Probably the best customer engagement tool out there

What do you like best about the product?
I use Braze for a lot of things as a lifecycle marketing manager, and it's been really helpful. It activates newly registered users for our app, helps engage them, and ensures they discover all the features of the Lifesum app. It plays a big role in retention by making sure users come back and use the app for a long time. I find it probably most important for targeting free users with the right offers at the right time & channel to try and convert them into premium paying members. Plus, segmentation is a major help in making sure we find the right users for specific campaigns. We base this on their lifecycle stage, geography, demographics, or even specifics like BMI or gender. We also do a lot of segmentation for users from our B2B partners, kind of like account-based marketing. I think that the implementation setup was pretty straightforward; I wasn't part of the company back then. but from what I've heard, it took them about two months for the full setup. I'd say Braze is probably the best customer engagement software I've personally worked with.
What do you dislike about the product?
The email editing tools are still not first class as Braze was originally mobile-first so it's lagging a bit behind competitors who started out as email-first - however they've been working a lot on improving this area of the product. Also reporting wise, you still need to rely on external tools like Amplitude or Mixpanel to get the full picture, however, same as email, lots of improvements have happened there lately.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Braze for segmentation, setting up campaigns, and building canvases. It helps activate and engage users, improves retention, and targets free users to convert them into premium members. Segmentation ensures finding the right users for specific campaigns based on their lifecycle stage, geography, or demographics.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like my experience with Braze; it's great. The constant improvement of the platform and the use of AI stand out to me. The CSM team is also very responsive and attentive to our needs, which makes the experience smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the certificates are not free for Braze customers. They should not be paid, at least for the team that works hands-on with the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Braze for syncing data, building campaigns, and multichannel orchestration.

What do you like best about the product?
Navigating through the menus is straightforward. I can easily find the information I need on a daily basis with just a few clicks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Based on my current needs, I don’t have anything I dislike about Braze.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I mainly use it to look up information about our users. Because the information is easy to access and all communication is kept in one place, it makes my work much easier.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Braze is pretty easy to use and offers a lot of features for controlling and fine-tuning audiences. The ability to dissect segments into sub-segments using segment extensions is quite helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can be a little too clunky and it's not optimized for small screen laptops, so it ends up making it difficult to use across a variety of devices. It could also be more clear about what I have access to and don't, as it usually leaves a vague message which leaves me unsure if the data exists or if I just don't have access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Braze for email marketing. It helps us utilize our PII data for marketing safety. It's pretty easy to use and has features for controlling and fine-tuning audiences, allowing us to dissect segments into subsegments using segment extensions.

What do you like best about the product?
Excellent knowledge base and training opportunities make getting started and upskilling easy.

Customer success team offer great support to deliver on business outcomes.

Wide selection of features suitable for a huge range of business applications.

Consistent development and improvement of platform is evident, including growing suite of AI tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
The analytics and reporting features feel somewhat limited compared with the flexibility of the campaign-building and audience tools, have had to create a few workarounds to fit use cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating and managing targeted, strategic communications throughout the customer journey across a wide range of channels to deliver on core business objectives.

Empowers Team Collaboration and Enhanced Campaign Strategy

What do you like best about the product?
I love how well we can collaborate remotely but also in person. About every other year or so, we do a Braze Hackathon with members from the NBC organization and Braze to tackle important ideas for the next year. It's always fun to brainstorm ideas and work with a team who can turn visions into reality, which is really exciting. I also really like the email builder tool and the new AI decision tools. The AI tools are great because they help us make decisions by using real-time data, allowing us to quickly translate numbers into tangible next steps. This is particularly helpful for our audiences team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it would be really nice to have a basic, super basic level 101-esque course on how Braze works — before we even get into how the team uses it. I wonder how much of the new team members' understanding is true understanding and how much is trial by error or a 'monkey see, monkey do' situation. I haven’t found tutorials on our side to be especially helpful
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze saves us from building emails in-house, letting us customize campaigns easily and provides valuable content analysis and audience data that aid in understanding the consumer lifecycle, boosting subscription retention.

What do you like best about the product?
I like about it is that It facilitates communication via email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messages to improve retention and drive growth.
What do you dislike about the product?
complex set up, and need for technical resources despite its powerful mobile marketing

Their outdated interface, once updated and modernized it would benefit us for it to be user friendly, so we can make sure we hit the target marketing audiences

What do you like best about the product?
I like Braze for its user-friendliness, which makes managing email marketing straightforward. I also appreciate the support from the customer success managers as they enhance my experience with the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it frustrating that Braze doesn't directly read XML files for email templates. Currently, we have to transfer our content from CMS into Azure to translate it into JSON so Braze can pick up the content.

I use Braze for email marketing automation.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple it is to use Braze. The segmentation is more comprehensive than the competition, which allows me to use new strategies to capture more sales. I also highly value the implementation of AI, as it predicts the potential needs of the customer. Additionally, it is easy to carry out strategies and other customer contacts, as well as to do remarketing. The initial setup of Braze was very simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
In principle, everything is fine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Braze to acquire new customers and retain existing ones. The segmentation is more comprehensive than the competition. Implement AI to predict customer needs, facilitating strategy and remarketing. It is easy to use and compatible with Salesforce.
