a larger canvas, makes it more untidy. I also still would love it if liquid could be easier to spot errors. Rather than trying to find a needle in a haystack. An ESP provider should be easy to use, than make your campaign and life harder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User update step is a great new tool which is really useful, it has really come in handy with our current loyalty incentive campaigns
Easy to Use and Constantly Evolving
What do you like best about the product?
Braze is easy to use and constantly evolving
What do you dislike about the product?
there isnt really any downsides to braze
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Minimising operational tasks
Easy to Use at Scale with Powerful AI Campaign Tools
What do you like best about the product?
It’s very easy to use and puts everything right at your fingertips. It still performs well at a high scale, even when you’re working with lots of data points. I also like the AI features, such as Braze AI Agent and Decision Making Studio, and how they let you create campaigns through them. Onboarding is straightforward, and getting the practitioner exam really helps.
What do you dislike about the product?
Coming from an energy company, I sometimes find it a bit too simplistic for our very complex organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our previous platform constantly ran into issues and didn’t perform well at scale, whereas Braze has been much more reliable for us. On top of that, our marketers find it significantly easier to use.
