Great ESP except for one thing...
What do you like best about the product?
The Braze Customer Support team are very helpful with helping execute new tactics and with instructing us on how to leverage all of Braze's features. The platform itself is very user-friendly and the analytics dashboard is clear.
What do you dislike about the product?
The segmentation tool still needs a lot of work. It's currently not possible for us to segment based on certain properties within events and we're only able to use most historical data within a 30 day period and for many of our segments, we do need to be able to go beyond the 30 days.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze is helping us with being able to personalize messaging and personalize a customer's experience based on the many attributes and events we house per each profile. We're able to get very granular with personalization, which is great!
Best compared with the competitors - the most userfriendly
What do you like best about the product?
I feel like Braze is the easiest plaform to use in terms of visuals, is very user friendly, intuitive UI and easy to implement as well.
They are easy to integrate with other platforms and I would highlight the customer support and account teams who are frequently helping us.

What do you dislike about the product?
A few email limitations on templates and use cases, platform can be slow sometimes and they could improve reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're building automations for customer journeys and sending out communications through different channels. Braze helps us creating scalable campaigns with different segmentations.
easy enough tool to use
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is easy to set up flows with different channels and have variant with different steps which can be separated and put back together.
What do you dislike about the product?
the reporting side of things is not great

It's easier to use that our former tool so we can create meaningful journeys wihtout deep tech knowledge.
Braze is an excellent deployment platform
What do you like best about the product?
Braze has a very user-friendly UI that our marketing team has an easy time navigating and using every day. Braze offers a lot of features to optimize campaign performance: from A/B/autowinner functionality, to intelligent send timing, to sophisticated lifecycle flow & remarketing capabilities, to tags. Braze's segmentation capabilities are pretty good as well, but of course it's important for the brand to supply the right type and amount of data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Braze had a bit more in the way of CPD functionality to enable even better sophistication in targeting and in understanding customer data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze enables us to reach our customers with compelling content across channels (email, push, in-app, SMS).
Great tool for quick turnaround to communicate to users
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility and ease of use of setting up various communication channels. The Braze team had been wonderful in onboarding our team onto the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if there were a few more out of the box templates to play with and perhaps some canvas templates to configure.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, range of features and offerings, great for cross-channel orchestration, expansive testing capabilities, great customer support via their Support Engagement Lead and Technical Account Manager support offerings
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited SMS short linkening capabilities, inability to target clients who have converted off a specific campaign/canvas tag, inability to create SMS subscription groups without involvement from Braze CSM
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increasing level of personalization within our campaigns, efficient cross-channel orchestration, determining most optimal channel for a client to receive messages on, GenAI offerings such as copywriting to get campaigns up and running quickly, expansive A/B testing options, turnkey integrations especially via Connected Content
Braze is great and I see it getting better.
What do you like best about the product?
Braze is a platform that's easy to use and with a lot of potential. We use Braze on the daily; it allows us to make small tweaks very quickly, analyze what's possible and move on to improve. Our CSM has been exceptional too - any question I shoot her way, she's always cleared them in a few days so that's definitely amazing!
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm very picky regarding the journey/canvas builder, usually I'd have a big monitor that I can trace the user journey through steps and hurdles, basically, I really enjoy a very accessible and easy to use canvas editor that I can imagine myself to go through as a user; however this is a little complicated to envision on Braze Canvases compared to other players in the market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making our lives easier, simple as. I can't see us without a CRM at all!

The biggest upside is the clean, easy to use platform.

No major downsides. The support team and available resources have assisted on any requests for assistance.

Streamlined and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Braze is very easy to navigate. Setting up campaigns is very straightforward and I like how many help docs are available online. It's visually pleasing, which is a big upgrade from what we used before.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting could be more robust, there's a few elements of campaigns that I'd like to compare to each other that aren't available in Braze reports. When I test emails, I don't like that the groups I've selected and/or email addresses I've entered to receive the test disappear when I click back to add customizations. I always have at least 2 versions of emails to test, so I need to reenter the email addresses each time.
I would like to create templates from existing campaigns - sometimes I have a campaign made that I want to duplicate to a canvas, but I don't have that option and need to start from scratch.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The drag and drop option has eliminated a lot of work from our developer, which has made it easier for him to focus on other work and me to not have to lean on him for building emails. Canvases make creating automations very straightforward and has eliminated a lot of guess work.
Braze is Ablaze with Functions
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is beneficial for our CRM management since it has a wide range of features specifically when creating campaigns and is easy to understand when you're new to it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The 30-day limitation on the messaging history of an account. It may be fair for others and also for real-time checking but not that useful for those who handle escalations and need to review campaigns that were sent over 30 days.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Analytics part is very helpful. Similar to its features that are easy to understand and navigate, its Analytics offers a wide range of reporting features (i.e. report builder)
