Practical Marketing Tool with Good Targeting

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the feature flag of Braze, which is really convenient. It allows me to target different audiences and get feedback from a specific group of users.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface but it has been redone recently, maybe more documentation sometimes it's a bit lacking on the max capacity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Braze to send push notifications and communicate news to our user base, and the feature flag is really handy for targeting different audiences.

What do you like best about the product?
Braze is really complete in terms of features. It helps you to have an overview of your audiences, create special segments and create an effective cross-channel communications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the reports are not very complete. If I want to generate a report by language or by country for my canvases, I have to do it manually.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Braze is super intuitive and connects effortlessly with our databases. It allows us to reach our customer base and engage with them regularly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the email creation process is lacking in templates and ingenuity. You guys should have a ton of data on what works and it would be awesome if those templates would just be available. Not easy because of the complexity of the data.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the variety of experimentation that's made possible with Braze!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it didn't require opening several tabs in order to view several content blocks within a canvas, and that I'm not able to make a copy of an email that I built out in one canvas in order to add it to another canvas (this is usually for experiments where they need to be separated because the CCC in one requires a lower rate limit than the other).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's done a great job with allowing for clear experimentation across multi-channels!

Strong UI, but need for improvement in analyses

What do you like best about the product?
I find the user interface of Braze very easy to use. New employees and junior managers can quickly get up to speed, which leads to relatively efficient usage. The setup of segmentation, canvas, and campaigns is very good. Additionally, the testing time is impressively fast – test SMS, test emails, and test in-app messages can be sent quickly. These are the advantages I find the strongest.
What do you dislike about the product?
In Braze's Canvas feature, it is not possible to depict truly complex and long-running user flows. Users cannot be sent back to the beginning or to another step they have already been to at the end of a flow, which increases the number of campaigns that need to be set up. There are differences in how segmentation can be used in the segmentation feature and in campaign segmentation, which is a major problem. Segment extensions are not synchronized in real-time, but only once a day, which means they are not up-to-date 99 percent of the day. The analysis in Braze is very weak, especially regarding A/B testing and flow analyses, as only four can be set and nothing can be adjusted after the campaign starts. Email marketing practices, such as countdowns and access to GIF platforms, are missing in Braze. The landing page feature is very weak and has not been optimized for a long time. During the implementation of Braze, there was little support from the onboarding team in defining data and campaigns.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze is a CRM tool that allows us to manage communication with end users who use our app.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the key features it has, the Cross-Channel Messaging, the Data Platform, the AI capabilities. The fact that is very fast and trust worthy is a plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, it is best as it is. Keep up the good work.

User-Friendly Multi-Channel Platform

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Braze is user-friendly, with constant updates and new features that inspire new campaign ideas. It allows me to add custom attributes and custom events, integrating these with my app. The regular updates keep it always growing, which is something I appreciate. I also find the integrations very useful because I can use APIs with other services to get the information I need for personalization or targeting the right audience. It's great that I can track specific events and integrate with CDPs like MParticle or Segment to gather valuable data for my campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
A challenge I have is that I cannot see the unique values I have in my custom attributes or custom events. Not having a place to see the database and being able to query it with SQL feels sometimes like a black box. I need to check in many places if the value I'm using is the correct one. It would be easier if we could access the database from Braze itself. Also, for Braze initial setup is crucial to have an engineer or technical person who understands your data and the campaigns you want to build.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze provides tools to personalize, customize, and use different channels in one platform, ensuring a consistent and impactful customer journey.

Exceptional Learning Portal Makes Braze Easy for Beginners

What do you like best about the product?
What I love best about Braze is the learning portal. As a newbie, understanding the platform seemed like attempting algebra as a 3 year old, but the learning portal & live trainings have made using Braze very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I just started using Braze for 5 months now. So, don't know yet what I dislike about the Braze.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, Braze is supporting our foundational engagement and platform readiness. While we are still in the CDI ingestion phase, the Inbox Vision tool within the email template builder has been instrumental in helping us test and optimize responsive email templates across devices and email service providers.

This reduces rendering risks, ensures consistency in user experience, and positions us for improved engagement when campaigns go live.

Flexible and Scalable, But Needs UI Refresh

What do you like best about the product?
I find Braze really flexible because you can go as basic or as granular as you want or need, making it scalable to my needs. Learning Braze was fairly intuitive and self-discoverable, and there's great documentation which makes it easy to learn. I like that you can just learn it as you go.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the UI and UX for sure. It's very old and outdated, which made me trust the platform less initially.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Braze for scheduling, audience segmenting, and shipping modals without engineering help, making it scalable to my needs.
