Great canvas flows to support complex, personalised user journeys

What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of canvas flow to build personalised user journeys.
What do you dislike about the product?
The limitations of canvas flow compared to classic canvas editor should be highlighted more in the feature e.g. users automatically exit the canvas when they reach the last step in a canvas, unless lots of delays are added in. This means if you want to add to your journey you need to duplicate the canvas or create additional ones that are linked to.

Braze is missing some really basic features like auto save. It also logs out often. This can delete hours of work on cavases and campaigns.

Braze does not enable you to turn an email that has been created in a canvas/campaign into a template, or transfer emails from a canvas to a campaign and vice versa without downloading and reuploading as a HTML version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sending personalised communications to users based on unique attributes or custom events.

For an Intuitive and Mostly Seamless Experience

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Braze is how easy it is to create campaigns and canvases! Building a workflow has never been so easy! Even using HTML code or building emails without HTML code is pretty seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally I will run across situations with emails that are hard to resolve with limited HTML code knowledge. It is not often a bad experience, in fact more often than not, it is a seamless experience. User imports can sometimes be tricky if you only have an email for the member.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love that Braze recently came up with the ability to view emails in dark mode. I additionally love the exit canvas option, so no matter where a member is in the canvas if a specific event occurs, it will kick them out of the canvas. There is less of a concern of members writing in asking why they received an automated message.

Additionally, in our company we desperately needed the ability to send automated messages through the customer's journey and Braze really helps resolve that without needing a lot of engineers and extra developers.

What do you like best about the product?
Love the Canvas Flow functionality. The simplicity to create a full user flow and tap into different user attributes/ custom events as triggers.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to manually access User Data in csv format. For larger data pulls we need to use an API call.

What do you like best about the product?
Braze has a user-friendly dashboard that's easy to navigate. The capabilities to target and segment your audience are impressive, and the amount of tools (email, in-app push, content cards, etc.) you can utilize is vast. Estimating the audience is great, and the canvas tool is the best! It really makes setting up campaigns easy. There are lots of documentation and how-to videos online.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that you can't delete specific items. Instead, you have to archive them. Autosave would also be a nice feature to add. Nothing worse than working on a campaign that doesn't autosave and having to start over.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze is helping us market to our clients at the right time. We are able to reach a plethora of clients productively and with accurate communications. Our marketing ROI has also increased after using Braze.

What do you like best about the product?
The different ways of targeting, how we can add our own specific lists of users but also use filtering for the countries. Setting a cap is also very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The targeting for country seems to be off sometimes. Eg. When filtering for United States only we still get in countries like United Arab Emirates and Mexico.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great for our notification use for short questinaires and longer surveys that we connect to more complex surveys we set up in Alchemer.

What do you like best about the product?
Very user-friendly - easy to navigate and experiment with different features. I especially enjoy using the new version which makes it easy to create flows within a canvas.
What do you dislike about the product?
The challenge my team found with Braze was in terms of reporting - without any add-ins, we found it difficult to report on analytics without any built-in dashboards or the ability to export these results into a csv file.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most of the time, I find that a lot of customer engagement platforms are difficult to learn and use. However with Braze, it was easy to pick up and try new features with this tool.

What do you like best about the product?
How it's the one stop shop for everything as it relates to web and app. I also really like how powerful canvases are.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I can't think of anything. Most of the issues we have are on our end (events tracking + triggers)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automated crediting, custom event triggers, cross-platform tracking and communication.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to set up campaigns and launch campaigns. I came from using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, which was not intuitive at all, but switching to Braze was much easier. The UI/UX overall is quite enjoyable.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some minor functions that aren't available on Braze, such as campaigns automatically stopping/archiving once a one-time send has been completed. I think the UI/UX of the Canvas Flows can also be improved a bit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze is easy to use and a great email service provider. It is benefitting my company because it is our main email service provider and we are able to reach all of our users efficiently. We are also able to report on analytics easily.

A User-friendly platform for both strategists and operational marketers

What do you like best about the product?
I love Braze's user-friendly features. Braze is easy to use, and I can do so much within there for someone who is not typically technical or heavily operational in skillset. I like that we can segment various campaigns in order to meet our customers where they need to be met using a modality of channels, but all within the same canvas. I love that Braze and their team members are always available to help us and make sure we have the support we need to accomplish our goals. On top of our monthly meetings, we can always submit support questions or issues we face and get quick, prompt responses to help us.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more reporting capabilities and an easier way to drive data within the platform. Sometimes I feel that I need to be better connected from a data standpoint to understand our campaign performance truly. Maybe if we had a better integration with out analytics team here, and had the necessary data I would feel differently, which I don't necessarily think is Braze's fault, but maybe we can partner better to identify solutions. I also wish we could better optimize customer's profiles and integrate additional channels like telephonic outreach as well as direct mail.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze is making our marketing automation possible and solving so much manual work on our end in order to take our users down a personalized journey. Braze is also a one-stop shop for all things marketing automation due to their extensive list of technology partners.
