Great tool for marketing comms
What do you like best about the product?
Braze is quite easy to navigate and use to send out marketing comms. It has many features that allow you to optimise your messaging, scheduling and segmenting. It's also good to see the Product teams constantly releasing new updates and fixes.
The Support team are wonderful. They're quick to respond, and very helpful.

What do you dislike about the product?
There's room for improvement in the UX of some of its features. For example heatmaps of your emails to see clicks, are only available for desktop view, not mobile view. In the Canvas and Campaigns homepages, there are too many columns taking up space, and when you unselect some columns from view, there is no way to save this as your default - you need to unselect these every time.
Braze has a lot of potential to improve its reporting features as these are lacking and clunky.

Braze helps our segmentation a lot. We can effectively target the right audiences.

What do you like best about the product?
As a newer user to Braze and CRM platforms I have loved how easy it is to use and intuitive. I have been taking a few of the live learning calls and these have really helped with my adoption. I have trialed quite a few of the features and have a lot of plans in the future to trial more.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't always do as much as we want to do due to the data points.

What do you dislike about the product?
While Braze is highly capable, the initial setup and integration can be complex, especially for teams without dedicated technical resources. The learning curve can be steep, and some advanced features require a deeper understanding of the platform. Additionally, the cost can be high for smaller teams or startups, which may limit its accessibility.

Braze helps us streamline our customer engagement strategy by providing a unified platform for managing multi-channel communication. With its robust automation tools, we can create personalized marketing campaigns that integrate seamlessly across email, mobile, SMS, push notifications, and WhatsApp. This has significantly improved our ability to deliver timely, relevant messages to our audience, boosting engagement and retention. The powerful segmentation and real-time data capabilities allow us to target users more effectively, leading to higher conversion rates and better customer lifetime value.
Great platform for marketers
What do you like best about the product?
Easy of use / user friendly. Very intituive and there are so many guides to get support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slight learning curve given the range of features but not a bad thing.

Braze allows to better segment our audiences and personalize their journeys so they can have the most effective marketing.
Expensive, constant price increases and hostile behavior
What do you like best about the product?
As a startup Braze doesn’t care about you. Prices get increased constantly and we told them that we will wire the bill in a week. Result: they close the account. 5 days later it’s still not reactivated though the bill is paid. You’re better off looking for another tool.

Expensive, hard to use, long time to implement, unfriendly staff and team when you need something

What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most about Braze is their user-friendly interface. You have access to a lot of features without complicating the process unnecessarily, everything is well described and organised. The availability of multiple channels and ways to personalise makes engagement easier. And the use of central templates can optimise the building process significantly. My favorite feature is connected content all kinds of information can be displayed in your messages with a fairly quick implementation. Also, the customer success managers are very helpful when you have new use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could access the database via Braze to troubleshoot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze makes simple to build complex personalised journeys for multi market companies. Features like Catalogs, Connected content and Liquid personalisation have been a game changer in our campaigns.

Availability of channels, number of partners, canvases and available logic

Upselling, features that are considered add-ons that should be included
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problems of communicating across multiple channels easily and the concept of a unified user profile is helpful. This benefits us because now users will receive communications even if they don't have push enabled for example.
