A product that is always improving

What do you like best about the product?
Braze listens to feedback from it's customers on how to improve the product, and actually makes changes based on the feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to intertwine canvases. Having a feature that allows CRM teams to send customers straight into another canvas when reaching the end of an existing canvas would make the customer journey so much smoother.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use a lot of customer profile data to create very personlized emails, and Braze has helped us work through how to setup these custom email templates.

What do you like best about the product?
Makes things simple with drag and drop editors. Easy to make it simple at first and then make it complicated over time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of ability to see customers in a database.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It now handles all our messaging for our media company. Primarily emails, but with room to expand.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to create canvases and segments. Great UI and quick technical support
What do you dislike about the product?
Search function can be bad sometimes and wish they had folders, in addition to tags to make it easier. If you have hundreds of active canvases, you have to scroll through for long.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes it easy to send commes over push and in-app

What do you like best about the product?
Really intuitive, clear, and easy to navigate UI/UX. Customer Success Reps are great (shoutout Arjun Kumar and Raf Chowaniec). Very good sending capabilities, felt confident in our deliverability within Braze and our good domain/IP reputation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Braze could use a lot of work regarding their reporting and anaytics campaibilities within the system. I understand they intend for you to migrate your data out and do analytics on another platform internally, but this creates friction and extra work. Really need to work on their revenue reporting, as that's most important to most executive leaderships. Last Click reporting is CRITICAL, and Braze is severly lacking regarding this functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great at segmenting and sending to all of our different user groups. Deliverability is great and it has allowed us to build up a great domain/IP reputation.

Intuitive workstreams, great training modules and customer support (we have a dedicated CSM that we meet with weekly)
What do you dislike about the product?
Filtering and search are sub-par, difficult to work with and require some manipulation in order to find campaigns
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating campaigns across different apps/marketing touchpoints (IAM, push nofitications, email) all in one platform with the ability to integrate into internal reporting

Flexible and intuitive interface, expansive insights, ease of implementation of new channels based on business needs

Customer support response timing can often lag for days, communication around new features is confusing, ability to create and use templates is limited

Braze allows us to scale digital marketing campaigns and iterate on them based on the insights provided to further improve effectiveness.

Marketing Made Easier: Braze Delivers Power and Flexibility

What do you like best about the product?
We migrated to the Braze platform from SFMC over a year ago and have found it to be so much easier to use to execute our marketing messaging. Here's where we found the advantages:

Personalization/Segmentation: Where Braze really stands out is in its ability to segment audiences in highly granular ways. Using a combination of behavioral, custom attribute, and location data, I can create very specific audience segments that ensure our messages reach the right people at the right time.
Omnichannel Capabilities: Braze excels in its ability to execute omnichannel campaigns. We can seamlessly coordinate across channels like email and in-app messaging, all within one platform. The unified messaging experience for users has helped us to reach customers via email or on our site. In addition, we can also leverage Braze for our social media audiences and messaging, whether building lookalike or exclusion audiences for targeting.
Flexible Integrations: Integrating Braze with our existing tech stack was relatively smooth. It also allows for other integrations, like Segment CDP, data warehouses, and many other third-party tools.
Customer Support: Braze’s support team is knowledgeable and responsive. Additionally, they provide comprehensive resources such as webinars, documentation, and best practices guides that have helped us make the most of the platform. We've also leveraged the online community for asking questions and getting answers.
What do you dislike about the product?
No software platform is without its challenges. Some areas we've cited for improvement are:

Currents (contract limitations) - in order to get the full reporting insights and data inflow/outflow to support our reporting and targeting, we'd need to spend a lot more money on additional Currents flows (only one Currents is included).

Design/Engineering overhead - some features, like the in-app messages and content cards, can require a heavier lift from engineering and design support, which presents a bottleneck for our projects and ability to rapidly excecute campaigns.

Intuitive, but to a point - While the platform is incredibly powerful, some of the advanced features, like like campaign triggers, data integrations, or automation rules, require a bit of a learning curve, especially for those new to marketing automation (our junior or newbie staffers) . More guidance for advanced use cases would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Personalized Customer Engagement:
One of the biggest challenges we faced before using Braze was delivering personalized, timely messages at scale. Braze enables us to use detailed customer data (like behavior, preferences, and past interactions) to segment our audience with precision. This personalization has helped us drive higher engagement, improved conversion rates, and ultimately stronger customer loyalty.

Omnichannel Campaign Execution:
Prior to Braze, we struggled to deliver a consistent, unified experience across multiple channels. Braze solves this by allowing us to run integrated campaigns across email and our site (in-app messages). This omnichannel approach ensures that customers receive relevant messages, wherever they are in the customer journey, leading to improved brand consistency and engagement.

Automated Workflows and Retargeting:
Braze has made it easy for us to set up automated workflows that trigger messages based on specific customer behaviors—whether that’s sending a retargeting email or a re-engagement follow-up. This automation has saved our team time and effort, while also ensuring that customers receive timely, relevant communication without manual intervention.

not having to import data, it's already in there. great templating so I can create emails pretty quickly
