Intuitive and powerful platform tool leveraging easy connections and enabling efficient use
What do you like best about the product?
Braze has an incredible development team and support network, constantly working hard to deliver a 5-star experience. From top-end development of the product offerings to resolution of the simplest of beginner queries, Braze is always on hand and ready to help, enjoying working together to resolve and improve all aspects of the platform and user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the more technical aspects seen in other platforms like data manipulation on the fly (SQL/JS/Dimension Tables etc.) aren't as widely available within Braze. Although you can format variables easily with Liquid syntax and create vivid dynamic content with tools like 'Catalogs' and 'Connected Content', it does force the product owners to consider using a customer data platform to do the heavy lifting. In my opinion, this is a preferred method anyway, ensuring that any data present in Braze to be used in displayed content, is in its final format upon arrival. So it does move this aspect of data control further upstream, but then equally enables the end user to create more freely and efficiently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze can solve many problems for many different business goals - predominantly focussed around interconnecting platforms or toolsets and moving you towards a centralised and governed approach to your marketing data and content. For example, based on client feedback, Braze Development Team recently updated the connected content data pipeline. This update enabled a clearer reporting picture of the sub-level control groups being applied within a Canvas Flow. This level of commitment and desire to achieve results always keeps me coming back to Braze with a smile.

What do you like best about the product?
Braze allows our team to create many automated user journeys that follow their experience on our website. There are many possibilities for personalization to ensure our messages are sent to the right customers at the right moments!
What do you dislike about the product?
It might require some support from the IT team for configuration at the beginning and whenever you want to develop new placements and features from Braze. So probably won't be suitable for small companies with limited tech support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze helps us increase our users' activities on the platform depending on their stage in the users' life cycle and hence, boost activation and help churn prediction.
Powerful CRM
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that it's been designed for multiple channels by nature (emails, push, SMS etc.) and that it works very well for many stacks/tech architectures (from quick plug-in with Shopify to custom API).
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like some of the limitations Braze puts in place in terms of data consumption or segment builds. It would also be much more efficient to have access to chat support (like many other CRM tolls) to fix quick issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze helps us have a holistic view on what we are sending to our users. It helps make sure our communications are tailored and adapted to each individual across multiple channels.

The segmentation and reporting is easy to access.

Finding attributes to use in liquid and even finding the proper help to use liquid can sometimes be challenging.

We previously didn't have a lot of access to reporting or segmentation, so that's been really helpful.

What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting capabilities and the data extraction for analysis are poor; selecting only 50 campaigns and not having a scheduled ability to automate this process is taking valuable time from our team.

Most of the interactions we want to build between our communications strategies and our customers.
Braze - Quick to learn with lots of depth
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to send a campaign out to the masses. A lot of configuration allows you to set up the campaign that you want.
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of pitfalls will render the campaign not firing or firing inaccurately. There are no checks in places, it really relies on the user to make sure the campaigns are properly set up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us target our marketing campaign to the users we want. It also allows for custom segmentation which is extremely important as we tailor these campaigns to different groups of users.
Great partner for flexible CRM campaigns
What do you like best about the product?
Braze is a flexible product, and the team is always there to help! I like how Braze is able to merge with different products and keeps on improving their product with new features!
What do you dislike about the product?
What I think could be improved is in regards to AB testing. It's not so clear how to get statistically-significant results. If Braze has a lesson or guide on AB testing on Braze, it would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze solves a lot of problems like for testing new product features and being able to run tests for different segments. This is benefiting us by allowing us to learn fast and iterate quickly.

What do you dislike about the product?
it doesnt give live view of actions done by users. also the events triggred by users before signup are just plotted in graph from where we cant identify which user triggered that event, one has to individually search for that user and within has to see the related events triggred for that user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps in tracking growth of customers and help in revenue growth as well with real time insights and analytics.-It is well integrated solution as it is helps source data from CRM systems, databases and warehouses,-Helps connect with customer across channels and provide them unified experiences.

What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is not only aesthetically pleasing but is very intuitive and dynamic as well. Likewise, if there's something I have trouble finding, the various guides and labs are beneficial in supplementing my knowledge.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to navigate outside of the editor to save is, at times, tedious. The inbox vision is finicky to work with, whether previews render differently from inbox tests or I have to save and rerun the test every time I edit my email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Segmentation, data display, and a collaborative interface are all vital to my day-to-day work in Braze. Data imports into Braze are seamless, and targeting is made simple, with list logic being extremely straightforward. Some ESP's have a much more convoluted data display where Braze effectively outlines data for quick review.
