What do you like best about the product?
Notifications through Mobile App, SMS and international Voice Calls/
Mobile app & Activity logs are very useful.

Rules UI can be more simple to use + add more features to rules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sending alerts from our main monitoring system to the on-call individual.

Efficient alerting, great support

What do you like best about the product?
Getting information frim systems to the alerting service couldn’t be simpler yet you still have a powerful logic available that can match any need.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only gap for us is that it’s US centric running on AWS in that region. It’s hardly blocking but if the option to move to the EU would ever become available we’d be keen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alerting On Call teams can be a complex affair especially when dealing with multiple teams. Being able to handle this complexity and no longer requiring a human operator team or service 24/7 where the usefulness is only when an incident occurs, is tremendously cost efficient.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don’t hesitate to contact their support for any questions you have. I’ve found them responsive and willing to think outside the normal product scope to meet a custom need.

What do you like best about the product?
They are a big part of our company great customer service and they have and awesome attitude. With ops genie we are a better company in all aspects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. Everything is great for us. Im the owner of www.techmexico.com.mx we are starting the business and with ops genie with us we feel that we can provide a profesional service to our customers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Im starting the company but as soon as we get the clients I know the service will be the best ! The testing is great.

What do you like best about the product?
Quick support and a feature request was followed up and even got build in.

Elaborate scheduling of people and teams is possible and easy to setup
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features like turning of certain parts of schedules can only be done with admin rights. It would be nice if permissions could be set instead of just role selecting
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alerting when certain systems are down. We need 24/7 uptime

Slide bar features, Alert mechanism and On-call funcationality

can implement alerts functionality bit better apart from this I didn't face any issues till now

Adaptability and ease of intergration with other systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nope. Nothing. Can't think of a thing. Fits everything our team needs.

Single source of truth for team all call resource. Alerting the right team based on layout of monitoring. tracking response time.

What do you like best about the product?
I am a business developer, not a traditional software engineer, and the most common complaint I hear with technologies used by the business is "Why were we not notified that this was down?!?"
It is a night and day difference to be able to tap into ops genie to build monitoring scripts and no longer have to worry about that day in day out!
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of Customizability to notify certain individuals on a team rather than the whole team with out giving them a separate team account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notifications for system downtime
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very simple API to tap into and have basic alert monitoring

The configuration options allow for maximum flexibility.
The application on android and iOS is very simple and fast to act with minimal touches.
What do you dislike about the product?
Escalation policies, stakeholders and mass notifications/templates could be more clear.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OpsGenie is our alerting platform for both our customer support resources and our operational team resources. Having switched from another leader in the industry we are happy and paying less than half.

Opsgenie offers an easy integration with plenty of platforms and services making it possible to get a direct update on anything happening around your business.

It can be limited in someways depending on the integrations.

I like that if you are not on call you don't receive alerts.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike at the momemnt.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have multiple international groups that use OpsGenie. It makes thing really easy when we have to do an on-call handoff.
