Braze has been pivotal to the success of the CRM program at Wonder
What do you like best about the product?
I like that we can utilize all CRM channels effectively through one platform. Braze allows us to re-target users and be smart about how often users receive messages across Email, Push, SMS & In-App. Customer support has been really great for any new features we're launching, as well as monthly discussions to ensure we're getting the most out of Braze.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only critique I have is I wish I could update Conversion_Events of Campaigns/Canvas that have been 'Launched' in braze but haven't started sending yet. I.e. a setup an email for deployment this Friday on Monday, but I want to update the Conversion Events on Wednesday, I can't do that currently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze powers all of our CRM marketing comms from Email, SMS, Push, & In-App across Transactional, Editorial & Lifecycle Triggered comms.
A Breath of Fresh Air
What do you like best about the product?
Braze is a very simple tool, it makes outbound communications very simple. We have been able to add a significant amount to our bottom line with very little effort. The implementation was very simple, and was not very taxing on our team. The Support staff at Braze is very helpful and they want you to succeed it was nice to be able to have a weekly conversation with our customer success manager. We currently are using Braze at least once every week for new canvases however, Braze has made it simple to set up automatic campaigns that send hourly. Our Dev team didn't have many issues with integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Braze has so many ways you can segment users it can be a bit overwelhming at first but this detractor was not a problem with the product it was just a learning curve at the beginning of our term with Braze.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently Braze is helping us personalize messaging to reduce our churn rate and help convert users at a higher cost. Obviously increasing our ASP for returning/churn risk customers is extremely valuable we are recieving more in upfront bookings. It has been very simple to set it up as well which leaves us more time for other task.
Powerful marketing platform for a product growth team
What do you like best about the product?
Braze is an incredibly powerful automation platform that has impressed us since day 1.
Our company was very experienced with plug-and-play marketing platforms that had native integrations with Salesforce CRM, Microsoft, etc. But we reached a point where we needed a lot more. We were looking for a marketing platform that allowed us to pull in ANY data point from our data lake and trigger communications to users. We also didn't want to be limited by automations based purely off user fields. We wanted event-based triggers.
We found Braze and it has absolutely delivered. The API integrations are very powerful and just what we needed. We integrated Braze with Snowflake and built our own two-way sync with our Salesforce CRM. We synced our product user database with Braze - this was a game changer. We could sync any event to Braze (e.g. product login, button clicks, any feature from our product) and built drip campaigns (i.e. Canvases) triggered off the user's activity in our product in real-time. We sync user data to Snowflake and built our acquisition funnel, user engagement reports and other business reporting in Looker.
There's a steeper learning curve and more time required during the initial implementation than other plug-and-play marketing automation platforms like Pardot and Marketo. But it is so worth it.

What do you dislike about the product?
From syncing data with Snowflake, CRM, reporting to building a simple email campaign, Braze requires a more technical skillset than other simpler marketing automation systems. But if you have the engineering resources and you want to take your automation to another level and really deliver personalised communications based on individual user behaviour in real-time, Braze is a no-brainer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Braze, our previous marketing automation platform had no way to sync user activity data from our product and trigger communications. We needed a marketing platform that allowed us to sync any data point, as events not only as fields, and send any data into our datalake. From there, we've built a lot of custom reporting and tooling that has taken our automation to another level.
Steep learning curve, but a robust, reliable, feature-rich platform that every marketer needs
What do you like best about the product?
Braze stands out as a premier marketing tool that adeptly supports multichannel campaigns and customer journeys. Its real-time data processing and robust REST API integration enable marketers delivers personalized and impactful messaging at scale.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are difficulties in customizing segment lists after initial upload.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sending a large volume of emails to thousands of users, while wanting to customize the message.
very easy to use and actually usefull
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful things about braze for me were: Omni-Channel Engagement and Real-Time data processing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Complexity for beginners, the cost of the platform and the data points
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fragmented customer engagement, lack of personalization and Inefficient marketing workflows
Powerful features, poor reporting
What do you like best about the product?
The breadth of things it can do and different types of comms can be built for many different use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
Experimentation processes are built differently between campaigns and Canvas comms, making reporting and testing more cumbersome than it should be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I believe they are trying to improve their reporting and analytics capabilities so those processes can be more automated. We also like the catalogue feature and have already found a hacky way to use it to our advantage as a b2b2c company.
Powerful but frustrating
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to easily communicate with users without any dev work
What do you dislike about the product?
Targeting exactly the right user group can often be quite complex. In addition, it would be nice to be able to do more than just click on a message eg. Free text fields
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to communicate with users without any dev work
User friendly, all-in-one marketing automation platform
What do you like best about the product?
Once setup and onboarded, Braze is very easy platform to use. I've found there to be a number of features straight out of the box that are available to you, while the ones that required a bit of Product/Dev time weren't difficult to implement.
The platform integrated well with our stack, which was one of our key requirements for its adoption orginally.
The platform integrated well with our stack, which was one of our key requirements for its adoption orginally.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not too much to dislike from my pov, really. The pricing can be a little bit black-boxed with some add-ons requiring additional spend. And I find the user events/segmentation to sometimes be a little imprecise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All-in-one multi channel automation platform which allows me, a single user, fluidity in optimising channels, content and other variables.
Great CRM Platform but Support Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Braze offers intuitive editing features, product cataloging, easy data segmentation features, and a robost campaign builder. The canvas is also miles ahead of its competition as far as filtering options.
What do you dislike about the product?
No chat support. Implementation in onboarding needs improvement. Braze implementation partners are more like consultants and not really hands-on in enablement, so plan to have your own internal team configure your account and migrate data and assets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze is a platform for customers who have a mobile-first audience. For customers who have mobile strategies around their app using SMS, push, and in-app features, Braze is top in that area compared to it's competitors.
Using Braze for MarTech
What do you like best about the product?
Cost and enhanced features for end to end campaign management
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult to learn and understand as comapred to other tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manage client projects at a lower cost
