I love the Learning documentation, the courses and community that Braze offers.
What do you like best about the product?
I find Braze interface easy to use and there is plenty of help available including Braze university, with lotsof coursese and documentation as well as the Braze community.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems there are always barriers to what and how we can use the features. Because I don't work on the technical and data side it seems like there is always a lot of work involved in getting things set up, something that seems to be simple is over complicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to intelligentally connect with our existing customers at critical points of their user journey. Our CRM work is one of our businesses biggest revenue streams.
Braze User For 3+ years
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the UI of the product. It is clear, easy to understand and provides an enormous amount of value.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the data abilities are limited from my understanding. There is a lot offered but not as much of a deep dive as possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze makes it easy as a one stop shop. They handle everything needed from audience segmentation, deployment, etc etc.
Good but missing some basic features
What do you like best about the product?
Content blocks are incredible helpful, and their drag and drop template as well. Canvas are easy to build.
What do you dislike about the product?
- You cant group segments with OR / AND, as in (X AND X ) OR (X AND X)
- You can't target content cards based on a URL
- You can't save blocks to reuse on drag and drop
- Can't see analytics per comm in a canvas in a intuitive way

It's a lot of dev work, the feedback from support can be muddled

Fkexibility of system, excellnt support and strategic direction.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some minor bugs can be annoying day to day but in the main, faultless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Personalisation across channels and ability to include and exclude audiences across different platforms.
A Great Platform With Great Support From Braze
What do you like best about the product?
The drag and drop email build interface provided an easy solution to email builds for a new hire while they would be on their own while the senior members of the team were out on paternity leave. We have since implemented this in place of our existing html build.
What do you dislike about the product?
No option for video or phone calls with support (zoom or otherwise, scheduled etc.). In the past we've had a breakdown in communication while trying to explain issues over email and screenshots, something which could have been clarified in realtime with screen sharing over zoom. There are some issues with the platform that aren't great, like how product purchase data exists in Braze, tied to user profiles and is usable for segmentation, but not usable with liquid for dynamic personalisation. This has resulted in months of work to create a new attribute to pass data through with an event to essentially store information that is already there in a different way. Braze support were very helpful with getting this to work, but it was a lengthy process and we'll still have to backfill older user's data. I'm sure this will be something they'll enable with an update in the future but it's actually pretty amazing that this isn't available already. It's things like this which on the surface seem like they should be easy to do, that end up being difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze allows us a central location to handle all of our customer data and in turn use it to send campaigns to those customers. It allows us to send automated campaigns when we need to, and also see the results of those campaigns in real time in a clear and concise way.
Brilliant platform with great features
What do you like best about the product?
They are always adding new features to the platform and offer training with their in-depth courses and optional exams for certification. I like the ability to enhance the user experience by integrating email, SMS and display content in one place, making Braze a powerful platform. The automated canvases are also easy to use and connect to platforms like Google & Facebook seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sending test emails often takes a while to function which if an urgent campaign needs to be sent could impact the business in terms of delivery. The stability of the platform is questionable at times as error page sometimes appears, preventing work from being saved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze supports campaign delivery whether that be collating the data passed for easy segmentation of audiences, using canvases to create an automated program so campaigns can be created and automatically sent out to consumers 24/7. The integration with Liquid logic has made personalisation easy and the software that detects 'same account' is also very handy for a clean data.
Great Platform
What do you like best about the product?
What I like abuot Braze is that you can create complex workflows that can address all communication needs. You can become hyper personalized this way which is a great strategy for email.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UX can be a little annoying at times. For example navigating a canvas when there are a ton of modules. It would be nice to zoom out so you can see everything you are looking at.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can reach our customer via multiple channels in Braze. It is nice to be able to set up and emai, in app / web message and/or pushnotification all in one swoop.
Braze - Constantly evolving and updating
What do you like best about the product?
I like how important feedback is to the Braze team. Feedback includes changes to be made, functionality that you want to see, and just general thoughts on the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not the intended use, but would be amazing if Braze had more CRM capabilities. Such as tracking user journeys, what messaging they receive and how they engage with the messaging in a more digestible format.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being our ESP and lifecycle platform, able to communicate with our users through multiple marketing channels.

Easy to use, robust features, and good customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some bugs slow us down sometimes. Their regular segments are lacking, so we have to pay for "extra" things like segment extensions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Optimization, efficiency, marketing strategy, increasing subscriptions, improving churn and retention.
