What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to create email templates with Braze, and I find it really convenient to export data that I need to share with my team. This ease of use makes it a lot easier when I need to share the results of campaigns or when I'm making decisions. I'm able to have the information I need easily, which helps me decide on the next steps.
What do you dislike about the product?
The onboarding process could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Braze to centralize reporting and email customers easily, making communication user-friendly. It's simple to create email templates and export necessary data for sharing with my team.

What do you like best about the product?

It's really good as is but could have more elements for training, especially in targeting testing.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how the Braze platform is designed; it's such an easy-to-use interface for campaign execution. It makes it easy to target recipients with the right message at the right time. I like how intuitive it is to use, and it's very easy to know where to go even though I am new at using the tool. The initial setup was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems like there is almost TOO many options. It would be good if there were more best practices and documentation.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like Braze because it allows me to quickly and easily see performance data at both a macro level, like canvases and campaigns, and a more detailed point of view for individual messages. I like the audience lookup feature when troubleshooting issues specific to certain users, as it helps me find users and assess the communications they've been sent. I also find certain features in the dashboard builder helpful for tracking performance through custom dashboards, although I feel they could be better. The search functionality is a standout as well, being both easy to use and effective, which helps me quickly find canvases and campaigns even when I don't know their exact names or location. I'm a big fan of Braze overall, and it has greatly supported our product marketing efforts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although the report builder is great for the dashboard feature, it could be much improved. The graphs and charting have never worked effectively for me. And the ability to customize seems very surface level. I'd love to personalize further and go deeper. I also wish there was a feature that we could easily create a test user (with specific profile attributes) to test comms in the live environment. Similarly, a dashboard visually showing all of the comms that a user has received would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze lets me see performance data easily for campaigns and individual messages. It helps find users, troubleshoot issues, and track performance with custom dashboards. The search functionality makes finding canvases and campaigns quick when I don't know their exact names.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the UI/UX of the Braze experience and how straightforward the API integration documentation is. The customer service is responsive and helpful. I use the APIs the most to set up email preference managers, which enable us to create a front-end experience to allow users to customize their marketing opt-ins and preferences. The initial setup was pretty straightforward with the API documentation.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Braze primarily for cross-channel customer engagement, and I really appreciate the real-time personalization it offers, which lets us reach out instantly when a customer takes specific actions like viewing a product category or abandoning a cart. The seamless cross-channel orchestration ensures customers get a consistent experience regardless of which device or channel they use. I also find the powerful AI tools very helpful in optimizing our efforts. Braze's strong integrations and good documentation with easy-to-use tools are a big plus. The initial setup was easy and smooth, making the whole process a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
New marketers need extensive onboarding, which can be challenging getting started. It's difficult to estimate the cost for scaling programs since Braze doesn’t have public pricing, and as the user count grows, the price varies making it hard to determine costs upfront. Organizing campaigns becomes time-consuming as users grow, especially managing a large number of canvases across multiple regions. Teams without engineering support often need additional help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Braze for real-time customer data interaction, cross-channel journeys, and personalized content delivery. It automates optimizations and manages complex data efficiently. The real-time personalization and cross-channel orchestration enhance engagement by ensuring relevance and conversion.

Easy Email Creation

What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to build emails without coding knowledge and making it look nice and appealing for readers.
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes the formatting of the email comes out a bit different when pasted into gmail.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
emails that are engaging and get clicked on were difficult but braze made it more interesting looking.

It is user friendly, there help videos are good and useful. The materials provided for learning are good content and clear.

That a new language syntax is required to be learned.

Expensive Add-Ons and Limited Testing Make Braze Frustrating

What do you like best about the product?
The UI is clean and simple. It has robust send capabilities. I like working with Liquid for in-campaign logic and their work with API driven data is pretty good (caching, chaining calls, etc.).
What do you dislike about the product?
It's expensive. The base of it might not be, but they chunk up features as 'add ons' so when you get to the same state you'd be in with a competitor you're likely paying way more. It's also not friendly for testers. You can't view event logs for users - only for 'test' accounts - which sucks because what if you want to test 'sign up' events where an account doesn't exist yet? That's not possible in Braze! It seems so basic but you can't do it. The data is there, they show you counts of events and timestamp of the last done event, just not a log. And filtering segments down to properties within an event and a time period - also not doable without a segment extension. And guess what, you only get 25 with the base account, you have to pay extra for another 10. It's greedy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a platform to send personalised messages to users via email, SMS, app push. It does the job.

Unable to sort canvas user data by date without creating new segments. We should be able to export all emailed users from a canvas who were attempted a send within x date range.
