What do you like best about the product?
As a marketer the ability to easy build personalized messaging at scale
What do you dislike about the product?
Campaigns vs. Canvas - It's still unclear the value of one over the other

Building HIPPA compliant personalized messaging to guide our members to make informed health care decisions
First few months positive
What do you like best about the product?
My team migrated easily in a few months. It is a huge program sending billions of emails. I was intimidated at first but Braze's team was very helpful in answering our questions and getting us sending. Deliverability has been better than before. Support has been great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The out-of-box setup was more intimidating than some platforms I'd used. The learning curve is higher than I am used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We decided to create an in-house "decision engine" from a database of about 1,000 email creatives, and Braze was able to sync with this system and allow us to send efficiently to millions of users per day.
Easy to use, and great technical support when needed.
What do you like best about the product?
The canvas and user journey options are unbeatable. Braze makes it easy to meet the user where they're at with the correct personalized messaging. The technical and strategic support from the management team is super helpful and always willing to assist.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downsides I've encountered are some delays in API triggered messaging as well as some large scale outages that have occurred within the last year or so
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze solves the problem of reaching out to potential churn users outside of the app experience. Using push and email to contact these users have allowed our app to continue to grow while meeting our retention goals.
A powerful platform with the right integrations
What do you like best about the product?
Braze allows us to do the majority of our messaging to users with a reasonably user-friendly interface. It supports a broad range of integrations with our data warehouse and other tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Analytics and reporting can be limiting if your use case doesn't support integrating with the SDK.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze allows us to segment our users and message them at certain points in their lifecycle, enabling us to increase activation, conversion, and retention.

What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboards aren't the most convenient or easy to use. It's very limited on the type of dashboards you can create and you constantly have to refresh it. You also have to reach out to support to get customer data which causes delay in troubleshooting issues.

Ability to reach users at the right time using a set of triggers and personalizing content to specific profiles

I think the business model, specifically around data point consumption discourages integrating data that has yet to be proven as relevant. It would also be nice if csv's could be rolled back

It's helping with enabling non-engineers to create segments and test/control groups

What do you like best about the product?
Braze is staying up to date with the latest technology advances and keeping my team ahead in marketing. We love their personalization and new AI features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Small features can be missed such as not having folders. We also find testing emails can be tricky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are now able to send millions of email to our customer list. We can segment, tag, create and personalize our emails to get better click through rates. We are also seeing a continual increase in revenue generation.

What do you like best about the product?
Very intuitive without technical experience. When I do run into a technical question, the Braze customer success team has held my hand every step of the way and empowered our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Scrolling is difficult in canvas and I would like to archive stopped campaigns in the "message prioritization" feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Persistent inbox using content cards so that push messages don't dissappear into the void if a user wants to reference the message later.
Braze is dynamic, intuitive and easy to use.

The integrations are always up to date, new partners and codes make Braze new everyday. I like to know it is always updated

Triggered campaigns, SMS verification codes and acquisition. I see our numbers are increasing and Braze is showing results.

braze can be tough to understand the data points, and using things like events for liquid personalization
