Praise for Braze
What do you like best about the product?
It's a very beginner-friendly platform that scales well for power users. I feel like anyone of any skill level could grasp the tool very easily. I have worked with other tools in the past that are very convoluted and difficult to navigate through in a way that facilitates efficient work.
I also really believe that Braze considers user feedback and devises ways to implement features that help the users. I have seen it myself in the SMS sector where requests made at my previous company have been implemented in my current company

What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of organizational abilities, I know we have tags that we can, but I do feel that an integrated folder structure would be very helpful, especially in the templates and media section.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to accurately and consistently engage with customers across multiple channels without having to use many other tools. Most functionality that a user could hope for is baked into Braze.
Braze has helped our marketing team reach thousands of inactive members every day.
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Braze is such an easy tool for collaboration with product and marketing. We are able to reach a full member funnel through braze with many different types of touchpoints (emails, texts, app pushes, app pop ups, etc). We can enroll new members, get them set up for success in the first 30 days, and then bring them back when they become inactive.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest challenge with Braze is the IP warming feature. I wish it was easy to schedule IP warming to an entire population so that it wasn't so manual every day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze is helping us with enrollment, activation, engagement, re-engagement, and ultimately driving revenue and helping our members see real health results. We are able to reach members to aren't enrolled with our product and get them signed up, and then reach them at critical points in their health journey so they can reach their goals (weight loss, stress reduction, blood sugar, etc).
A platform with great support
What do you like best about the product?
The training documents have been extremely helpful for new users to get up to speed and become familiar with the platform. Also, the support team has been amazing a quickly and thoroughly responding to questions we have.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not everything can be viewed easy all within the Braze platform. Most items require having a connection to a third-party app or pulling data out of the system via API for analysis. This isn't necessarily a bad thing but can make it difficult to manage multiple vendors and have to go into multiple systems to get a complete picture.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been able to build complicated user journeys across multiple channels to be able to reach our customers where they would like to be contacted.
The service we receive from the Braze team is super good! The attention is fast and very friendly!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that we can create different segments and event, and automate campaigns in real time. The service that the team gives us is really fast and very attentive (close).
What do you dislike about the product?
Something that we can improve is the negotiation of the incremental cost per MAU, since it is good to have more MAU's but every time they grow, it means a higher cost for us. We should have a lower cost per MAU the more we have of them. Another point is that Braze you have a Loyalty module /section and not CRM only.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We challenge the Braze team to give us benchmarks with other countries in the region, it is important to always look at others as well. The more information you can give us about our brands in the region, will be better!
An essential platform for CRM
What do you like best about the product?
High-powered reporting, intuitive campaign/segment organizational tools, and next-level customer service.
What do you dislike about the product?
Looking forward to new template packages for channels like IAM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Turning vast quantities of customer data into personalized campaigns. Also, helps establish channel benchmarks and best practices in a consistently evolving digital environment.
I love the user interface.

The user interface is extremely user-friendly, I can easily figure things out myself, and if I can't, I know that our reps are always there to help.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are sometimes glitches that cause the changes you make to a campaign not to be saved, other than that not many major issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze is a great marketing automation solution and having used Braze at different companies where I had the chance for both basic and advanced targeting depending on our company's capabilities, I was never disappointed.

Braze is very user-friendly and if I have any questions our CSM, Melissa, is always there to help!

Some missing data analytic features could be improved.

Quick building communications to reach our applicant and patient populations in multiple channels.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Utilize the resources and learning labs available for quick answers and additional set-up, but if your CSM is a rockstart like ours, she's always happy to hop on adhoc calls or email us insights and instructions to make our comms the best!

- Needs more flexibility in implementing global message capping rules
- More intuitive tagging feature to manage campaigns
- Sometimes not flagging errors in campaign setup, segment, liquid code, etc., which would help in debugging

It's relatively easy to create segments, custom audiences, custom attributes, and run large scale A/B tests.

The cost of syncing new data has a relatively linear relationship with the volume of data.
